Dear customer,
Thank you for deciding on the coin counting and sorting machine CS  from ratiotec. With this device you will
be able to count and sort coins both quickly and easily. Please read the operating instructions through carefully
to ensure a smooth and fault-free operation. We additionally recommend an annual maintenance of the product
– at least once a year. The recommended operational performance is . coins per year.
Note: Please handle the device with care. Do not store the machine in a hot or humid place. Do not expose the
machine to direct sunlight or rain. Operate the machine only on a flat and rm surface. Do not insert banknotes
or other items, except the coins that you are going to count, in the coin feeder. Do not use heavily soiled coins
for the counting process. Do not lean over the device to avoid hair or ties getting stuck in the coin feeder. Please
do not grab into the coin feeder during the counting process. Do not disassemble the machine unless the
power supply is cut o. Do not use easily inflammable sprays to clean the device. At the edge of the coin feeder,
there is a warning line (“FULL LINE”). The coins in the feeder can’t exceed the line, otherwise, it will aect the
performance of the machine.

PRINT Print the counting results
Connect the mains cable with the mains cable connection on the back of the CS  and plug the cable into a
wall socket. Switch on the device. The unit now performs a self-test. The display shows “WAIT” during this test
run. When “ PCS” and “.” appear on the display the test is completed. Insert the coins in the coin feeder
and start the counting process by pressing START | STOP. The coins are now sorted into the individual coin cups.
When all coins have been counted and sorted, the counting process is automatically stopped. You can also stop
the counting process with the START | STOP key. The counting results are shown on the display. The upper value:
the piece number of counted coins (PCS). The lower value: the total value of the counted coins. Above the coin
cups you can see which coin type has been sorted into which cup. In order to delete the counting results, press
the Clear button. After switching o the machine, the counting results will be deleted automatically.
By pressing the “REP” key, you can call up the detailed results per coin denomination after a counting operati-
on. Press the “REP” button again to jump to the next coin value. Press the “START | STOP” button to return to
the grand total.
Settings in the setup menu
In the standard display, press the “SET” key to enter the setup menu. Press the “START | STOP” button to exit
the setup menu at any time.

Batch
The CS  makes it possible to count a preset number of coins from a bigger amount of coins, for instance to
prepare coin rolls. To specify the batch value/counting stop for the individual coin cups, open the overview by
pressing the SET key.
The following is displayed: the upper value indicates the value of the selected coin, the lower value is the set
count stop at which the machine should stop counting. The value zero means that no counting stop is desired.
Press the “PRINT” key to switch between the counting stops of the individual coin types. Use the “+” and “-”
buttons to adjust the values. If you press and hold the “+” or “-” buttons, the value will be increased/decreased
in steps of . Press the “CLEAR” key to delete a set count stop. Press and hold the “CLEAR” button for approx
 seconds to clear all set count stops. To get out the setup menu, press the “START/STOP” key. The previously
set batches are saved.
If the counting stop of a coin type is reached, the machine stops the counting process and you receive the
following display:

Press the “START/STOP” button to resume counting.
Use the “+” key to activate and deactivate the set batch counting (in the normal counting mode). If a batch is
active, the display shows “Bat On”

The second setting option in the setup is the setting of the container type. In the standard display, press the
“SET” button twice to open the menu point. Press “PRINT” key to select container type. Depending on the
container type the CS  stops at the respective maximum charging capacity.

When pressing the “PRINT” key you can switch between the dierent receptacles (cup, money bag, tube) and
when using the “+” and “-“ buttons, the maximum values of the individual coin values will be displayed.
If the maximum value of a coin type is reached, you receive the following message:
Maximum value reached at . Euros.
If you have removed the coins from the coin cup, you can continue the counting process by pressing the
“START/STOP” key.
Print counting results
Setting the date and time
By pressing the PRINT key an overview of the counting results will be printed through the connected printer.
The receipt shows the quantity and value for each denomination, the total quantity, total value, date and time
of printing.
The third setting option in the setup is setting the time and the date. In the standard display, press the “SET”
button three times to open the menu point.
Press the “PRINT” button to switch between Year (Y), Month (M), Day (D) and Time. You can adjust the values
by pressing the "+" and "-" keys.

Maintenance and cleaning
For a trouble-free operation, we recommend an annual maintenance of the product via the ratiotec service and
regular cleaning of the machine. Please always turn o your device and disconnect it from the wall socket be-
fore cleaning! Switch o the machine and slide the Safety-Lock switch on the back to the opened lock symbol.
Pull the two side openers at the upper part of the machine upwards according to the markings and remove the
top cover.
Central position
When cleaning the sensors we recommend to remove the coin cups from the device and to always clean the
paired sensors together (at both long sides of the sorting holes). For cleaning you can additionally use a com-
pressed air spray.
After cleaning, place the transport wheel back in to the initial position, by pushing the mechanism down and
rotating the wheel back to position  or .Put the top cover back onto the machine. Slide the Safety-Lock switch
on the back to the closed lock symbol and insert the coin cups back into the device.

Error codes
Transport wheel
The transport wheel is designed to count , coins. After . coins you will receive the following
message:
The transport wheel must then be switched to the second position in order to compensate for the abrasion
caused by the transport of the coins. To do this, switch o the machine, open the machine cover as described
in the cleaning section. As standard the sorting mechanism is set on position “” (see position number on the
metal ring). Press the transport brush vertically down, then rotate the transport brush clockwise to the position
“”. Close the cover and switch on the machine. You will receive the above display message again. Please
conrm the above message by pressing the “REP” and “-” keys.
If the display message appears, but you don’t want to switch the positions right now, you can press the
“START/STOP” key to exit , but when switching on the next time, you will receive the above message again.
Please notice, that after you get this message you need to switch the positions of the transport brush soon to
ensure a smooth process.

Change the fuse
Position 
After , coins the transport brush has to be exchanged. You will receive the error message “BRUSH”.
Please contact us for arranging the replacement of the transport brush.
The device is protected by a fuse, which can be exchanged by you without any great eort.
Please turn o the machine before removing the fuse and unplug the power cord from the unit. Otherwise there
is a risk of life due to electrical shock.
Remove the fuse cover and replace the fuse with an equivalent new fuse. The lock of the fuse must be rmly
pressed again after changing.

vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für die Münzzähl- und Sortiermaschine CS  von ratiotec entschieden haben. Mit
diesem Gerät können Sie Euro-Münzen schnell und einfach zählen und sortieren. Bitte lesen Sie die Bedie-
nungsanleitung sorgfältig durch, um einen reibungslosen und fehlerfreien Betrieb zu gewährleisten.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen außerdem eine regelmäßige Wartung der Maschine - mindestens einmal im Jahr. Die
empfohlene Laufleistung beträgt . Münzen pro Jahr.
Hinweis: Bitte gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Gerät um. Vermeiden Sie zu warme und/oder zu feuchte Orte für
die Platzierung und setzen Sie das Gerät keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder Regen aus (Innenraum-Betrieb).
Stellen Sie die Maschine auf eine ebene und stabile Fläche. Geben Sie keine Banknoten und/oder andere
Fremdkörper außer den zu zählenden Euro-Münzen in den Münzeinzug. Verwenden Sie keine zu stark ver-
schmutzen Münzen für den Zählvorgang.
Lehnen Sie sich nicht über das Gerät, da sich sonst Haare, Krawatten etc. im Einzug verklemmen können. Bitte
greifen Sie während des Zählvorgangs nicht in den Münzeinwurf.
Önen Sie die Maschine nur, wenn die Stromversorgung unterbrochen ist. Verwenden Sie kein leichtentflamm-
bares Spray, um die Maschine zu reinigen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die zu zählenden Münzen nicht stark verschmutzt sind.
Am Rand des Münzeinzugs bendet sich eine Warnlinie („FULL LINE“). Die Münzen im Einzug dürfen die Linie
nicht überschreiten, da dies die Leistung der Maschine beeinträchtigt.

Bündelfunktion (Batch)
Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit dem Netzanschluss auf der Rückseite der CS  und stecken Sie den Netz-
stecker in eine Steckdose. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein. Das Gerät führt jetzt einen Selbsttest durch ("WAIT"),
bis im Display „ PCS“ und „.“ erscheint. Geben Sie die Münzen in den Münzeinzug und starten Sie den
Zählvorgang mit der START|STOP-Taste. Die Münzen werden nun in die einzelnen Münzbecher sortiert. Wenn
alle Münzen gezählt und sortiert wurden, wird der Zählvorgang automatisch gestoppt. Sie können den Zählvor-
gang auch mit der Taste START | STOP stoppen. Das Zählergebnis wird auf dem Display angezeigt. Obere Zahl:
Stückzahl der gezählten Münzen (PCS). Untere Zahl: Gesamtwert der gezählten Münzen in Euro. Oberhalb der
Münzbecher können Sie ablesen, in welchen Becher welche Münzsorte einsortiert wird. Um die Zählergebnisse
zu löschen, drücken Sie die CLEAR-Taste. Nach dem Ausschalten der Maschine werden die Zählergebnisse
automatisch gelöscht.
Durch Drücken der Taste „REP“ können Sie nach einem Zählvorgang die detaillierten Ergebnisse pro Münzwert
abrufen. Drücken Sie erneut die Taste „REP“, um zum nächsten Münzwert zu springen. Drücken Sie die Taste
„START | STOP“, um zur Gesamtsumme zurückzukehren.
Einstellungen im Setup-Menü
Drücken Sie in der Standardanzeige die Taste „SET“, um das Setup-Menü aufzurufen. Drücken Sie die Taste
„START | STOP“, um das Setup-Menü jederzeit zu verlassen.
Die CS  ermöglicht es, eine vorgegebene Anzahl von Münzen aus einer größeren Anzahl von Münzen zu
zählen, beispielsweise um Münzrollen vorzubereiten. Um den Batchwert / Zählstopp für die einzelnen Münzbe-
hälter festzulegen, önen Sie die Übersicht mit der SET-Taste.
Folgendes wird angezeigt: Der obere Wert zeigt den Wert der ausgewählten Münze an, der untere Wert ist
der eingestellte Zählstopp, bei dem die Maschine aufhören soll zu zählen. Der Wert Null bedeutet, dass kein
Zählstopp gewünscht ist. Drücken Sie die Taste „PRINT“, um zwischen den Zählstopps der einzelnen Münz-
sorten zu wechseln. Verwenden Sie die Tasten „+“ und „-“, um die Werte anzupassen. Wenn Sie die Tasten „+“
oder „-“ drücken und halten, wird der Wert in er Schritten erhöht / verringert. Drücken Sie die Taste „CLEAR“,
um einen eingestellten Zählstopp zu löschen. Halten Sie die Taste „CLEAR“ für ca.  Sekunden gedrückt, um
alle eingestellten Zählstopps zu löschen. Um das Setup-Menü zu verlassen, drücken Sie die Taste „START /
STOP“. Die zuvor eingestellten Zählstopps werden gespeichert. Wird der Zählstopp einer Münzsorte erreicht,
stoppt die Maschine den Zählvorgang und Sie erhalten folgende Anzeige:

Drücken Sie die Taste „START / STOP“, um mit dem Zählen fortzufahren.
Mit der Taste „+“ aktivieren und deaktivieren Sie die eingestellte Bündelzählung/den eingestellten Batch (im
normalen Zählmodus). Wenn ein Batch aktiv ist, zeigt das Display „Bat On“ an.

Die zweite Einstellungsoption im Setup ist die Einstellung des Behältertyps. Drücken Sie in der Standardanzei-
ge zweimal die Taste „SET“, um den Menüpunkt zu önen. Drücken Sie die Taste „PRINT“, um den Behältertyp
auszuwählen. Je nach Behältertyp stoppt die CS  bei der jeweiligen maximalen Füllkapazität.

Durch Drücken der Taste „PRINT“ wird zwischen den verschiedenen Behältern (Münzbecher, Münzsack, Münz-
hülse) umgeschaltet und mit den Tasten „+“ und „-“ die Maximalwerte der einzelnen Münzwerte angezeigt.
Wenn der maximale Wert eines Münztyps erreicht ist, erhalten Sie die folgende Nachricht:

Ausdruck der Zählergebnisse

Wartung und Reinigung
Durch Drücken der Taste PRINT wird eine Übersicht der Zählergebnisse über den angeschlossenen Drucker
gedruckt. Der Beleg zeigt die Menge und den Wert für jede Stückelung, die Gesamtmenge, den Gesamtwert,
das Datum und die Uhrzeit des Drucks an.
Die dritte Einstellungsoption im Setup-Menü ist die Einstellung der Uhrzeit und des Datums. Drücken Sie in der
Standardanzeige dreimal die Taste „SET“, um den Menüpunkt zu önen.
Drücken Sie die Taste „PRINT“, um zwischen Jahr (Y), Monat (M), Tag (D) und Uhrzeit zu wechseln. Sie können
die Werte mit den Tasten „+“ und „-“ einstellen.
Für einen einwandfreien Betrieb empfehlen wir eine jährliche Wartung des Geräts über den ratiotec Service
sowie eine regelmäßige Reinigung. Bitte schalten Sie Ihre Maschine immer erst aus und trennen Sie sie vom
Netzteil, bevor Sie die Reinigung durchführen! Reinigen Sie den Sortierbereich, das Transportrad inklusive des
schwarzen äußeren Ringes sowie die Sensoren mit dem Reinigungspinsel (im Lieferumfang enthalten). Zusätz-
lich empehlt es sich auch, ein Druckluftspray für die Reinigung zu verwenden. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
stellen Sie die Sicherheitssperre auf der Rückseite der Maschine auf das geönete Schlosssymbol ein. Ziehen
Sie die beiden seitlichen Entriegelungshebel am oberen Teil der Maschine entsprechend der Markierung nach
oben und nehmen Sie Geräteabdeckung ab. Vor Ihnen sehen Sie den Sortierbereich des Geräts. Drücken Sie
das Transportrad (Metallring) nach unten und halten Sie es gedrückt, während Sie es in die mittlere Position
zwischen  und  drehen. Merken Sie sich bitte, ob der Ring sich auf Position  oder  befand, damit Sie ihn
anschließend wieder auf die gleiche Position stellen können. Heben Sie das Transportrad aus dem Gerät.
Zentrale Position
Beim Reinigen von Sensoren empfehlen wir, die Münzbecher aus der Maschine zu entfernen und die gepaarten
Sensoren (jeweils einer an den beiden langen Seite der Sortierlöcher) zu säubern.
Zur Reinigung können Sie auch zusätzlich ein Druckluftspray verwenden.

Setzen Sie das Transportrad nach dem Reinigen wieder in die ursprünglichen Position ein, indem Sie die
Vorrichtung nach unten drücken und auf  oder  schieben.
Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf das Gerät. Schieben Sie die Sicherheitsverriegelung auf der Rückseite
zum geschlossenen Schlosssymbol und setzen Sie die Münzbecher wieder in das Gerät ein.

Transportrad
Das Transportrad ist für das Zählen von . Münzen ausgelegt. Nach . Münzen erhalten Sie im
Display folgende Nachricht:
Das Transportrad muss dann in die zweite Position geschaltet werden, um den durch den Transport der Münzen
verursachten Abrieb auszugleichen. Schalten Sie dazu die Maschine aus, önen Sie die Maschinenabdeckung
wie im Reinigungsabschnitt beschrieben. Standardmäßig steht die Sortiervorrichtung auf der Position „“ (sie-
he Positionsnummer auf dem Metallring). Drücken Sie die Transportbürste senkrecht nach unten. Drehen Sie
nun das Transportbürstenrad im Uhrzeigersinn in die Position „“. Schließen Sie die Abdeckung und schalten
Sie die Maschine ein. Sie erhalten die obige Displaymeldung erneut. Bitte bestätigen Sie die Meldung mit den
Tasten „REP“ und „-“.
Wenn die Displaymeldung erscheint, Sie aber die Position des Rads nicht sofort wechseln möchten, können
Sie die Meldung mit der Taste „START / STOP“ entfernen. Beim nächsten Einschalten erhalten Sie die Meldung
jedoch erneut. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie nach dem Erhalt dieser Meldung die Position des Transportbürsten-
rades zeitnah wechseln sollten, damit ein reibungsloser Ablauf gewährleistet werden kann.

Austausch der Sicherung
Das Gerät ist durch eine Sicherung geschützt, die Sie bei Bedarf problemlos austauschen können.
Bitte schalten Sie erst das Gerät aus, bevor Sie die Sicherung entfernen und ziehen Sie das Netzkabel aus dem
Gerät. Andernfalls besteht Lebensgefahr durch Elektroschock!
Entfernen Sie die Sicherungsabdeckung und ersetzen Sie die Sicherung durch eine gleichwertige neue Siche-
rung. Die Verriegelung der Sicherung muss nach dem Wechsel wieder fest hineingedrückt werden.

vi ringraziamo per aver scelto il conta e dividi monete CS  di ratiotec. Con questo apparecchio potrete con-
tare e dividere in modo semplice e veloce le monete Euro. Vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le istruzioni
per l’uso per garantire un funzionamento corretto e senza guasti.
Vi consigliamo inoltre una regolare manutenzione dell’apparecchio, almeno una volta all’anno. La capacità di
prestazione consigliata è di . monete all’anno.
Avvertenza: maneggiare l’apparecchio con cautela. Evitare di collocare l’apparecchio in luoghi troppo caldi e/o
umidi e di esporlo a raggi solari diretti o pioggia (uso all’interno).
Posizionare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana e stabile. Non inserire banconote e/o altri corpi estranei
diversi dalle monete Euro da contare nell’ingesso per monete. Non utilizzare monete eccessivamente sporche
per il processo di conteggio.
Non appoggiarsi all’apparecchio per evitare che capelli, cravatte ecc. si incastrino nell’ingresso. Non toccare
l’ingresso per monete durante il processo di conteggio.
Aprire l’apparecchio solamente quando l’alimentazione elettrica è interrotta. Non utilizzare spray facilmente
inammabili per pulire l’apparecchio.
Assicurarsi che le monete da contare non siano eccessivamente sporche.
Al bordo dell’ingresso si trova una linea di avvertimento (“FULL LINE”). Le monete nell’ingresso non devono
superare la linea per non compromettere il funzionamento dell’apparecchio.

Funzione accorpamento (Batch)
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione con il collegamento sul lato posteriore del CS  e inserire la spina di ali-
mentazione in una presa. Accendere l’apparecchio. L’apparecchio eettua ora un test autonomo ("WAIT") no
alla comparsa di “ PCS” e “.” sul display. Inserire le monete nell’ingresso per monete e avviare il processo
di conteggio tramite il tasto START|STOP. Le monete vengono ora suddivise nei singoli cassetti per monete.
Quando tutte le monete sono state contate e divise, il processo di conteggio si blocca automaticamente. Potete
bloccare il processo di conteggio anche tramite il tasto START | STOP. Il risultato del conteggio viene visualiz-
zato sul display. Numero superiore: quantità di monete contate (PCS). Numero inferiore: valore totale delle
monete contate in Euro. Sopra il cassetto per monete potete controllare in quale cassetto sono state inserite
quali monete. Per eliminare i risultati dei conteggi, premere il tasto CLEAR. Dopo aver spento l’apparecchio, i
risultati dei conteggi vengono automaticamente cancellati.
Premendo il tasto “REP” potete richiedere i risultati dettagliati di un processo di conteggio per valore delle mo-
nete. Premendo nuovamente il tasto “REP” si passa al valore di moneta successivo. Premendo il tasto “START |
STOP” si torna all’importo totale.
Impostazioni nel menu di impostazioni
Premendo il tasto “SET” si visualizza il menu di impostazioni. Premendo il tasto “START | STOP” si può uscire
in ogni momento dal menu di impostazioni.
La CS  consente di contare un determinato numero di monete da un numero maggiore di monete, ad esem-
pio per comporre tubi di monete. Per denire il valore dell’insieme / blocco del conteggio per i singoli cassetti
per monete, aprire la panoramica con il tasto SET.
Viene mostrato il seguente link: il valore superiore mostra il valore della moneta selezionata, il valore inferiore
è il blocco del conteggio impostato, raggiunto il quale l’apparecchio smette di contare. Il valore zero indica che
non è stato impostato un blocco del conteggio. Premendo il tasto “PRINT”, si possono cambiare i blocchi del
conteggio dei singoli tipi di monete. Utilizzare i tasti “+” e “-” per modicare i valori. Tenendo premuti i tasti
“+” o “-”, il valore aumenta / diminuisce a ritmo di . Premere il tasto “CLEAR” per cancellare un blocco del
conteggio impostato. Premendo il tasto “CLEAR” per circa  secondi si cancellano tutti i blocchi del conteg-
gio impostati. Premere il tasto “START | STOP” per uscire dal menu di impostazioni. I blocchi del conteggio
impostati vengono salvati. Quando viene raggiunto un blocco del conteggio di un tipo di moneta, l’apparecchio
blocca il processo di conteggio e viene visualizzata la seguente notica:
