Product description
With the Elektroflugmodel Quadrocopter acts it around an as far as possible pre-mounted helicopter with four rotors. In the
professionelen range such are already used „drones "for most diverse tasks. Most modern mikroprozessorgessteuerte
electronics with depth control and acceleration sensors stablisieren the Quad more rocopter. High-quality brushless direct
current motors in connection with one speziel developed control make a long, kraftvolen flying operation possible and give
each quantity of reserve for pay loads as e.g. cameras etc. by the new control and the electronic Selbststablisierung arise
outstanding flight characteristics. Different flight programs ensure for the fact that both a risers and professionals have
very rapidly their joy.
The designer framework in lightweight construction way with aluminum and Kunststofkomponenten is stable and makes
outstanding flight characteristics possible. The framework is to be transported hinged and thus simply and space-saving.
The designer framework takes up complete electronics and has place for extender cards. As a result of the lattice
building method a high firmness and a good protection for electronics arise.
To the Fertigstelung of the Models the still following components are necessary:
35 MHz A-volume 4-9-Kanal-PPM-Fernsteuersender
Suitable 35-MHz-A-Band-Quarzpaar
11.1 V LiPo LiPo-Flugakku
oThe use of at least 2000mAh 25C upto max. 4000mAh 20C is recommended
o2600 mAh 25C is the ideal combination of weight and achievement
Suitable battery charger
Flying time: depending upon flight style approx. 20 min. with an LiPo accumulator 11.1 V 2,600 mAh, 25 C
The Model offers the possibility of extensions by means of additional electronics (extension Erweiterungs-Schnittstele on
the control unit available) and the cultivation of various mechanisms at the platform mounting plate on the lower surface
of the lattice framework. References to it find you on the Internet sites of the Herstelers.

Safety references
With damage, which is caused by neglect of this operating instructions, the guarantee/warranty
expires. For damages and with special or personal injuries, which is caused by inappropriate
handling or neglect of the safety references, we do not take over adhesion! In such cases the
guarantee/warranty expires.
Normal wear and crash damage (engine mountings e.g. incoming or broken plastic parts) are
excluded furthermore from the guarantee and warranty.
Very honoured customer, very honoured customer,
these safety references serve not only for the protection of the product, but also for your own security and the other
persons. Read therefore this chapter very attentively, before you take the product in enterprise!
1 . G e n e r a l l y
For safety and permission reasons (CE) that is not permitted arbitrary ch an ges and/or changing the product.
The product is not a toy, it is suitable not for children under 14 years.
The product may not become damp or wet. Since in the Quadrocopter sensitive control electronics is used, which
reacts also to variations in temperature and is optimized for a certain temperature range, is an enterprise under
10°C is to be avoided.
If you should not have yet sufficient knowledge in handling remote controlled Modelhubschraubern, then you
turn to an experienced Modelsportler or to a Modelbau club.
The conclusion of a private liability insurance is recommendable. Fals you such already possess, then you
inform whether the enterprise of the Models also under the insurance protection fold. Consider: In different
countries of the European Union a liability to insure exists for ale Flugmodele!

Do not let the packing material thoughtlessly lie, this could for children the dangerous toy become.
If questions should result, which cannot be clarified assistance of the operating instructions, then you contact
please us (contact contacts see to chapter „introduction ") or another specialist.
The product was developed for an en t er p r i se with an ambient temperature between 10°C and 40°C and an air
humidity normal in C e n tr a l E u r op e in dry weather. Wi th an enterprise outside of these conditions mentioned it
c a n come to changed (Material-) characteristics and from it resulting also to d ama ges of the product!
A max. take-off weight by 1000g s o l not to be exceeded. With a higher take-off weight the rotors in the
enterprise can be damaged and be caused so a crash!
2 . B e f o r e each s t a r t - up
Stelen it surely that within the range of the remote control no further Modele on the same remote control channel
(transmitter frequency) is operated. They lose otherwise the Kontrole over the remote controlled Modele! Use
always different channels, fal s you at the same time two or several Modele in direct proximity to each other to
begin want.
Examine the insurance of operation of your Models and the remote control plant. If you pay attention thereb y to
visible damages, like e.g. defective plug connectors, or damaged cable loosens screws. In particular damaged
rotors can have dangerous consequences. Exchange old rotors. All mobile parts at the Model must no play in the
storage low-friction function, may however exhibit.
Make sure before each flight that the rotors are firmly bolted on the engines and can the rotors easily be turned.
Too firm screwing of the rotor on can lead to damages of the engine or the rotor.
The Flugakku used in the Model is to be lo aded according to the Herstelerangaben VOL-constantly.

Q C 4 5 0 - I
S i c h e r h e i t s h i n w e i s e –S e i t e 16
Always take for the enterprise of your Models the Teleskopantenne off at the transmitter on the complete
length, since the transmitter exhibits otherwise a substantially smaller range and the transmission final stage is above
average strongly loaded.
You scolded always first the transmitter. Only after it the Flugakku of th e Mod els may be attached and the
Model be switched on. Andernfals one can come it to unforeseeable reactions of the Quadrocopters and the rotors
can ungewolt start! Make sure that when switching on of the transmitter of the Gashebel on on lowest Stelung is
eingestelt!
Make sure w i t h running engines that neither articles nor parts of the body are in the trick and danger area of
the rotors.
3 . D u r i n g t h e e n t e r p r i s e
Do not be received w i t h enterprise of the product a risk! Their o w n security and your surrounding field
depend aleine on your reliable handling the Model.
The inappropriate enterprise can cause serious damages to property and person! Respect therefore with the flying
operation a sufficient safety margin to persons, animals and articles.
Select a suitable area for the enterprise of your Quadrocopters.
Fly you with your Model then only if your reactivity is without reservation given. Tiredness, alcohol or medicine
influence can lead to bad reactions.
Fly you never directly on spectators or on itself to and avoid you direct overflights/flyovers of spectators.
Both engine, autopilots and Flugakku can heat up with the ent erpr i se of the Models. Make for this reason after
at the latest 20 minutes flying time a break of 5 - 10 minutes, before you st ar t the Model again.
Leave always the remote control (transmitter) switched on, as long as the Model is in enterprise. Mark after the
landing always first the Flugakku out and/or scolded you the Model out. Only after it the remote control may b e
swit ch ed off.

With a defect or a malfunctioning first the cause of the disturbance is to be eliminated, before you start your
Model again.
Do not expose your Model and the remote control plant over longer time to the direct sun exposure or large heat.
With a heavy crash (for example f r om large height) the electronic Gyro sensors can be damaged and/or detuned.
Before a renewed flight from there absolutely the vole function is to be examined!
With a crash the gas is to be reduced immediately to nul. Turning rotors can b e d a ma ge d with contact with
obstacles and/or with the impact. Before a renewed flight these are to be examined absolutely for eventuele tears
or Bruchstelen!
In order to avoid damage to the Quadrocopter by crash because of undervoltage and/or to the accumulator by
over-discharging, we recommend, to absolutely consider in the flight the flare signals for undervoltage. Since
the inserted LEDs radiate only in a direction, we recommend the additional installation of the LiPo LiPo -Saver
stock No. 230327. The Lipo Lipo-Saver indicates by light signal a threatening undervoltage to you. Place the LiPo
LiPo-Saver at suitable Stele in the Quadrocopter.
Due to the natural heating up of the engines and the electronics construction units we recommend not to exceed a
flying time of max. 20 min. Afterwards you should leave the Model sufficiently to cooling, in order to avoid
eventuele damage by overheating!
4 . A f t e r t h e e n t e r p r i s e
Clean the Quadrocopter of contamination (grass etc.) and examine you the rotors for tightness as well as a n y
damages through crashes.
Always separate the accumulator from electronics by marking the plug out. Eventuel flowing rivers can destroy
otherwise the accumulator over-discharged and in such a way!

Battery and Akku references
Although handling Baterien and Akkus is in the daily life today a matter of course, numerous
dangers and problems exist. Particularly with LiPo /LiIon LiPo-/LiIon-Akkus with their high energy
content (compared with conventional NiCd- or NiMHAkkus) various regulations are to be kept
absolutely, since otherwise risk of explosion of fire exists.
The helicopter is supplied without Akkus and/or remote control. Nevertheless we would like to give
you for safety reasons to handli ng batteries and Akkus extensive information; consider also all
the remote control and the accumulator enclosed information of the manufacturer.
Batteries/Akkus do not belong into child hands.
Do not let batteries/Akkus furnace lie about. There is the danger that these by children or domestic animals are
swallowed. Visit in such F a l a physician immediately!
Batteries/Akkus may be never short circuit, divided or thrown into the fire.
There is danger of
explosion!
Run out ones or damaged batteries/Akkus can c au s e Verätzungen during contact with the skin. Use therefore
in this F a l suitable protective gloves.
Conventional batteries may not be loaded. There is fire and danger of explosion! Load exclusively for it
intended Akkus; use for it suitable accumulator charging units. Batteries (1.5V) are intended only for the unique
use and must be duly disposed of, if they are empty.
Pay attention when inserting batteries/Akkus and/or the connection of a Akkupacks to the correct polarity
(Plus/+ and minus consider). Same is valid when loading Akkus.

Q C 4 5 0 - I
With longer nonusage (e.g. w i th storage) take the Akkus inserted in the remote control, in order to avoid
damage by running out Akkus.
Always replacement you in the remote control transmitter the complete set of Akkus. Do not mix vole with
halbvolen Akkus.
Always use Akkus of the same type, the same capacity and the same Herstelers.
Never mix batteries with Akkus!
Reload Akkus ale three months, since it can come andernfals one by the self discharge to a so-called
over-discharging, whereby the Akkus becomes useless.
Battery chargers and Akkus warm up during the loading procedure. Therefore it i s necessary to pay attention
to a sufficient ventilation. Never take battery chargers and Akkus off!
Load the Flugakku used by you never immediately after the use. Leave to the Flugakku always only cooling (at
least 10-15 minutes).
Load only intact and intact Akkus.
If the outside isolation of the Akkus should be damaged or the Akkus deformed and/or blown up, it
may be loaded on no Fal. In this F a l fire and danger of explosion exists!
If you never damage the Außenhüle of a LiPo /LiIon LiPo-/LiIon-Akkus, do not cut the Folienumhülung,
do not sting with sharp articles in the accumulator. There is fire and danger of explosion!
Take from the Flugakku to the shop fro m the Model and put you him on a fireproof underground.
Hold for distance to inflammable articles.
Note!
The Flugakku is to be separated according to the flight from the Model to. Do not leave stuck on
to the Flugakku at the Model, if you do not use it (e.g. with transport or storage). Andernfals
one can become over-discharged the Flugakku, thus he destroyed/uselessly!
Separate the accumulator from the battery charger only then if it is loaded VOL-constantly.
Load Akkus never unsupervised.
