INSPECTION AND INVENTORY OF THE PRODUCT
Check unit carefully for damage which may have occurred
during transport. Each RCS product is carefully inspected
at the factory and packed in a special carton for safe
transport.
Notify the freight carrier immediately if you observe any
damage to the shipping carton or product!
Return: Repack the unit in the carton and await inspection
by the carrier’s claim agent. Notify your dealer of the
pending freight claim. Returning your unit for service or
repairs. Should your unit require service, contact your
dealer. If necessary, use our RMA form (only in german
available) on our website www.rcs-audio.com.

ALLGEMEINES UND BESONDERHEITEN
Das eigens für professionelle Anwendungen entwickelte
7-Kanal Bedientableau mit Einspeisemöglichkeit für bis
zu 4 Mikrofone, einem Stereo-Tonträgergerät sowie einem
AUX-Eingang.
Ein hochwertiges Klangbild entsteht durch die Trennung
der Signalwege. Durch diese Besonderheit entsteht die
Möglichkeit, die Mic- und die Lineeingänge separat in den
Höhen und Tiefen zu regeln. Die den einzelnen Kanälen zu-
gewiesene Signalanzeige-LED dient zur Überwachung des
eingehenden Signals.
Das UPM-431B verfügt bereits ab Werk über einen sym-
metrischen Ausgang. Es besteht die Möglichkeit für die 4
Mikrofoneingänge per Jumper eine Phantomspeisung zu
aktivieren.
Die Aussteuerung des Summensignals wird in 3 dB-Schrit-
ten über ein 8-stelliges VU-Meter angezeigt.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES
The 7-channel control panel, specially designed for profes-
sional applications, with the ability to feed up to 4 micro-
phones, a stereo sound recording device and an AUX
input.
A high-quality sound is created by the separation of the si-
gnal paths. This feature creates the ability to control the mic
and line inputs separately in the treble and bass. The signal
display LED assigned to each channel is used to monitor
the incoming signal.
The UPM-431B has a symmetrical output ex works. It is
possible for the 4 microphone inputs via jumper to activate
a phantom power.The modulation of the sum signal is dis-
played in 3 dB increments via an 8-digit VU meter

UB-100 A Player-Modul:
Das BT-Player-Modul verfügt über einen USB-Port und ein
SD-Card Fach. Zur Audioübertragung per BT bzw. USB
Verbindung von Smartphone, Tablet oder PC. Über den
SD-Card Player können Audiodateien auf einer entspre-
chenden SD-Card (in den Formaten: FLAC, WAV, APE,
MP3, MP2, WMA, uvm.) abgespielt werden.

This button is used to toggle between BT / USB and SD
card operation.
IMPORTANT:
the function is only available if there are this storage
media in the USB player at the same time.
Activate the BT function:
1. Press the BT/USB/SD button
until „blue“ flashes in the display
2. Search for devices in the mobile device
3. In the mobile device, select „Blue“.
If there is a connection, „blue“ lights up permanent-
ly in the display
4. Start playback on the mobile device
5. The PREV / NEXT buttons can be used to skip titles
in the mobile device
4. REPEAT
By briefly pressing the REPEAT button, „ONE“ appears
on the display and the current song is repeated. Press
again to display „ALL“ on the display and repeat all
songs on the USB flash drive.

BT-Funktion aktivieren:
1. BT/USB/SD – Taste drücken
bis „blue“ im Display blinkt
2. Im Mobilgerät nach Geräten suchen
3. Im Mobilgerät „Blue“ anwählen.
Besteht eine Verbindung leuchtet „blue“ im Display
dauerhaft
4. Wiedergabe am Mobilgerät starten
5. mit PREV/NEXT-Tasten können Titel im Mobilgerät
weitergeschaltet werden
4. REPEAT
Durch kurzes Drücken der Taste REPEAT erscheint auf
dem Display „ONE“ und das aktuelle Lied wird wieder-
holt. Durch erneutes Drücken erscheint auf dem Dis-
play „ALL“ und alle auf dem USB-Stick befindlichen
Lieder werden wiederholt.

5. PLAY/II (PAUSE)
Pressing the PLAY button starts a song.
If you press the button while a song is playing, play-
back stops.
„PAUSE“ function; Press the button again and play-
back will continue.

PREV Skip to the previous track
VOL- Decrease the volume
(by pressing the key for a long time, 1 sec.)
NEXT Skip to the next title
VOL+ Increase the volume
(by pressing the key for a long time, 1 sec.)

Pressing the MUTE button mutes the volume and the
current playback continues.
Pressing the MUTE button again playback is audible.
5. PLAY/II (PAUSE)
Durch Drücken der PLAY-Taste wird ein Lied gestartet.
Drücken Sie die Taste, während ein Lied abgespielt
wird, wird die Wiedergabe gestoppt.
„PAUSE“-Funktion; Drücken Sie die Taste erneut und
die Wiedergabe läuft weiter.

BATTERIE WECHSEL (FERNBEDIENUNG)
1. Um das Batteriefach zu öffnen, drücken Sie die Siche-
rung nach innen und ziehen bei gehaltener Sicherung
den Einsatz heraus.
2. Setzen Sie eine neue Batterie ein (Typ CR2025, 3 V)
Hinweis: bitte die richtige Polung beachten
3. Setzen Sie den Einsatz wieder in die Fernbedienung.
BATTERY CHANGE (REMOTE CONTROL)
1. To open the battery compartment,
push the fuse inward and pull out the cartridge while
holding the fuse.
2. Insert a new battery (type CR2025, 3 V)
Note: please note the correct polarity
3. Put the insert back in the remote control.
