DESCRIPTION
Red Shield Mini Twin Siren Alarm is a compact, convenient and powerful personal alarm which is easy to
carry on a key ring or fastened on a bag. The alarm sound level is 120 dB and it has two sirens that work
at different frequencies to maximise the effect when the alarm is triggered.
INSTALLATION
Inserting the batteries
The alarm is powered by 4 LR41 alkaline batteries (included).
Battery activation
Remove the transparent plastic insulation tab that sticks out from the battery compartment on the
back of the alarm.
The power supply to the alarm should be regularly checked by discretely triggering the alarm.
The batteries must be replaced when the alarm siren starts to become weak.
Battery replacement
Unscrew and remove the battery
compartment cover on the back of the alarm.
Take out the old batteries and replace them
with four new LR41 alkaline batteries. Note
the polarity symbols inside the battery
compartment.
Refit the cover and screw tight.
IMPORTANT!
Take out the batteries before storing the alarm for a prolonged period. The batteries corrode after
some time and can cause permanent damage to the unit.
Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Discharged batteries must be removed from the unit and disposed of correctly.
