Receivers use two methods of entering into their bind mode.
1. By holding down a bind button before powering up.
2. By inserting a bind plug before powering up.
Below is an example of a receiver that uses a bind button and one that uses a bind plug.

Transmitters and receivers may have unique ways of binding.
Transmitters include a button that is pressed for binding. This button may or may not be labelled “Bind.”
Below are a few examples of transmitter bind button locations. Although some are labelled differently, they are
still used in the binding process.
The radio and transmitter will arrive in your ready to run vehicle pre-bound.
It will be necessary to bind your radio and transmitter if you replace the
receiver. Each brand, or technology, of receiver may only be bound with the corresponding brand
transmitter. This is true for all brands, or technologies, of 2.4GHz radios.
