QuickLIFT Installation Guide
A. Remove the upper hood hinge nut using a 13mm socket wrench.
B. Place LH hood bracket over the upper bolt such that the ball-stud is
aiming inward as shown. Tighten down with same 13mm socket
keeping bracket parallel to hinge. All brackets are labeled in Step 1.
C. Repeat for the passenger side of vehicle (RH hood bracket).
Step 1 - Unpack QuickLIFT System and verify contents.
Step 2 - Gather the required tools.
Step 3 - Mount hood brackets

Remove all items from the packing tube. You should have the
following before beginning:

* (1) Hood RH Bracket 32-00012
* (1) Hood LH Bracket 32-00013
* (1) Bolt/washer/nut pair 55-00042
* (1) Fender LH Bracket 32-00046
* (1) Fender RH Bracket 32-00047

Step 4 - Install LH (driver’s side) lower bracket
A. Locate tab under fender
lip shown in Figure 1.
B. Place LH fender bracket
on top of fender tab shown.
Attach bracket using
bolt/washer/nut as shown.
13mm socket wrenches on
upper lower needed to
tighten assembly.
C. Be sure bracket rotates
counter clockwise and rests
tightly up against lip
(lower-side). Bracket will sit
parallel to fender.
A. Remove 10mm bolt that
attaches washer bottle.
B. Pry o the metal nut that
is attached to the top of the
washer bottle. This will not
be needed, we are replacing
with a new bolt assembly.
C. Place RH fender bracket
on top of fender tab shown
in Figure 4. Attach bracket
using bolt and washer
through the top of bracket
with nut on lower side.
13mm socket wrenches on
upper lower needed to
tighten assembly.
D. Be sure bracket rotates
clockwise and rests tightly
up against lip (lower-side).
Step 5 - Install RH (passenger side) lower bracket

E. Bracket shown in the installed position. Washer bottle is now
retained as it was before with mounting bracket on top.
Step 5 - Continued...
A. The gas springs install with the large housing attached to the TOP or hinge ball-stud. The strut extension
attaches to the fender ball-stud.
NOTE: Carefully rock the gas spring socket over the ball-stud with light pressure from the back side. This allows
the c-clip inside the end-tting to spread and wrap around the ball-stud. If you just force them on, you will bend
the c-clip inward and will need to purchase another end-tting from us (PN: 72-00002).
