There may be slight variations

• Child must face towards you until
he or she can hold head upright.
• Your balance may be adversely
affected by your movement and
that of your child.
• Take care when bending or leaning
forward or sideways
• This carrier is not suitable for use
during sporting activities.
• For low birthweight babies
and children with medical
conditions, seek advice from
a health professional before
using the product.
• Check to assure all buckles, snaps,
straps, and adjustments are secure
before each use.
• Check for ripped seams, torn straps
or fabric and damaged fasteners
before each use.
• Ensure proper placement of child in
product including leg placement.
GENERAL WARNINGS
• When using the soft carrier
monitor your child.
• Be aware of hazards in the
domestic environment, eg. Heat
sources, spilling of hot drinks.
• Stop using the carrier if parts are
missing or damaged.
• Premature infants, infants with
respiratory problems, and infants
under 4 months are at greatest risk
of suffocation.
• Never use a soft carrier when
balance or mobility is impaired
because of exercise, drowsiness,
or medical conditions.
• Never use a soft carrier while
engaging in activities such as
cooking and cleaning which
involve a heat source of exposure
to chemicals.
• Never wear a soft carrier while
driving or being a passenger in
a motor vehicle.

SUFFOCATION HAZARDS
Infant under 4 months can
suffocate in this product if face
is pressed tight against your body.
• Do not strap baby too tight
against your body.
• Allow room for head movement.
• Keep infant’s face free from
obstructions at all times.
WARNING
FALL HAZARDS
Infant can fall through a wide
leg opening or out of carrier.
• Adjust leg openings to fit
baby’s legs snugly.
• Before each use, make sure
all fasteners are secure.
• Take special care when leaning
or walking.
• Never bend at waist; bend at knees.
• Only use this carrier for children
between 3.2kg and 15kg.

Get to know your
CONNECT™
Newborn Configuration
Use the Newborn
Configuration if your baby
is between 0–4 months,
or less than 7kg.
IMPORTANT
Ensure the zipper is
properly attached.
Minimum weight of baby
when using the newborn
configuration is 3.2kg.

Configuration (page 28)
Zip on the Newborn Configuration
(Please refer to page 20 on how to
attach the Newborn Configuration).
We suggest attaching the Newborn
Configuration to the carrier for
infants weighing less than 7kg or
between 0-5 months.
TIP: The M-position
The newborn configuration helps
the baby to sit in a M-position,
where their thighs sit around
your torso with hips bent so the
knees are slightly higher than their
bottom, with their thighs supported.
The M-position is the ergonomically
correct position for babies, with
lightly spread and raised legs and
the back in a C-shape.

Facing Configuration
STEP 2
Attach the newborn
configuration to the
carrier by zipping it on.
STEP 1
Prep the carrier by
disconnecting the waist
belt and the side buckles.

Fasten the waist belt
around your waist.
Adjust the waist belt if
needed by pulling the straps
on each side away from you.

Support the baby’s head as
you lift your baby up while
placing the shoulder straps
over your head.

Face your baby towards you
and place them into the
Newborn Configuration.
Use the colour co-ordinated
buttonholes to select the
appropriate size for your baby.

Understand
Your Warranty
What is Covered?
Your 24 Month Warranty covers
manufacturing defects relating to
your baby carrier as listed below:
• All soft good seams,
bindings and zippers.
To the extent permitted by law,
the following are not covered by
warranty:
• Failure or defects resulting
from improper care or use.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Products purchased
second hand or from an
unauthorised distributor.
• Fading or discolouration of
fabrics and materials due
to cleaning and or excessive
sun exposure.
• Faulty or incorrect use of the
products by the consumer.
• Any modification or alteration
not conducted or authorised
by Redsbaby.
• Accidental or intentional
damage, abuse, or neglect.
• If the batch label has been
damaged or removed.
• Consumer dissatisfaction with
the product in terms of disliking
the fit, functionality, colour, or
style; and
• When the product has not
been used for normal use
and in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions.

24 Month Warranty
The CONNECT™ comes with
a 24 Month Warranty to cover
against faults in materials and
workmanship when your products
are used under normal conditions,
accordingly to our user manuals
and technical specifications.
To receive an additional 12 Month
Warranty, in addition to the
standard 24 Month Warranty, for
a total of 3 years, simply register
your CONNECT™ online within 60
days of receiving it.
Our goods come with guarantees
that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement,
or refund, for a major failure
and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to
have the goods replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
The 24 Month Warranty period
starts from the date your
product(s) are dispatched from our
warehouse. This includes products
that are purchased via pre-order.
For a claim to be valid, it must be
made within the claims period.
