Installation and Operation Instructions
ML4
The ML4 is a petite, covert style directional and is ideal for customers wanting to avoid visible mounting
screws. The ML4 comes as standard with a highly effective adhesive (rear only) making it only necessary
to drill a single cable entry hole to install. Considering the extremely slender depth (12mm), it is a perfect
solution for applications where space is restricted, especially inside the tailgate where a slim lamp is
required. An optional extra includes a window pod for window mounting.

Technical Information
Connecting the ML4 directionals to a vehicle battery / power source requires the black wire to be
connected to the negative (-ve) terminal, and either the red wire (V1) or the orange wire (V2) to be
connected to positive (+ve) terminal. Patterns need to be set in the same manner as the primary red wire
colour. Disconnect the red wire to set the secondary functions as desired.
To set the flash pattern:
With the ML4 powered on, the brown wire should be connected to positive (+ve) terminal from the power
source momentarily, to change to the next pattern. Either touch the wire topositive (+ve) briefly, or connect
via a momentary switch and press to change pattern.
To synchronise ML4’s:
When the desired flash pattern has been set, connect the yellow wires from each ML4 together, this will
ensure all ML4’s flash in a synchronised format. Note: Do not apply yellow wires to positive (+ve).
Do not attempt to sync Redtronic products with any other manufacturer’s products.
