CONGRATULATIONS
We would like to thank you and congratulate you for purchasing
the Reliable C81/C88 professional pressing table from
Reliable Corporation. With its powerful vacuum and up-air (C81
only) features, they will allow you to obtain the benefits of
professional pressing in a compact and convenient format.
For your safety and to fully enjoy the advantages of this
product, please take a few minutes to read all the important
safeguards and care instructions. Keep this manual handy
and review the product warranty card for your reference.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
1. Unfolding: Hold the ironing board in a vertical position with the tip downwards;
press the handle (5) placed underneath the board and lift up the working
surface by pulling with the foot outwards until the desired height is reached.
2. Unfold the boiler support (3) and place the steam generator on the shelf.
3. Insert the electrical plug into an electrical outlet.
4. Place the pedal (1) near the working area.
5. Push the on/off switch (2) on the “I” position.
6. For the C81 model, the “I” position is for the up-air (blowing) function, “O” is
neutral, and “II” is for vacuum.
7. Wait for a few minutes until the working surface is warmed up.
8. Start ironing.
9. To activate the vacuum or up-air function, simply press on the foot pedal (1).
10. You can use the vacuum or the blowing function at the same time as you are
ironing, or you can use it after the ironing (for very light fabrics this may be the
preferred way).
11. At the end of the ironing we suggest you leave the on/off switch (2) on for a
few minutes to ensure the inside of the table is dry and free of condensation.
12. Folding: turn the on/off switch (2) off, remove the plug from the outlet. Take
the boiler and the iron off of the boiler support (3), fold the boiler support
(3), and make sure there is no garment on the working surface and/or on the
catch tray (4).
13. As soon as the working surface is cool, position the ironing board vertically
with the tip downwards, press the handle (5) placed under the working sur-
face and at the same time pull the legs (6) inward.

ATTENTION
IMPORTANT: When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the
garbage.Instead, go to your closest recycling station or waste collection centre
for subsequent treatment. In this way, you will be contributing to looking after
the environment.

MAINTENANCE
We suggest checking the ironing board cover (7) periodically and, if it is necessary,
replacing it with an original one (part #C81CR).

LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY
For a period of one year from date of purchase we will, free of charge, repair defects
in material or workmanship which appear in the mechanical or electrical parts of all
Reliable™ brand products excluding all wear and tear components.
Wear & Tear Component List:
• Steam Equipment: press pad and cover, Teflon® seals, Teflon® shoe,
steam-electric hoses
• Sewing Equipment: hooks, loopers, stitch plates, feed dogs, needles,
motor clutch disc, brushes
• Cloth Cutting Equipment: blades, stones, sharpening bands, shoe
LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY
For a period of 90 days from date of purchase we will, free of charge, provide required
adjustments and repairs to your Reliable™ product.
Warranty service is available by returning the product with this warranty document and
proof of purchase to your nearest authorized Reliable™ service center.
This limited warranty is in effect provided that your product is used for normal purposes
for which it was intended, and is given reasonable good care and maintenance in
accordance with the instructions contained in the instruction booklet.
Your authorized dealer (or Reliable Corporation) will not be held responsible for damage
if the machine has been repaired by an unauthorized dealer.
These warranties give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary
from province/state to province/state.

résultats de pressage professionnel dans un format compacte
et pratique.
Pour votre sécurité et afin de profiter pleinement des avantages
de ce produit, veuillez prendre quelques minutes pour lire
toutes les mesures de sécurité importantes et les instructions
d’entretien. Gardez ce manuel à portée de la main et révisez

INSTRUCTIONS D’ASSEMBLAGE
ET D’UTILISATION
LISEZ TOUTES LES INSTRUCTIONS AVANT L’UTILISATION
1. Dépliez : Tenez la planche à repasser verticalement, le bout vers le bas; appuyez
sur la poignée (5) située en-dessous de la planche et soulevez la surface de
travail en tirant avec le pied vers vous. Soulevez à la hauteur désirée.
2. Dépliez le support de la chaudière (3) et placez le générateur de vapeur sur
la tablette.
3. Insérez la fiche d’alimentation électrique dans la prise de courant.
4. Installez la pédale (1) près de la surface de travail.
5. Poussez le commutateur marche/arrêt (2) à la position « I ».
6. Pour le modèle C81, la position « I » est pour la fonction de soufflerie, « O » pour le
neutre et « II » est pour l’aspiration.
7. Attendez quelques minutes, le temps que la surface de travail se réchauffe.
8. Commencez à repasser.
9. Pour activer la fonction d’aspiration ou de soufflerie, appuyez simplement sur
la pédale (1).
10. Vous pouvez utiliser la fonction d’aspiration ou de soufflerie en même temps que
vous repassez, ou vous pouvez l’utiliser après le repassage (pour les tissus très
délicats cela pourrait être préférable).
11. À la fin du repassage, nous vous suggérons de laisser le commutateur marche/
arrêt (2) en position de marche pendant quelques minutes, afin de vous assurer
que l’intérieur de la planche soit sec et sans condensation.
12. Pliage : Tournez le commutateur marche/arrêt (2) à la position arrêt, retirez la
fiche d’alimentation de la prise de courant. Retirez la bouilloire et le fer du support
(3), pliez le support (3) et assurez-vous qu’aucun vêtement n’est présent sur la
surface de travail et/ou sur le bac de récupération (4).
13. Dès que la surface de travail a refroidit, installez la planche de repassage
verticalement, le bout vers le bas, appuyez sur la poignée (5) située sous la
surface de travail et en même temps appuyez sur l’intérieur des pattes (6).

ATTENTION
IMPORTANT : Lorsque vous désirez vous départir de l’appareil, NE JAMAIS le
jeter aux ordures. Rendez-vous plutôt à votre centre de recyclage le plus près
ou centre d’enlèvement des ordures ménagères pour un traitement adéquat.
De cette façon, vous contribuerez à protéger l’environnement.
