INTRODUCTION
You now own one of the most advanced home water ltration systems available
anywhere. The Aqua ✓Nano utilizes electropositive technology as part of a multi-
stage, high ow ltering system with limited pressure drop.
CC (Carbon Core) Cartridge
• Stage 1: Pre-Filtration - The Pre-Filter removes larger suspended solids to help
maximize the life of your NanoCeram® Cartridge.
• Stage 2: Electropositive Filtration - The second stage utilizes NanoCeram®
patented electropositive ltration media with ltration eciency and dirt-holding
capacity for particles as small as a nanometer or .001 micron.
• Stage 3: Advanced Carbon Block Technology - The third stage utilizes carbon
block technology and a special sorbent media to absorb and reduce chlorine, lead,
tastes and odors.
LP Cartridge (for Low Pressure situations)
• Stage 1: Pre-Filtration - The Pre-Filter removes larger suspended solids to help
maximize the life of your NanoCeram® Cartridge.
• Stage 2: Electropositive Filtration - The second stage utilizes NanoCeram®
patented electropositive ltration media with ltration eciency and dirt-holding
capacity for particles as small as a nanometer, or .001 micron.
The LP Cartridge comes without a carbon core and has twice as much NanoCeram®
for greater particulate holding capacity and very minimal ow restriction.
NOTE: The LP Cartridge WILL reduce chlorine, but it will NOT reduce dissolved lead.
The Aqua ✓ Nano is equipped with an electronic ow meter to advise you when to
reorder and to replace the NanoCeram® Cartridge.

FEATURES
• The Aqua ✓ Nano is designed for convenient counter-top use.
• It lters equally well while running either hot or cold water through the system.
• The Aqua ✓ Nano features a unique exible wand with spray and stream modes so
you can direct the ow of water where you want it. This makes it easier to ll bottles
and containers and to rinse vegetables and fruits.
• To ensure your supply of ltered water is uninterrupted, a visual ow meter indicates
when it is time to replace the NanoCeram® Cartridge.
• Both the NanoCeram® Cartridge and Pre-Filter Cartridge are easily replaced.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
∆ WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown
quality without adequate disinfection. Always replace the NanoCeram® lter cartridge
when the indicator light turns red.
• This lter is engineered to lter municipally treated water in the home.
• It is essential that you follow the operation and maintenance instructions enclosed
for proper performance. Failure to follow the Use and Care instructions will void the
warranty.
• Do not use with water over 57˚ C (135˚F) or below 4˚C (40˚F).
Capacity
The Aqua ✓Nano’s NanoCeram® Cartridge has a maximum capacity of one year or
11,355 liters (3,000 gallons), whichever occurs rst. The cartridge must be replaced
when the indicator light ashes red. Actual capacity will depend on the amount of
suspended solids and particles in your local water system. In certain water supplies,
tastes or odors may return or the ow may decrease prior to the rated capacity. In
these cases, the NanoCeram® Cartridge should be replaced more often.
Note: Contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment
device are not necessarily in your water.

SETUP
Remove all items from shipping boxes, remove packing materials, and compare box
contents with the product diagram (Figure 1.)
1. Remove the Cover from the base assembly.
2. Install two new, high quality, AA batteries (not included) with an expiration date of
at least one year beyond the day of installation in the battery compartment located
in the Base.
3. Remove any protective plastic materials from both the NanoCeram® Cartridge
(packed in a separate box) and the Pre-Filter.
4. Install the NanoCeram® Cartridge by placing it on the Base Locking Plate (with label
facing up); turn Cartridge clockwise slightly to lock.

5. Place the Pre-Filter Cartridge, with label facing up, on top of the NanoCeram®
Cartridge; turn Cartridge clockwise slightly to lock.

6. Place the Inlet Assembly on top of the Pre-Filter Cartridge; rotate the Inlet Assembly
approximately 1/8 turn clockwise so that the tubing is in line with the Wand’s stem.
8. Thread the Diverter Valve onto the faucet;“hand–tighten”only. Do not over tighten
as it could damage the threads. (Note: If the diverter valve is not compatible with
your faucet, contact Rena Ware Customer Service for assistance.)
7. Using padded or locking pliers, remove the existing aerator from your faucet.
Remove the protective wrapping from the Diverter Valve assembly.



9. Place the Aqua ✓ Nano on a at counter surface near the sink. With the Wand
pointing outward over the sink, turn on the water and divert it through the lter
by turning the lever on the Diverter Valve 90°. Check for leaks. To stop the ow
through the lter, turn o the faucet or turn the lever in the opposite direction.
10. If needed, adjust the hose length between the Inlet Assembly and the Diverter
Valve to accommodate the cover. To make it longer, feed the tubing into the base
from the Diverter Valve end and pull it out at the inlet end.
To make it shorter, feed the tubing into the Base from the inlet end and pull it out
the diverter end. Do not pull the tubing too tightly over the lter cartridges as this
may restrict ow.
11. Place the cover on the base assembly.
12. Run water through the lter for 5 minutes to remove any small carbon particles and
expel excess air.
CHARGING THE SYSTEM: To improve the ow rate and to reduce the “run on” of
water after the faucet is turned o the system needs to be“charged”. Charging purges
trapped air from the system.
a. Run water through the system for about a minute to saturate the media.
Remove the pre-lter cartridge being careful to minimize the water that
spills onto the base unit.
b. Pour water into the top hole
to ll the NanoCeram® cartridge.
c. Re-install the pre-lter cartridge and again pour in water into the top hole of
the pre-lter cartridge until it is full.
Your Rena Ware Aqua ✓Nano Water Filter is now ready for you to enjoy!

Optional Stage Zero Filter
In areas where the amount of sediments in the water is very high,
the Pre-Filter cartridge can clog quicker than expected. The Stage
Zero external lter removes the larger particles to prevent this from
happening.
It can be easily back-ushed and replaced to allow your Aqua ✓ Nano
system to lter the very small things it was designed to remove and
let you go longer between Pre-Filter back-ushes and NanoCeram®
cartridge replacements.
OPERATION
• Switch between ltered and unltered water using the Diverter Valve lever.
• When the lever is pointing down, unltered water will come out of your regular
faucet.
• For ltered water, move the lever up 90°.
• Control the temperature with your regular faucet handle.
• The lter indicator will ash blue when the lter is functioning properly.
• The Wand will dispense water in either a steady stream or a spray. Rotate the collar
at the end of the Wand to switch between stream and spray modes.
NOTE: For best results, after sitting overnight or after several hours of non-use, run
water through the lter for 1 MINUTE before using.
Unltered Filtered
CARE/MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Exterior of the Aqua ✓Nano
To clean the exterior of your faucet, lter cartridges, and base unit, use a clean,
damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive liquid soap. Do not use dishwashing soap. Rinse
thoroughly with warm water.
Note: Do not submerge the base unit or let stand in water. Excessive moisture
inside the unit will damage it and void the warranty.
Use of polish, detergents, abrasives, cleaners, organic solvents, or acid may cause
damage. USE OF OTHER THAN A DAMP SOFT CLOTH AND MILD LIQUID SOAP
WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
Replacement Indicator Lights
Your Aqua ✓ Nano features a visual ow meter integrated into the base of the faucet.
When water is owing through your lter, LED (light emitting diode) lights will ash to
indicate the following:
• FILTERING The blue light indicates that the unit is functioning normally.
• REORDER The yellow warning light lets you know approximately 1,893 liters
(500 gallons) of life is left in the NanoCeram® Cartridge. Contact your Rena Ware
Consultant or Rena Ware Customer Service Center to order a replacement. The
blue FILTERING light also indicates that your lter is still working.
• REPLACE The red warning light indicates the NanoCeram® Cartridge’s eective
life has ended. The blue FILTERING light will not illuminate. Replace the
NanoCeram® Cartridge before continuing to use your lter.

Maintaining the Pre-Filter Cartridge
Back-Flushing
You should back-ush the Pre-Filter (up to three times) when a signicant reduction
in ow occurs. The disposable EM Media Insert should be replaced if back-ushing the
Pre-Filter fails to restore acceptable ow.
IMPORTANT: NEVER BACK-FLUSH THE NANOCERAM® CARTRIDGE.
Back-ushing the NanoCeram® Cartridge will damage its internal structure, causing
the lter to become ineective. Back-ushing can also contaminate the downstream
media of the NanoCeram® so that it will no longer lter properly.
Note: The back-ushing process requires two people.
1. Make sure the water is turned o.
2. Remove the back-ow adapter from the Inlet Assembly.
3. Remove the Inlet Assembly by turning it counterclockwise until it releases.
4. Remove the Pre-Filter Cartridge from the NanoCeram® Cartridge by turning it
counterclockwise until it releases.


5. Invert the Pre-Filter cartridge and place the Back-Flow Adaptor on the outlet nipple
of the Pre-Filter.
6. Insert the outlet nipple of the Inlet Assembly into the other end of the Back-Flush
Adapter and keep pressure on it. Hold the inverted Pre-Filter over the sink, a
bucket or some other receptacle that can hold at least 2 gallons (7.5 liters).
7. Have a second person turn on the water. When the water is turned on, there will be
a small amount of back pressure forcing the Inlet Assembly out of the Back-Flush
Adapter so you must hold the Inlet Assembly, Back-Flush Adapter, and Pre-Filter
together to keep pressure on it and keep them from coming apart.
8. Allow the water to run for 5 minutes, shake the cartridge and tap it against the sink
until the ow rate has increased

Cleaning or Replacing the Media Insert
Clean the Media Insert regularly between replacements to extend the life of the
cartridge.
To clean:
1. Open the housing by turning the top counterclockwise.
2. Temporarily reconnect the inlet assembly to the lter base. Wash the reusable
housing and rinse o the media insert with water and dry. When washing the media
mild rubbing is acceptable. Do not scrub the exterior of the media too hard as it can
be damaged permanently. DO NOT USE SOAP.
3. After cleaning, insert the Media with the outlet nipple pointing down and the
punt up.

NOTE: Back-ushing and rinsing will improve ow but will not restore the Pre-Filter
Cartridge to “like new” condition. The improvement will be less each time you back-
ush and rinse, until it is necessary to replace the Pre-Filter Cartridge to restore the
ow rate to an acceptable level.
Maintaining The NanoCeram® Cartridge
IMPORTANT: NEVER BACKFLUSH THE NANOCERAM® CARTRIDGE.
Back-ushing the NanoCeram® cartridge will damage its internal structure, causing
the lter to become ineective. Back-ushing can also contaminate the downstream
media of the NanoCeram® so that it will no longer lter properly.
Replacing the NanoCeram® Cartridge
NOTE: The Pre-Filter and the NanoCeram® are not necessarily replaced at the same
time. The led indicator lights refer only to the NanoCeram® cartridge. Replace it when
the ow meter’s red warning light ashes. It will also be time to replace the batteries.
1. Disconnect the NanoCeram® cartridge by removing the lter assembly and pre-lter
cartridge. Turn the NanoCeram® cartridge counterclockwise until it releases. Discard
the used cartridge.
4. Close the housing by turning the top clockwise until the arrows marked on the
housing are almost aligned and reinstall.

2. Remove the battery compartment door in the bottom of the base by unscrewing
the two screws and by gently prying the door open using a at screwdriver.
3. Remove the old batteries, wait 20 seconds, and then replace with two new, high
quality, AA batteries with an expiration date of at least one year beyond the day of
installation. This will reset the ow meter to“0”and the LED lights will start ashing
again when water is owing through the lter.
4. Install a new cartridge and charge it. (See“SETUP” section).
5. Run water for 2 minutes to remove any carbon particles and expel trapped air.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Water is not coming out of the wand.
• Turn the diverter valve to the “on”position.
• Make sure the tubing is smooth and straight, without kinks.
Water leaks out of between lter cartridges or at the lter inlet assembly or lter
base.
• Separate the cartridges at the point of the leak. Each of the cartridges, and the
lter inlet, should have two o-rings on the raised outlet found on the bottom of
the cartridge. Check to ensure that the o-rings are in place and properly seated in
the grooves provided for them.
Water leaks from the tubing.
• Check the tubing for cuts or nicks.
Water continues to ow out of the wand after water is turned o.
• Water may continue to ow from the wand for a short time due to a build-up
of pressure within the lter. It will typically stop by itself. You may also turn the
diverter valve lever to the o position to activate your tap water faucet, which will
reduce water coming from the wand.
• Trapped air in the lter may force water out after the tap has been turned o.
To eliminate trapped air, follow the steps listed under the topic “CHARGING THE
SYSTEM”.
Lights on the base do not work.
• Make sure the batteries are properly installed. (See step 2 under“SETUP”. )
The electronic ow meter stops functioning.
Reset the meter by using the following procedure:
1. Remove the battery compartment door in the bottom of the base by unscrewing
the two screws and by gently prying the door open using a at screwdriver at the
point shown in the diagram. See“Replacing the NanoCeram® Cartridge”(step 2).
2. Remove the old batteries, wait 20 seconds, and then replace with two new high
quality AA batteries.
3. Replace the NanoCeram® lter cartridge, (see“Maintaining NanoCeram®
Cartridge”section). The unit will reset to its default settings.

WARRANTY
The Aqua ✓Nano Limited Warranty
Rena Ware warrants its AquaNano water ltration systems to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
This Product is for home use on municipally treated water only. The Warranty does
not cover damage resulting from use of the Product on water having high chemical
interference, suspended materials or visual solids. The Warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear of valving connections, o-rings, rubber and plastic parts, or lter
cartridges.
The Warranty does not cover defects resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence,
accident, use of the Product in a manner other than as described in the instructions
and on the specications label, repairs or alteration outside a Rena Ware facility, or lack
of maintenance. Use of replacement parts other than genuine Rena Ware replacement
parts or removal of the specications label will void this Warranty. The Warranty does
not cover incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this Product.
Remedy in the Event of Warranty Claim
At its option, Rena Ware will repair or replace a Product, or any part thereof, which
is determined to be defective. If a replacement is made, the Product for which the
replacement is made becomes the property of Rena Ware. This remedy shall be the
exclusive remedy available.
To Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, send a detailed written description of the claimed defect to
the closest Rena Ware Service Center. You may be required to return the Product, at your
expense, to the nearest Rena Ware Service Center in order to obtain warranty service.
You may also be required to provide proof of purchase. If, after inspection, Rena Ware
determines that a covered defect exists, Rena Ware will bear the cost of return delivery.
Other Warranty Limitations
This Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Any implied warranty shall
be equal in duration to the above express Warranty.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the
above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specic
legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
This Warranty applies to AquaNano water ltration systems only. Separate warranties
apply to other Rena Ware products.

INTRODUCCIÓN

Cartucho CC (núcleo de carbono)
• Etapa 1: Preltración

INSTALACIÓN
Saque todas las piezas de sus cajas, retire los materiales de embalaje y compare el
contenido de las cajas con el diagrama del producto (Figura 1).
1. Retire la carcasa de la base del ltro.
2. Instale dos baterías AA nuevas (no incluidas) de buena calidad en la base del ltro.
La fecha de vencimiento debe ser superior a un año como mínimo después de la
instalación.
3. Quite la envoltura plástica protectora del cartucho NanoCeram® (empacado
individualmente) y del preltro.
4. Para instalar el cartucho NanoCeram®, sujételo con la etiqueta hacia arriba,
colóquelo en la placa de seguridad que está en la base y gírelo levemente en
sentido horario.

5. Para instalar el cartucho del preltro, insértelo sobre el cartucho NanoCeram®, con la
etiqueta hacia arriba, y gírelo levemente en sentido horario hasta que calce bien.

6. Instale la caja de entrada sobre el cartucho del preltro, gírela 1/8 aproximadamente
en sentido horario para que la manguera esté alineada con la boquilla de la varilla.
8. Enrosque la válvula de desviación al grifo y apriétela solo con la mano. No la apriete
demasiado, ya que podría dañar las ranuras. (Nota: Si la válvula de desviación no es
compatible con su grifo, comuníquese con el Servicio al Cliente de Rena Ware).
7. Con la ayuda de un alicate o alicate de sujeción, retire el aireador instalado en su
grifo. Retire la película protectora de la válvula de desviación.



10. Si lo necesita, ajuste la longitud de la manguera entre la caja de entrada y la válvula
de desviación para colocar la carcasa. Para alargarla, pase la manguera a través
de la base por el extremo de la válvula de desviación y sáquela por el extremo de
entrada.
Para acortarla, pase la manguera a través de la base por el extremo de entrada y
sáquela por el extremo de la válvula de desviación. No hale mucho la manguera por
encima de los cartuchos del ltro, ya que podría afectar el ujo.
11. Coloque la carcasa nuevamente sobre la base.
12. Deje correr agua durante 5 minutos para eliminar partículas pequeñas de carbono y
exceso de aire.
9. Coloque el Aqua ✓ Nano sobre una supercie plana del tope de la cocina cerca
del fregadero. Con la varilla apuntando hacia afuera del fregadero, abra la llave de
agua y desvíela hacia el ltro girando la palanca de la válvula de desviación 90º.
Compruebe que no haya fugas de agua. Para detener el ujo por el ltro, cierre la
llave de agua o gire la palanca de la válvula de desviación en dirección contraria.
CARGA DEL SISTEMA: Para mejorar el ujo y reducir la “fuga”de agua luego de cerrar
la llave, se debe “cargar”el sistema, ya que esto purga el aire atrapado en él.
a. Deje correr agua por el sistema durante un minuto aproximadamente para
saturar el cartucho. Saque el cartucho del preltro con cuidado para que no
caiga agua sobre la base de la unidad.
b. Vierta agua por el oricio superior
para llenar el cartucho NanoCeram®.
c. Vuelva a instalar el cartucho del preltro y vierta agua nuevamente por su
oricio superior hasta llenarlo.

Filtro Etapa Cero opcional
En áreas donde la acumulación de sedimentos en el agua es
muy alta, el cartucho del preltro puede obstruirse más rápido
de lo esperado. El ltro externo Etapa Cero ayuda a prevenir
esto, ya que atrapa las partículas más grandes.
Se puede lavar con ujo invertido a presión y reemplazar
fácilmente para que su sistema Aqua ✓Nano ltre las
partículas más pequeñas, para lo que fue diseñado, y espaciar
más los lavados con ujo invertido a presión del preltro y
reemplazos del cartucho NanoCeram®.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
• Mueva la palanca de la válvula de desviación para cambiar de agua sin ltrar a agua
ltrada y vice versa.
• Cuando la palanca mire hacia abajo, saldrá agua sin ltrar de su grifo.
• Mueva la palanca 90° grados para obtener agua ltrada.
• Controle la temperatura con la manilla de su grifo regular.
• La luz azul que indica ltración titilará cuando el ltro esté funcionando
correctamente.
• Por la varilla puede salir agua en modo lluvia o chorro. Gire el collarín ubicado en el
borde de la varilla para cambiar de modo lluvia a chorro.

NOTA: Para obtener mejores resultados, a primera hora del día o después de varias
horas sin uso, deje que el agua corra por el ltro durante UN MINUTO antes de usarlo.
CUIDADO/MANTENIMIENTO
Luces indicadoras de reemplazo
Su Aqua ✓ Nano incluye un medidor de ujo visual en la base del grifo. Cuando el
agua uya por su ltro, luces LED (diodo emisor de luz) titilarán para indicar:
• FILTERING FILTRAR: La luz azul indica que la unidad funciona correctamente.
• REORDER ORDENAR: La luz amarilla indica que le quedan aproximadamente
1.893 litros (500 galones) de vida útil al cartucho NanoCeram®. Comuníquese
con su Asesor Rena Ware o con el Centro de Servicio Rena Ware para ordenar
repuestos. La luz azul“FILTERING”también indica que su ltro está funcionando.
• REPLACE REEMPLAZAR: La luz roja indica que la vida efectiva del cartucho
NanoCeram® ha expirado. La luz azul “FILTERING”no se encenderá. Reemplace el
cartucho NanoCeram® antes de volver a usar su ltro.
Limpieza exterior del Aqua ✓Nano
Use un trapo limpio húmedo y jabón neutro no abrasivo para limpiar la parte exterior
de su grifo, los cartuchos del ltro y la base de la unidad. No use lavaplatos. Enjuague
bien con agua tibia.
Nota: No sumerja ni asiente la unidad en agua. La humedad excesiva en el interior
de la unidad la dañará y anulará la garantía.
El uso de pulituras, detergentes, abrasivos, limpiadores, solventes orgánicos o ácido
puede dañar la unidad. USAR IMPLEMENTOS DISTINTOS A UN TRAPO LIMPIO
HÚMEDO Y JABÓN NEUTRO ANULARÁ LA GARANTÍA.

Mantenimiento del cartucho del preltro
Lavado con ujo invertido a presión
Cuando el ujo de agua disminuya signicativamente, debe lavar el preltro con ujo
invertido a presión (hasta tres veces). El elemento desechable EM se debe reemplazar
cuando el lavado con ujo invertido a presión no restaure el ujo de agua adecuado.
IMPORTANTE: NUNCA LAVE EL CARTUCHO NANOCERAM® CON FLUJO
INVERTIDO A PRESIÓN.
Lavar el cartucho NanoCeram® con ujo invertido a presión dañará y contaminará su
estructura interna y el ltro perderá su efectividad, por lo que dejará de ltrar agua.
Nota: Se necesitan dos personas para realizar este procedimiento.
1. Asegúrese de que la llave de agua esté cerrada.
2. Retire el adaptador de ujo invertido de la caja de entrada.
3. Retire la caja de entrada girándola en sentido antihorario, hasta que se aoje.
4. Retire el cartucho del preltro del cartucho NanoCeram® girándolo en sentido
antihorario, hasta que se aoje.


5. Voltee el cartucho del preltro y coloque el adaptador de ujo invertido sobre la
boquilla de salida del preltro.
6. Inserte la boquilla de salida de la caja de entrada en el extremo contrario del
adaptador de ujo invertido y ejerza presión sobre este. Sostenga el preltro
invertido sobre el fregadero, un balde/cubeta u otro contenedor de al menos
2 galones (7,5 litros) de capacidad.
7. Pida a la otra persona que abra la llave de agua. Cuando esté abierta, un poco de
contrapresión tratará de sacar la caja de entrada del adaptador de ujo invertido,
por lo que deberá mantener juntas la caja de entrada, el adaptador de ujo
invertido y el preltro, ejerciendo presión sobre ellos para evitar que se separen.
8. Deje correr agua por cinco minutos, sacuda el cartucho y dele golpecitos contra el
fregadero hasta que el ujo haya aumentado.

Limpieza o reemplazo del elemento desechable
Para extender la vida del elemento desechable, límpielo con frecuencia antes de
reemplazarlo.
Cómo limpiarlo:
1. Abra el alojamiento girándolo en sentido antihorario.
2. Reconecte la caja de entrada temporalmente a la base del ltro. Lave el alojamiento
reusable y enjuague el elemento desechable con agua y séquelo. Cuando lave
el elemento, puede frotarlo suavemente. No restriegue el exterior del elemento
demasiado fuerte, ya que podría dañarse permanentemente. NO USE JABÓN.
3. Después de limpiar el elemento desechable, insértelo con la boquilla de salida
hacia abajo y el fondo cónico hacia arriba.

NOTA: El lavado con ujo invertido a presión y el enjuague mejorarán el ujo, pero
no harán que el cartucho del preltro quede“como nuevo”. El ujo mejorará cada vez
menos, hasta que sea necesario reemplazar el cartucho del preltro para restaurar el
ujo a un nivel aceptable.
Mantenimiento del cartucho NanoCeram®
IMPORTANTE: NUNCA LAVE EL CARTUCHO NANOCERAM® CON FLUJO
INVERTIDO A PRESIÓN.
Lavar el cartucho NanoCeram® con ujo invertido a presión dañará y contaminará su
estructura interna y el ltro perderá su efectividad, por lo que dejará de ltrar agua.
Reemplazo del cartucho NanoCeram®
NOTA: El preltro y el NanoCeram® no se remplazan necesariamente al mismo tiempo,
y las luces LED solo indican el estado del cartucho NanoCeram®. Reemplácelo cuando
titile la luz roja del medidor de ujo. También será el momento de reemplazar las
baterías.
1. Desconecte el cartucho NanoCeram® retirando la caja de entrada y el cartucho del
preltro. Gire el cartucho NanoCeram® en sentido antihorario hasta que se aoje.
Deseche el cartucho usado.
4. Cierre el alojamiento girando la parte superior en sentido antihorario, hasta que las
echas marcadas en el mismo estén prácticamente alineadas, y reinstálelo.

2. Retire la tapa del compartimiento de baterías que está en la parte inferior de la
base, desatornillando los dos tornillos y levantando la tapa con cuidado con un
destornillador punta plana.
3. Retire las baterías usadas, espere 20 segundos y luego instale dos baterías AA
nuevas de buena calidad que venzan como mínimo al año de instaladas. Esto
reinicializará el medidor de ujo en“0” y las luces LED titilarán nuevamente cuando
se haga correr agua por el ltro.
4. Instale un cartucho nuevo y cárguelo. Consulte la sección“INSTALACIÓN”.
5. Deje correr agua por dos minutos para eliminar cualquier partícula de carbono y aire
atrapado.
RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
No sale agua por la varilla.
• Gire la válvula de desviación a la posición“activada”.’
• Asegúrese de que la manguera esté holgada y recta, sin torceduras.
Sale agua entre los cartuchos del ltro, o en la caja de entrada del ltro o en la
base del ltro.
• Separe los cartuchos donde exista la fuga de agua. Ambos cartuchos y la entrada
del ltro deberían tener dos juntas tóricas en la salida alta que se encuentra en la
parte inferior del cartucho. Compruebe que las juntas tóricas estén en su lugar y
bien colocadas en las ranuras correspondientes.
Hay una fuga de agua en la manguera.
• Asegúrese de que la manguera no esté rota ni tenga hendiduras.
Sigue saliendo agua por el grifo después de cerrar la llave de agua.
• Puede seguir saliendo agua por la varilla durante corto tiempo debido a la presión
contenida en el ltro, pero dejará de salir. También puede girar la palanca de la
válvula de desviación a la posición de“desactivada” para que el agua salga por el
grifo, lo que reducirá la cantidad de agua que salga por la varilla.
• El aire contenido en el ltro puede hacer que salga agua después de haber
cerrado la llave de agua. Para eliminar el aire retenido, siga las instrucciones de
“CARGA DEL SISTEMA”.
Las luces de la base no funcionan.
• Asegúrese de que las baterías estén bien instaladas. (Vea el paso 2 de
“INSTALACIÓN”).
El medidor de ujo electrónico ya no funciona.
Reinicie el medidor con uno de estos procedimientos:
1. Retire la tapa del compartimiento de baterías que está en la parte inferior de
la base, desatornillando los dos tornillos y levantando la tapa con cuidado con
un destornillador punta plana en el lugar en que se indica en el dibujo. Vea
“Reemplazo del cartucho NanoCeram® (paso 2).
2. Retire las baterías usadas, espere 20 segundos y luego instale dos baterías AA
nuevas de buena calidad.
3. Reemplace el cartucho del ltro NanoCeram®, (vea la sección“Mantenimiento del
cartucho NanoCeram®”). La unidad tendrá el ajuste de fábrica.

Rena Ware garantiza que sus sistemas de ltración de agua Aqua ✓Nano están libres
de defectos de materiales y de fabricación durante un año contado a partir de la fecha
de compra.
Este producto se debe usar en los hogares con agua tratada por el municipio solamente.
Esta garantía no cubre daños que resulten del uso del producto con agua que tenga
mucha interferencia química, materiales suspendidos o partículas sólidas visibles. Esta
garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de las conexiones de válvulas, juntas tóricas,
piezas de caucho o plástico ni cartuchos del ltro.
Esta garantía no cubre los defectos que resulten del uso inadecuado, abuso, negligencia,
accidentes,usodel producto de unmododiferenteal que se describeenlas instrucciones
y en la etiqueta de las especicaciones, reparaciones o alteraciones efectuadas fuera
de los locales de Rena Ware, o por falta de mantenimiento. Usar piezas de reemplazo
que no sean piezas de reemplazo verdaderas de Rena Ware o quitar la etiqueta de las
especicaciones cancelará esta garantía. Esta garantía no cubre los daños incidentales
o consecuentes que resulten del uso de este producto.
Alcance de la garantía
Según lo estime conveniente, Rena Ware reparará o reemplazará el producto, o
cualquier parte del mismo, que haya sido determinado como defectuoso. Si se efectúa
el reemplazo, el producto por el que se hizo el reemplazo pasará a ser propiedad de
Rena Ware. Este recurso será el único disponible.
Modo de efectuar la garantía

del defecto alegado al Centro de Servicio Rena Ware más cercano. Tal vez se le solicite
que devuelva el producto, por su cuenta, al Centro de Servicio Rena Ware más cercano
con el objeto de brindarle el servicio bajo la garantía. Tal vez se le solicite también que
proporcione una constancia de su compra. Si después de la inspección, Rena Ware
determina que existe un defecto cubierto por la garantía, Rena Ware asumirá el costo
de la devolución del producto.
