Maintenance
Before using the crimping tool, make sure it is in a clean and proper operating state. Always remove crimping
residue. Protect the joints from soiling and apply light machine oil to them regularly. Check the bolts regularly
to ensure that the lock washers and headless screw, securing the adjustment dial, are intact and tight. All
other maintenance should be performed by the manufacturer.

Allgemeines
Die Abisolierzange für Spezialanwendungen entspricht dem neuesten Stand der Technik und den anerkannten
sicherheitstechnischen Regeln. Sie darf nur in technisch-einwandfreiem Zustand sowie sicherheits- und
gefahrenbewusst benutzt werden.
Die Abisolierzange ist nur für den in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschriebenen Zweck zu verwenden. Eine eigenmächtige
Veränderung oder eine nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung der
Abisolierzange schließt eine Haftung des Herstellers für daraus
resultierende Schäden aus.
Verwendungszweck
Die Abisolierzange für Spezialanwendungen ermöglicht ein qualitativ hochwertiges beschädigungsfreies
Abisolieren und Abmanteln aller Elektroeinzel- und Mehrleiterkabel von 0,03 bis 16 mm2 (AWG 32 - 6). Sie ist
u.a. für Hybridkabel bis zu einem Durchmesser von 10mm und für Teflon-Kabel bis zu 2 mm2Querschnitt
geeignet. Sie ist einsetzbar unabhängig von der Festigkeit des Isolationsmaterial. Durch Sondermesser ist die
Abisolierzange für die Systemverarbeitung einsetzbar (Hybridaußenmantel und Innenisolierung, Flachbandkabel
usw.).
Beschreibung der Zange
Die Abisolierzange „Universal“ besteht aus einer festen Grundplatte und einer schwenkbaren Grundplatte, den
Messeraufnahmen 1bis 4, dem Messerblock mit Messer 5bis 8(mit Kennzeichnung der zu bearbeitenden
Querschnitte), einer Kabelführung (nur für Messersatz 607 201 3 0 für Teflon-Kabel 0,03 bis 2,08 mm²
vorgesehen), einem Klemmschutz 9und einem Längenanschlag 10 für Abisolierlängen von 3 bis 25 mm.

Operation
(A) Adjust length stop 10 to the required stripping length.
(B) Item 607 201 3: insert the cable into cable guiding 9acc. to wire size.
(C) Place the cable properly by using the length stop 10.
(D) Close the tool, thus the blades 5...8approach the cable to be stripped.
(E) The insulation is incised and stripped off.
(F) Open the tool again and remove the cable

Exchanging of blades
(G) Release Allan screw 11.
(H) Close the tool and remove the blades 5...8(always exchange the blades by pairs).
(I) Attach the new blades 5...8 onto the retention pins 12 of the blade locations 1...4(polished part
internally), afterwards open the tool.
(J) Tighten the Allen screw 11 to secure the blades

Wartung und Instandhaltung
Die Abisolierzange für Spezialanwendungen muss vor Arbeitsbeginn in einem ordnungsgemäßen und sauberen
Zustand sein. Die Gelenke sind regelmäßig mit leichtem Maschinenöl zu ölen und vor Verschmutzung zu
schützen. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass alle Bolzen durch Sicherungsringe gesichert sind.
Reparaturen an der Vierdorncrimpzange sind grundsätzlich vom
Zangenhersteller vorzunehmen.

Application
High-quality stripping and dismantling of all single- and multi-wire cables, especially of Teflon insulated cables,
applicable for wire sizes 0.03 to 16.0 mm² (AWG 32 - 6). In multi-wire applications, hybrid cables up to Ø 10
mm can be dismantled. Special-purpose blades provide entire project solutions (to strip cables with outer
sheath and different insulated cables inside, flat flexible cables, solar cables, etc.)
Description of tool
The stripper consists of a solid base plate and a pivoted base plate, locations to fix the blades 1 to 4, the blade
pairs 5 and 6 as well as 7 and 8 (which are marked with the resp. wire sizes to be worked), a cable guiding 9
(only for item 607 201 3 0, blade set for Teflon cable 0.03-2.08 mm²), and a length stop 10 for stripping
length 3 to 25 mm.
Funktionsweise
(A) Längenanschlag 10 auf gewünschte Abisolierlänge einstellen.
(B) Kabelquerschnitt der entsprechenden Kabelführung zuordnen (607 201 6).
(C) Kabel gegen Längenanschlag 10 einlegen.
(D) Zange schließen. Dabei bewegen sich die Messer 5bis 8auf das abzuisolierende Kabel zu, die
Isolation wird eingeschnitten und abgestrippt.
(E) Zange öffnen und Kabel entnehmen.

Messerwechsel
(F) Innensechskantschraube 11 lösen.
(G) Zange schließen und Messer 5...8entnehmen (Messerblock immer komplett wechseln).
(H) Neue Messer 5...8auf Arretierstifte 12 der Messeraufnahme 1...4aufstecken (geschliffene Seite
innenliegend) und Zange in Ausgangsposition zurückführen.
(I) Sicherung durch Innensechskantschraube 11 vornehmen.
