19. This device includes over temperature sensors. If the unit becomes overheated while using it,
the heater will stop and the Lighted Handle will blink quickly. If the unit continues to overheat
because of a dirty or clogged lter, the heat and reverse-air motor will shut down until it has cooled
suciently.
20. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual
operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
21. Hair sections too large can limit air ow and result in heater turning o due to over temperature
sensor. If the heater turns o, the unit will continue to operate. Reduce hair section size to elimi-
nate over temperature turn o. The heat shut-o will be indicated by a change in vacuum sound
during use.
22. CAUTION: The Air Outlet (Base) and Heat Chamber Air Inlet (Wand) surfaces may be hot. Keep
the Air Outlet at least two feet away from walls, fabrics or any surface.
23. Do not allow anything to block the Air Outlet on Base or Heat Chamber Air Inlet on Wand.
24. Do not handle any part of the plug or device with wet hands.
25. Do not put any liquids on or into the RevAir Base, Hose or Wand.
26. Do not force the plug’s polarized pin into power outlet/socket if it does not t.
27. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug housing, not the cable.
28. Do not stretch the cord or place the cord under strain. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not wrap the cord around the device. Cord should only be wrapped around the intended Cord
Wrap Plate.
29. Refer to the Device Maintenance section of this manual for maintenance instructions.
30. Do not disassemble this device as incorrect reassembly may result in an electric shock or re.
