Grundelement X-CYCLONE®Aerosolabscheider
Die Abscheider von Rentschler REVEN®-Lüftungssysteme GmbH
dienen zur effektiven Abscheidung von Ölen, Emulsionen
und sonstigen Fluiden. Die REVEN®X-CYCLONE®
Industriefiltersysteme garantieren saubere Luft in Ihren
Produktionsräumen und schützen Ihre itarbeiter und
Ihre betriebliche Umwelt vor Schadstoffen.
➜Effektive Abscheidung von Ölen, Emulsionen
und sonstigen Flüssigkeitsnebeln (Aerosole),
mechanisch wirkend, im Einzelnen bestehend aus:
patentierten Spezialprofilen. Selbstreinigungseffekt durch die
spezielle Profilausbildung, glatte Oberflächen und Anordnung.
➜ Alle Grundelemente und Agglomeratoren können abge-
reinigt und wiederverwendet werden, keine Wegwerffilter!
TÜV-geprüfter ➜ Flammdurchschlagschutz, nach der Richtlinie
UL 1046 der US-amerikanischen Underwriters Laboratories®.

Basic module X-CYCLONE®aerosol separator
The separators made by Rentschler REVEN®-Lüftungssysteme GmbH
efficiently separate oils, emulsions and other fluids. The REVEN®
X-CYCLONE®industry filter systems guarantee clean air in
your productions areas, thereby protecting your staff and
your operational environment from harmful substances.
➜Effective separation of oils, emulsions and
other mists containing fluid particles (aerosols),
by mechanical separation. The module is composed of:
patented special profile. Self-cleaning effect through special
profile sections, smooth surfaces and a suitable layout.
➜ All basic modules and agglomerators can
be cleaned and reused – no throwaway filters!
The ➜ flame arresting capacity of the aerosol separator
has been tested successfully by the German TÜV in compliance
with the directive UL 1046 of the American Underwriters Laboratories®.

Absaugen von Medien mit niedrigem Flammpunkt
Es dürfen keine Dämpfe, Gase und Nebel abgesaugt werden,
die im Gerät ➜ explosionsfähige Medien bilden oder selbst sind.
Durch die zunehmende Verwendung von Öl mit einem niedrigeren Flammpunkt
auf modernen Werkzeugmaschinen ➜ nimmt das Brand- und Verpuffungsrisiko
bei der Werkstoffverarbeitung generell zu. Wenden Sie sich im Zweifelsfall an
Fachfirmen für Brandschutzberatung und Brandschutzanlagen.
ATTENTION:
Extraction of media with low ignition points
No vapors, gases and mists that are themselves explosive or
might form ➜ explosive media inside the devices may be extracted.
The steady increase in the use of oil with a low ignition point in modern machine tools
provokes a ➜ generally increased risk of fire and explosion in the field of material
processing. In case of doubt, please contact a competent specialized provider of fire
protection consultancy services and equipment.

Eine Reinluftrückführung ist beim Umgang mit besonders krebserzeug-
enden Gefahrstoffen nach § 15a der GefStoffV nicht erlaubt! Diese sind:
- 6-Amino-2-Ethoxynaphthalin
- 4-Aminobiphenyl und seine Salze
- Asbest
- Benzidin und seine Salze
- Bis(chlormethyl)äther
- Cadmiumchlorid (in atembarer Form)
- Chlormethyl- ethyläther
- Dimethylcarbamoylchlorid
- Hexamethylphosphorsäuretriamid
- 2-Naphthylamin und seine Salze
- 4-Nitrodiphenyl

Insert the profiles
always vertically!
Aerosolabscheider, Agglomeratoren und
Abscheidezellen für alle X-CYCLONE®-Serien
gefertigt. Beim Einbau in bauseitige Gehäuse
ist darauf zu achten, dass die Abscheider
danach von der Bedienseite zugänglich sind.
An der Geräteunterseite müssen Ablaufmuffen
angebracht sein (Standard bei REVEN®Geräten!),
damit das abgeschiedene edium ablaufen kann.
ACHTUNG:
➜ Die Elemente sollen vertikal und im 90º-Winkel
zum Luftstrom eingebaut werden. Auf
eine gleichmäßige strömungsberuhigte
Anströmung muss geachtet werden!
➜ Die Aerosolabscheider müssen in die dafür
vorgesehenen Aufnahmen eingebaut werden!
Aerosol separators, agglomerators and separating cells
are manufactured for all X-CYCLONE®air cleaners.
When installing the separators in housings by
customer, make sure that they are accessible from
the service side after assembly. The housing bottom
must be fitted with a drain socket (standard with
REVEN®devices) to provide for the drainage of the
separated media.
ATTENTION:
➜ Install the modules vertically in an angle of 90°
to the airflow. Make sure that the approaching
airflow is smooth and steady!
➜ The aerosol separator must be fitted into
the receptacles provided for this purpose!

Reinigung und Wartung der Abscheider
Weisen die X-CYCLONE®Aerosolabscheider oder die AGG Agglomeratoren Verschmutzungen
in Form von Verharzungen oder Filterkuchen auf, sind diese z. B. mithilfe eines
Hochdruckgerätes oder einer Industriewaschmaschine zu reinigen. Bei der Abscheidung von
edien, von denen eine mikrobiologische und biologische Gefährdung durch z. B. Bildung
von Schimmelkulturen, Viren oder Bakterien ausgeht, müssen unbedingt
➜ regelmäßige, kurze Wartungs- und Reinigungsintervalle eingehalten werden.
➜ Zur Reinigung der Filteranlage empfehlen wir den biologischen Entöler Oil-Free V2000.
Cleaning and aintenance of the Separators
If the X-CYCLONE®aerosol separator or the AGG agglomerators show strong contamination
in the form of gumming or filter caking, they should be cleaned with the help of a
high-pressure cleaner or an industrial washing machine, for example. If the media to be
separated constitute a biological or microbiological hazard because they form mildew
cultures, viruses or bacteria, for example, it is imperative that
➜ regular maintenance and cleaning cycles be observed in short intervals.
➜ We recommend the biological oil remover Oil-Free V2000 for the cleaning of the filter system.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor: / Follow the instructions below:
Filtergerät ausschalten und mithilfe eines Reparaturschalter vom Netz trennen.
Vor dem Öffnen der Bedienungstüren Gerät ausschalten und durch den Reparatur-
schalter vom Netz trennen.
Switch off the filtering device and separate it from the power supply using a repair switch.
Switch off the device before opening the service doors and separate it from its power
supply using the repair switch.
Wenn im Abscheider gesundheitsgefährdende Stoffe abgeschieden werden, muss vor
dem Öffnen der Bedienungstüren entsprechende Schutzausrüstung getragen werden.
➜ Sonst besteht je nach Abscheide medium die Gefahr
von Vergiftung, Verätzung und / oder Verbrennung.
If materials that are hazardous to your health are separated in the device, put appropriate
protective clothing on before you open the service doors
➜ This helps to avoid burns, poisoning and / or caustic burns
depending on the nature of the separated medium.
Vor dem Öffnen der Bedienungstüren den Stillstand des Ventilators abwarten.
Wait until the fan has stopped rotating before you open the service doors.

Die Gerätetür bzw. Abdeckung öffnen, dann die Elemente aus dem Gehäuse herausziehen.
Open the service door or cover before extracting the modules from the housing.
Bei der Wiedermontage der Plattenebenen ist darauf zu achten, dass die Elemente in
die Dränageaufnahme ➜ richtig eingeführt werden, und die ➜ Filterprofile vertikal
angeordnet sind.
When reassembling the plate levels, make sure that the modules are ➜ reinstalled correctly
into the drainage receiver and the ➜ filter profiles are in vertical position.

Als Richtwerte der Wartungsintervalle gilt: / Recommended maintenance intervals:

Wasserlösliche Kühlschmierstoffe ohne
Staubpartikel oder sonstige Feststoffe.
Separation of pure liquids, water-soluble
cooling lubricants without any dust
particles or other solid matters
Abscheidung von Emulsionen
aus flüssigen und festen Partikeln:
Flüssigkeit mit einem hohen Anteil an
Feststoffpartikeln und zu Verharzungen
neigenden Kühlschmierstoffen.
Separation of emulsions composed of
liquid and solid particles: Liquids with a
high portion of solid particles and cooling
lubricants with a tendency to gumming.
Bei starken Verunreinigungen der
Emulsionen und bei Festpartikeln.
Separation of strongly contaminated
emulsions and solid particles.
Wartungsintervall / Maintenance interval
Wir empfehlen alle 6 onate eine Routinekontrolle
und alle 12 onate eine Reinigung der drei Filterstufen.
We recommend a routine inspection every 6 months
and the cleaning of the three filter stages every
12 months.
Wir empfehlen, zu Beginn die Filter wöchentlich zu
kontrollieren und je nach Verschmutzungsgrad der
ersten Filterstufe die Reinigungsintervalle festzulegen.
We recommend that the filters be inspected once a
week to begin with and that cleaning intervals be set
according to the degree of contamination of the first
filter stage.
Wir empfehlen, gegebenenfalls einen zusätzlichen
Vorfilter am aschinenausgang (Flansch) zum
Gerät zu installieren. Kontrolle einmal wöchentlich.
We recommend the installation of an additional
prefilter at the outlet of the machine (flange) to
the device, if required. Inspection once a week.
