The device is intended for the temporary relief of minor
muscle aches and pains and for temporary increase in
circulation to the treated areas in people who are in good
health. The device simulates kneading and stroking of
tissues by using an inatable garment (Cu).

Mark of Fitness, Inc. warrents the device to be free of defects in material and workmanship
for a period of two years from date of purchase when used in accordance with the
directions and intended use. Should any operating defects occur, Mark of Fitness will
repair or replace the device or parts at no charge for labor or materials provide the device
is returned postage paid for servicing to the Service Department. Product must be
accompanied by proof of purchase, a letter describing the complaint or defect and a
check or money order in the amount of $7.95 for shipping and handling. Return the device
to: Mark of Fitness, Inc. Attn. Customer Service Department
This warranty does not apply to any item that has been tampered with, abused,
accidentally damaged, or to damage through improper packaging or mishandling in
transit. Mark of Fitness shall in no event be liable to the purchaser for any amount in
excess of the cost of repair and/or replacement of the device.

This device should not be used over swollen or inamed areas or
skin eruptions. Do not use in the presence of unexplained calf pain.
Consult a physician.
Consult with your physician before using the AM-7 under following
conditions
•use of a pace maker or other implanted medical device
•malignant tumors
•heart disorder
•lack of sensitivity to temperature
•pregnancy or right after giving birth
•menstruation (the massaging could aect periods or could result in
discomfort)
•sensory disorders due to diabetes, severe peripheral circulation problems or
such
•wounded skin
•rest cure
•high fever (e.g. under acute inammation causing fatigue, shivering, blood
pressure alternation or debility)
•inammatory conditions of the leg (osteoporosis, broken spine, muscle
sprains or tears)
•prohibited from getting massaged by a doctor (e.g. cerebral or coronary
thrombosis, severe aneurysm, varices, skin diseases, infection of skin
including inammatory subcutaneous tissue
Do not use AM-7 near anesthetic gas or ammable gas, inside
hyperbaric oxygen device or oxygen chamber. (Such circumstances
may cause re. )
Do not use AM-7 with any other treatment devices.
Consult with your doctor or an expert if massaging has no eect.
Follow the operating conditions stated in this manual.

Do not use AM-7 in a humid environment such as ashower room.
Do not put AM-7 on wet legs.
Do not use near heating devices.
Reconrm the followings before use.
•All the buttons function properly.
•The massage cu is not torn or AM-7 is not damaged. Do not use AM-7 if any
defect were found.
•AM-7 operates properly and safely when it has not been used for a long period.
Make sure of the following during use.
•Do not use for an excessive length of time. A single course of massage
should be approximately 10 minutes with a 20 to 30 minute rest before
starting another course of massage. Continuously repeating massage can be
ineective or can cause damage to skin and muscle.
•Set massage level at weak if you can have your muscles torn easily or if you
have sensitive skin.
•Take o AM-7 immediately and do not use it any malfunctioning occurs.
•Take o AM-7 immediately and discontinue use it you feel pain or discomfort.
Make sure the following after use.
•Clean AM-7 for next use. Wrap the massage cu around the controller and
put AM-7 in the storage case. Store AM-7 in a dry place. (See page 4 for
further instructions.)
Do not disassemble, modify or attempt to repair AM-7.
Stop using AM-7 when any defect or malfunction is found and
contact service department.
Use only specied accessories including batteries for AM-7. Use of
any accessories other than those specied in this manual can cause
malfunctions and accidents.
Please read the following precautions carefully before use for your safety.
Slide BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER, lightly pressing it down,
to the direction of the arrow.
Insert twoAA batteries accordingly tothe polarity labeling .
Slide back BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER. Follow your local regulations to dispose of used batteries.
Do not use AM-7 without consultation with your doctor if you are
undergoing dialysis therapy or usinganticoagulants, antiplatelets
or steroids. Use of AM-7 under such conditions could cause internal bleeding.
Do not use AM-7 on wounded legs.
Do not use AM-7 for any purposes other than massaging legs. Use
of AM-7 beyond its intended use can cause malfunctions and accidents.
Do not stress the massage cu when AM-7 is activated.
Do not use cell phones near AM-7. Operation near cell phones may
cause interference.
Do not use AM-7 in combustible environment.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Take out batteries when AM-7 is not to be used for an extended
period of time to prevent battery solution leakage.
Install identical batteries and do not mix new and old batteries.
Simultaneous use of old and new batteries can generate heat and could cause
malfunctions.
Do not tear or poke the cloth with a needle or a sharp object.
Do not forcefully bend or stretchthe massage cu.

To Apply:
Pull the belt out from the controller , holding the ratchet .
Insert the hanger(at back of the ratchet) into the hook.
Slightly lift the controller to allow the belt to retract and secure
the device snug toyour leg.
To Remove:
Make sure the device is o and the air is exhausted from the
cu.
Then pull the ratchet away from the hook to release it. Allow
the belt to retract and remove the device from your leg.

Press POWER BUTTON on the
controller.
The device will start the cycle.
In MODE 1 and MODE 2, massage is continued for approximately 10
minutes after which the device turns o.
In MODE 3, approximately 10 minutes of massage and approximately 20
minutes of break are alternately repeated. This will continue until you press
the POWER BUTTON to end the massage.
To switch massage modes: go to page 4.
ENDING M A SSA G E
Press POWER BUTTON at any time to
end the massage. Wait for the cu to
deate before attempting to remove
the device.
Place the massage cu at the back of your calf with the controller on your right hand side.
Be careful to not touch the hanger as you pull the belt out. Doing so will
lock the belt. Pulling the belt forcefully orat an angle can damage the belt.
The yellow band on the belt indicates its
end limit. Any attempt to pull further will
damage the device.
Use the extension hook if
you need to extend the
belt further.

If the controls fail to respond, make sure that the device
is unlocked. Slide the key to the unlocked position.

CAU T ION
Do not use for an excessive length of time. A single course of

cause accidents.
Do not move during massage.
Immediately stop massage and take o AM-7 whenever you
feel pain or discomfort.
You can place the AM-7 over panty-hose, socks or
pant legs .
Putting the device directly on your skin could leave
marks on your leg s.
Do not use the device if you feel any irritation toyour skin.
Be aware some material of the clothing could be damaged or
could damage the velour, the fabric used at inner side of the
massage cu.

Pressing POWER BUTTON does not activate AM-7.

Press the massage cu and release the remaining air from the massage cu.
Take out batteries before cleaning. Make sure not to allow any liquid
to get inside AM-7. Do not use ethanol, benzine, paint thinner,
gasoline or other strong solvents. Wipe the stains or dirt o from the
controller, the hook and the belt with soft cloth moistened with neutral
detergent. Gently pat out the dirt from the massage cu.
Avoid storing AM-7 where it is exposed to direct sun light, in humid
and heated places or dusty places, at unstable places or in a closet
with mothballs.
Take out batteries when AM-7 is not to be used for an extended
period of time to prevent battery solution leakage.
When AM-7 has been stored at a temperature below the freezing
point, leave it for at least an hour in a warm place ( 50 to 104°F) before
use.
If condensation were found, wait until AM-7 dries.
Do not place heavy object on AM-7.
Make sure not to drop AM-7 or expose it to strong shocks.
Do not stretch or twist the massage cu or do not cut or poke the
cloth with sharp objects such as knives or needles.
Do not activate AM-7 unless it is worn. Use the lock key to prevent
accidental activation of AM-7 during transportation or at storage.
Do not disassemble AM-7.
When AM-7 does not function or any defect is found, cease further
use of it and contact the service department.
Pressing PRESSURE BUTTON in MODE 1
or MODE 2 will change massage level
(intensity).
Massage levels can not be altered in MODE 3 .
Pressure level (intensity) can be conrmed by the PRESSURE indictor lights. Select
the level of intensity that feels most comfortable for you. Lower the pressure if
the massage is uncomfortable.
Set massage level at weak if you can have your muscles torn
easily or if you have sensitive skin.

Contact the service department if AM-7 still malfunctions after reconrming the above. Also, please contact the service depart ment when air stays in the
massage cu long after ending massage.
All the pressure level indicators are lit.
The cu is too loose.
The cu should be snug against your calf before starting massage.

MODE 3 is intended to be used whenever you are sitting or immobile for
long periods of time. The repeated massage will provide temporary increase
in blood circulation.* Massage is most eective when AM-7 is left turned on.
*Increase in blood circulation is temporal and is conned to the local area
of treatment.
