Fitting instructions
The Rhyno unit is designed to t in a
simple but secure way to your caravan.
Tools required:
17mm socket or ring spanner
Standard screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
Wire cutters
A power drill
22mm spade drill
Scissor car jack or trolley jack
Matt or ground covers for lying on
The rst step to successfully tting
your Rhyno Caravan Mover is to ensure
that all the components are laid out
together and to check that all the
following parts are included:
8 x M10 nyloc nuts
8 x M10 X80 high tensile bolts
8 x self-tapping screws
1 x control module
1 x handset
1 x aux cable
2 x bottom plates
2 x middle plates
2 x top plates
1 x red lead short
1 x red lead long
1 x black lead long
1 x isolator switch with key
12 x cable ties
2 x shear bolts
1 x cable grommet
Prepare your caravan. Ensure there
is sufcient ground clearance and the
front of the caravan is raised to allow
you to have access to the underneath
of the caravan.
Apply the hand brake and have at least
two legs lowered whilst working under
the caravan.
Remove all security wheel clamps.
Clear the bunk or cupboard at the
rear of your battery box ready for the
positioning of the electric control box.
Mount one of the motor units onto the
jack or wooden blocks and raise into
position as shown below.

Place the intermediate clamp plate and
then top plate to match as shown.
Fit the bottom plate and one bolt with a
nut and washer. Repeat for other three
bolts.
Ensure the unit can slide freely along
the rail of the chassis.
Repeat for the other side motor unit.
Unclip the grey end cap and loosen all
gripping bolts
Slide in centre bar to one motor unit
and slide through to meet the other.
Ensure the unit is centred as shown on
each wheel and make reference to the
centre mark on the centre bar. Allow
clearance all around and make sure
the mover does not catch the tyres.
Tighten all gripping bolts on to
centre bar.
Start to tighten clamp set bolts
ensuring the units remain centred and
use a wooden spacer dowel to set tyre
clearances to 22mm.
Tighten all bolts fully, secure the cable
across the centre bar using the cable
ties.
Feed the control wires up through a
free vent hole in the oor, or drill a
20mm hole in the oor to feed wire
through close to battery box, use cable
clips to secure cables to underside of
caravan oor. If you have drilled right
through the oor use a silicon sealant
to seal the hole.
Connect the electric box as shown,
right and left-hand conventions are
to be followed when you are looking
to the front of the caravan. At this
point please refer to the note below on
tuning control boxes.
Handsets are not tuned in prior to
leaving the works, so please follow the
instructions below:
• Ensure power is on via the red key
switch
• Ensure your handset is switched on
• Press the small button as shown
below
• Keep button pressed and at the
same time press any button on the
handset
• This will immediately tune the
handset to the control box

Make connections to live and negative
on the control box and feed through
rear of the battery box.
Feed red and black wires through.
Make secure metal-to-metal
connections to live and neutral on
battery terminals.
Ensure on/off switch is mounted in the
line of the positive line to the battery.
Connect On/Off Switch.
Use 22mm spade drill to make
mounting hole for On/Off switch through
battery box, usually underneath the
hook up connector.
Another suitable location may be
required. WARNING - do not position
near a gas bottle.
WARNING - do not use your mover
without an On/Off switch being tted.
Coil up excess wiring and cable
strap into neat 300mm diameter coils
and secure under bunk. Ensure all
terminals are tight. Replace covers.

Warranty Details
Your Rhyno Caravan Mover has been designed
and built to give the user the very best in
performance and reliability.
Mechanical reliance with good service is based on
good care, correct usage and correct installation
as detailed in the installation instruction; it is
designed to give many years of reliable service.
This is a limited warranty; the parts covered are
detailed below:
The motors are covered for a period of ve years
from date of purchase. The motors are covered
against poor workmanship and non-conforming
components. The motors are not covered for
loss or immersion in uids or liquids of any type,
water or ood damage, road accident damage,
poor installation or faulty workmanship arising
from a poor installation (for self-installation only),
or fair wear and tear. The motors must be cared
for as per the aftercare and cleaning directions
contained in this leaet.
The electrics are covered for a period of ve
years from date of purchase. The electronics
are covered against poor workmanship and non-
conforming components. The electronics and
handset are not covered for loss or immersion
in uids or liquids of any type, water or ood
damage, road accident damage, poor installation
or faulty workmanship arising from a poor
installation (for self-installation only). Interference
with the electronic controls in any way, by anyone
other than an appointed Rhyno service engineer
(unless otherwise advised in writing) will invalidate
this warranty. The electronics and handset must
be cared for as per the aftercare and cleaning
directions contained in this leaet.
The mechanical components of the mover
are covered for faulty materials and poor
workmanship. The exclusions are corrosion
caused by road salts or chemicals, accidental
damage, fair wear and tear, poor installations (for
self-installation only) and loss.
The roller system is not covered by the warranty
as these are considered to be wearing parts to be
replaced as necessary. These are available from
our online shop.
Batteries are not supplied with the mover; these
are your responsibility at all times.
This warranty is not automatically transferable; a
small charge will be made to transfer.
In all cases and without exception this warranty
will be deemed void if the electronic components
or motors are interfered with or modications
made to the mover in any way.
In the event of an issue please refer to the trouble
shooting guide enclosed, or on our website.
If you are still having problems call us on 02476
387080 with your invoice to hand and we will
endeavour to help and address the issue as
quickly as possible. We reserve the right to send
an engineer to investigate and report as to the
fault.
In most cases, should replacement parts be
required, they will be sent to the engineer who
will liaise with the owner to arrange a date for
the parts to be tted. In the event that the mover
was a self-t package the parts will be sent direct
to the owner for tting. In some instances your
mover may have to be returned to our works for
work to be carried out. You may be asked to
replace small components with our reference to
an engineer; you will be given full instructions if
required.
In all cases, we are committed to handling
your claim in an efcient and friendly manner.
We assure you of our very best attention and
assistance at all times.
We will respond in a reasonable and fair
application of the contents of this warranty in the
quickest time scale available to the company.
