Appearance – Pro Version (Basic System)
In the Pro version:
There is a status light pole
The operation panel is separated from the main unit.
Each paper tray has an indicator to show if the tray is currently
active, so that the customer will not open a tray while it is feeding

The full range of options and combinations will be shown later. These are
just examples.
The ADF is standard for all models. It is a single pass duplex ADF, and its
scanning speed is 100ipm in simplex mode and 200ipm in duplex mode.

This shows the Pro version.
Home Key: Press to display the Home Screen.
Status Key: Press to check the machine’s system status, operational status
of each function, current jobs and the job history.
Function Keys: In the factory default, no functions are registered. Users can
register often used functions including SDK, programmed shortcuts and
frequently-visited web pages.
Programmed Shortcut Icons: Users can add shortcuts to programs or web
pages to the Home Screen. The program number appears on the bottom of
the shortcut icon. No shortcut icons are registered in the factory.
Paper Setting: Press to allocate a paper to a tray and check the Paper
Library.

The Fiery is not built-in as a standard unit. However, after it is installed, the
system is similar to other PP models, such as the Taurus.

Fiery Controller Basics
CH-C1 Pro supports GW printing as a standard
application, and two types of Fiery controller are
provided as options (Fiery is not standard).
Color Controller E-22B (EFI Light Controller):
Used for both Office and Pro versions
Color Controller E-42B (EFI Server Controller):
Used for the Pro version only
There is no Creo controller option
CH-C1 Pro is quipped with GW scanning as a
standard application, and Fiery scanning is also
available if a Fiery controller option is installed.
Fiery scanning can be used even when GW and
Fiery controllers are connected to the network at
the same time.
The Ch-C1 Pro is the first PP model to support GW printing and an
embedded EFI controller.
For example: Taurus has a GW controller, but it does not carry the GW
printer application. All printing features are provided by the external Fiery
controller.

The ADF is built-in. It scans two sides at the same time.
Only one LCT unit can be installed.
The decurler and buffer pass units are only allowed for the Pro version, to
increase the range of paper types that can be used.
There are three finishers
The 2000-sheet booklet finisher and the 3000-sheet finisher are a new
series. With these finishers, a one-tray cover interposer can be
installed. In the Office version, a nine-bin mailbox can be installed
instead of the cover interposer.
The 3000-sheet finisher is a new model in an existing series of
finishers. No installation kit is needed, unlike for the V-C3. The two-tray
cover interposer can be installed with this finisher.
