About the Batteries
WARNING:
For safe operation, follow the warnings below regarding the battery. If
you use a battery incorrectly, it may result in fire or injury due to bat-
tery leaking or exploding.
Do not leave the battery in a place where the temperature is likely
to be high, such as in a vehicle or strong sunlight. Doing so may
cause abnormal heating, rupture, or fire.
Do not place the batteries in fire or water.
Do not place the battery in an induction heating cooker or a micro-
wave oven.
Do not use batteries other than the ones supplied.
Do not use the battery with devices other than the specified ma-
chine.
Do not recharge the battery using a method other than the speci-
fied recharging method.
Do not disassemble, modify or solder the battery.
Do not use the battery if it has received an impact—for example, by
being dropped.
Do not nail, hammer, or crush the battery.
Do not connect the connecting terminals on a battery with a wire.
Do not carry or store the battery with a metal object, such as a
necklace or hairpin. Doing so may cause the battery to short-cir-
cuit, resulting in abnormal heating, rupture, or fire.
If abnormal heating or deformation of the battery occurs during
recharging, discharging, or storage, immediately stop using the
battery and remove it from the machine.
If the machine is to be left unused for a long time, remove the bat-

Notice
To move the battery charger, first remove the battery and insulate the bat-
tery terminals with tape or put the battery in the plastic bag or the box it was
delivered in. Moving the battery charger with the battery may result in a short
circuit, causing smoke or fire.
To maximize the battery life, recharge, use, and store it in an environment with
an ambient temperature of 10 to 32°C. Be careful about recharging, using, or
storing the battery in an environment with an ambient temperature of 40°C or
above. Doing so will cause the battery to deteriorate.
To prevent condensation, install the machine in an area where temperature and
humidity conditions do not exceed those indicated in the diagram below.
