Maintenance RLD motor gearboxes
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance RLD80/200 [0-10 V/Modbus]
Maintenance on the RLD motor gearbox is usually not necessary ("maintenance-free"). It is
recommended to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For a satisfactory view of possible malfunctions and easy access to all LEDs
●For error-message indications of the blink codes
●For oil leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, output-shaft connections to the operated system,
fasteners, correctly attached and such)
●Of the set end positions (are they still correct for the system?)
●Of the set emergency position (if applicable)
●The operation of the emergency power supply (if applicable).
Maintenance RW motor-gearboxes
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance on the RW motor-gearbox is usually not necessary ("maintenance-free").
Maintenance RW45
It is recommended to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For grease leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, output-shaft connections to the operated system,
fasteners, correctly attached and such)
●Of the adjusted end positions (are they still correct for the system?).
Maintenance RW240/400/600 - RW800 - RW1000/1200/1400/1600/2000 - RW70/100/140/200
Installation: After installation interchange the plug in the highest position with the vent plug!
It is recommended to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For oil leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, output-shaft connections to the operated system,
fasteners, correctly attached and such)
●Of the adjusted end positions (are they still correct for the system?).

Maintenance RB tube motors
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance RB
For the Ridder RB tube motor and accessories not much maintenance is necessary. It is recommended
to do the checks that follow every 6 months.
●Do a check of the set end positions of the limit-switch system.
Are they still correct for the system?
Can the tube motor turn freely? Because of folds the roller screen winds up faster!
●Do a check of the operation of the guiding unit on the guiding profile. A dirty guiding profile can
cause irregular operation (thus uses more power).
●Do a check for a correctly tightened head of the tube motor.
●Do a check for a not damaged power cable of the tube motor.
Maintenance RPR drive-units
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance RPR
Maintenance on the RPR drive-unit is usually not necessary ("maintenance-free"). It is recommended
to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For oil leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, output-shaft connections to the operated system,
fasteners, correctly attached and such)
●Of the adjusted end positions (are they still correct for the system?).

Maintenance RPD motor gearboxes
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance RPD
Maintenance on the RPD motor gearbox is usually not necessary ("maintenance-free"). It is
recommended to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For oil leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, output-shaft connections to the operated system,
fasteners, correctly attached and such)
●Of the adjusted end positions (are they still correct for the system?).
Maintenance W240/400/600 worm gearboxes
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance W240/400/600

Maintenance RMD manual-drive units
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Maintenance RMD
Maintenance on the RMD manual-drive is usually not necessary (“maintenance-free”). It is
recommended to do the checks that follow every 6 months:
●Of the correct operation of the drive unit and the system
●For oil leakage. Tell your installer if there is a leakage
●Of the mechanical condition (wear and tear, hand crank, output-shaft connections to the operated
system, fasteners and such).

Maintenance TRN rack drives
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Installation TRN
After installation, TRN rack-drive, bearing (opposite system) and rack (teeth, sides, bottom) have to be
lubricated! Refer to "Lubricate TRN".
Maintenance TRN
Every 6 months inspection of system and rack drives on technical state (wear and tear, shaft
connections, fasteners and such) and proper functioning. With this the TRN rack-drive, bearing
(opposite system) and rack (teeth, sides, bottom) have to be lubricated. Refer to "Lubricate TRN".
Lubricate TRN
●Lubricate pinion-house unit with grease gun (approximately 5 strokes per grease nipple).
●Lubricate rack (all around) with brush (teeth, sides, bottom).
●Lubricate bearing (opposite system) all around (fully: between surfaces tube/bearing) with brush.
Lubricant TRN
Grease: CASTROL OPTILEB-GR 823-2 (item number: 182029)

Maintenance RRD700 rack drives
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Installation RRD700
After installation, RRD700 rack-drive, plastic bearing (opposite system) and rack (teeth, sides, bottom)
have to be lubricated! Refer to "Lubricate RRD700".
Maintenance RRD700
Every 6 months inspection of system and rack drives on technical state (wear and tear, shaft
connections, fasteners and such) and proper functioning. With this the RRD700 rack-drive, plastic
bearing (opposite system) and rack (teeth, sides, bottom) have to be lubricated. Refer to "Lubricate
RRD700".
Lubricate RRD700
●Lubricate pinion-house unit with grease gun (approximately 5 strokes per grease nipple).
●Lubricate rack (all around) with brush (teeth, sides, bottom).
●Lubricate plastic bearing (opposite system) all around (fully: between surfaces tube/bearing) with
brush.

Maintenance RRD800 rack drives
Inspection and maintenance work is only permitted to approved personnel.
Installation RRD800
After installation the RRD800 rack-drive and rack (teeth, sides, bottom) have to be lubricated! Refer to
"Lubricate RRD800".
