To prevent electric shock when installing, moving, or opening the DVR and peripheral devices, connect
and disconnect the cables as instructed. All cables must be connected to grounded power outlets.

I the product is installed near a power outlet, make sure it can be unplugged easily.

Do not use the DVR in water or in wet places.

Keep the vinyl packing materials used or the DVR or other peripheral devices out o reach o children
(may cause su ocation).
Installation Environment o the DVR

Maintain the ollowing conditions: operating temperature o 0˚C ~ 30˚C; operating humidity o 10% ~
80%.

Install the DVR in a sa e place that is ree rom external vibration.

Install the DVR in a well-ventilated place.

To protect the hard disk rom data loss and breakdown, install the DVR away rom magnetic materials.

When using a rack other than the standard one, use a separate table with su icient spacing, i.e., 60cm
rom the loor, 50cm rom the ceiling, and 20cm rom the side and back walls and other objects.
Sa ety Notes on the DVR

When installing additional boards and HDDs, separate the power cable and turn OFF power
supplied to the DVR completely.

Keep the product away rom heat-generating devices such as heaters.

Do not use a damaged power cord.

About CONFIG SWITCH in detail
1.
Video mode should be either NTSC or PAL. It cannot be both.
2.
Video mode can be selected by locating Con ig switch on the rear panel.

Monitor can also be selected by locating monitor type on the rear panel.

HV-400/600 simultaneously supports both TV and VGA output with OSD selective.

1) Using a screw driver, unscrew and take o top cover.
1) Normal termination o the system and ully unplugged power
code are required be ore conducting HDD installation.
2) Touch a grounded metal substance or ground yoursel be ore
installing HDD in order to reduce static electricity. Static electricity
may cause a mal unction o the product.
3) A ter installing HDD, Do not connect to power supply with the
top case opened. The top case must be covered be ore usage.
2) Using a screw driver. Unscrew and separate the HDD bay.
3) Align screw holes and screw and ix additional HDD onto HDD bay.
4) Connect the power cable and data cable to HDD.
5) The main board o the product provides one power connection; Connect the
power cable o HDD.
6) Connect the data cable o HDD to the main board data cable connecter.
7) Reassemble the top case by reversing 1) to inalizing HDD installation.

5-2-2 Channel Grouping
Channel grouping is to switch the image location on the screen between channels in the monitoring mode.

On the real-time monitoring screen, drag and drop a channel to move.
※ No group setup is supported in 1ch mode.
※ This will be supported in 1/4/9 basic mode.

Zoom Function is to zoom in and out or particular channel in live mode.
