The instrument has been calibrated before leaving the factory, so there is no need to calibrate or adjust it before use.
(1) With the device turned on, press the button to set the display to zero and enter the relative
measurement mode. (Set the current measurement position to "zero")
(2) In the relative measurement mode, the "ABS" symbol on the LCD will disappear.
(3) The relative measurement mode allows the operation to measure the difference between two objects.
(4) To return to (ABS) absolute measurement mode, press the button once.

Screen Icons
(1) Place the instrument on a stable plane as flat and smooth as possible, press and two keys at the same time
to start the calibration mode, and display "-1-".
(2) When “-1-” is displayed, press the key, and “-1-” will flash briefly. This is the first stage of calibration.
After completion, it will automatically display “-2-”.
(3) After completing the above item (2), turn to the same position and rotate 180° in place, then press the
key, “-2-”will flash briefly, and the second stage of correction has been performed.
(4)
In the state of (3) above, do not move the instrument until "-2-" disappears, and the current measured value
is displayed to complete the calibration.
1. Turn off the power of the instrument.
2. Use a small screwdriver to remove the battery cover.
(Removing the screw will temporarily attract the bottom surface
of the instrument to prevent loss.)
3. Follow instructions to install two new batteries.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Please comply with local battery recycling regulations.
Note: When storing the instrument for a long time, make sure to
remove the battery from the instrument.
