790 or directly to the heat exchanger.
•Openstopballvalve4.Compensatepressurebetweenheatexchangerandtestingdevice.
•Observewaterpressuregauge10 .
Caution. Tank1isunderpressure!DonotopenconnectionDbyinsertingwaterfunnel2.

1. Filling with water
Caution. Depending on application, it may be necessary to use antifreeze or similar agents.
•Insertfunnel2withquickcoupling.ConnectionDisopen.
•Openoutletcontrolvalve6.
•Closestopballvalves3and4.
•OpenoverowvalveEabit.(Releaseairwhenllingpressurevessel1.)
•Fillwithwater.
•Removefunnel2,connectionDisclosed.
•CloseoverowvalveE.
2. Connect to SAV RMG 790 or heat exchanger
It is also possible
to connect di-
rectly to the heat
exchanger.

•Closestopballvalve3.
•Closeoutletcontrolvalve5.
•Openoutletcontrolvalve6.
•Connectauxiliaryenergy.(ph> ps SAV)
5. Testing
•Openstopballvalve3.
•Adjusttestpressureadjustingcontrolvalves5and6.
By applying the test pressure to the pressure vessel on the gas side, the pressure in the heat exchanger is raised
simultaneouslysothatthetestingdeviceonRMG790opensassoonasthesetvalueisreached.Youwillnoticea
smallamountofwaterleakingfromthetestingdevice.
AfurtherincreaseinthepressurewillclosetheSAVs.ThepressureatthepressuregaugeofSAVtestconnectionII
willfallbacktothesetvalueofthetestingdevice.Next,youmustraisethetestpressureanadditional2to3bars
(butnotbeyond10bar).Trapthepressureintheheatexchangerbyclosingtheconnectionofthetestingdevice.If
thepressureremainsstable,theconnectionistightandtheRMG790worksproperly.
•Whileapplyingthepressureandcarryingoutthetest,keepaneyeonpressuregauges9(gas)and10(water)on
the testing device. Both pressure gauges must indicate the same pressure.
6. Completing the test
•Closestopballvalve3.
•Openoutletcontrolvalve6.Reducegaspressure.
•Closestopballvalve4.
•OpenoverowvalveE.Reducewaterpressure.
•Removetestingdeviceconnection.
•Drainingthewaterfromtestingdevice:
Openstopballvalve4anddrainpressurevessel1usingwateroverowconnectionE.
Rememberantifreeze,ifnecessary(collector).

3. Connect outlet connection B to outdoor pipe.
