BATTERIES
1. Open battery cover on the rear.
2. Insert two 1.5V UM-3 batteries as
indicatedon thecase.
Alkaline cells are recommended.
3. Replace battery cover.
Note: Check your batteries regularly.
Old or discharged batteries must be
replaced to avoid acid leaking that may
damage your unit. If the unit is not to be
used for a long time, remove the
batteries from their compartment.
EXTERNALPOWER
A DC input socket has been provided
for external power connection. It
requires a DC 3V DC Power Source.
Ensure that the polarity is correct.
GENERALOPERATIONS
RADIOOPERATION
1. Turn the Power ON/OFF Switch (8).
2. Adjust the volume by turning the
VOLUME control (12).
3. Extend the telescopic antenna for
FM and SW Bands. To optimizeAM
receptionturn horizontallythe radiountil
reachingthe bestreception position.
4. Select the desired radio Band: FM
button (6) for FM and AM button (5) for
MW and SW 1-8. Select MW or SW 1
to 8 with the MW,SW Selector (2).
5. Tune to the desired station with the
Switch (3).
When a strong signal is received the
Tuningindicator will lightup.
6. To switch off the radio turn the volume
knob counterclock-wise until a click is
heard.
HEADPHONES
For private listening this radio is
equipped with a 3.5 mm stereo
headphone socket (7).

PILES
1. Ouvrir le logement des piles sur
l’arrière de l’appareil
2. Introduire deux piles de type UM-3 dans
lelogement en veillant àlesbien placer
conformémentau schéma indiqué à
l'interieurdu logement (nous
recommandons des piles alcalines).
3. Fermerle logement.
Note: Contrôlezvos piles régulièrement.
Lespiles trop vieilles oudéchargées
devront être remplacées.
ENTREE DC EXTERNE
Cet appareil est doté d'une entrée pour
un transformateur AC/DC externe (non
fourni) de 3V DC.
Faire attention à la polarité correcte.
OPERATIONS GENERALES
ECOUTE DE LA RADIO
1. Tourner le contrôle ON/OFF (8).
2. Ajuster le contrôle de VOLUME (12)
au niveau désiré.
3.Détendre l'antenne télescopiquepourla
réception des ondes FM e OC.
Tourner l'appareil horizontalement pour une
réceptionoptimale des PO.
4. Sélectionner la bande souhaitée: pour
FM presser la touche FM (6), pour PO/OC
la touche MW (2).
Pour choisir entre PO e OC 1 à 8, faire
glisserle sélecteur MW-SW(2).
5.Syntoniser la station souhaitéeavec le
contrôlede Syntonisation (3).Lorsque une
stationforte est syntonisée,l'indicateur(9)
s'allume.
6.Pour éteindre l'appareil,tournerle
contrôlede volume ensensanti-horaire
jusqu'à entendre un déclic.
CASQUE
Pour permettre l'écoute privé,
l'appareil est doté d'une entrée pour
casques stéréo de 3.5 mm (7).

RUNDFUNKEMPFANG

3.Ziehen Sie dieTeleskop-Antenne für
UKW und KW aus. Um die optimale MW-
Empfangsqualitätzu erreichen, drehen Sie
dasRadio horizontal.
4. Wählen Sie das gewünschte Band: für
UKW mit dem FM-Knopf (6), für MW/KW
1-8 mit dem AM-Knopf (5). Wählen Sie
MW oder KW 1 bis 8 mit dem MW-SW-
Schalter.
5.StimmenSie die gewünschte Stationmit
der Abstimm-Kontrolle (3) ab. Wenn eine
starkeStationabgestimmtist, wird die
Abstimm-Anzeigeleuchten.
6.Um das Radioauszuschalten, drehen
Sie die Ein-/Aus-/Lautstärke-Kontrolle in
Gegenuhrzeigersinn bis Sie einen
"Klick" hören.

PILAS
1. Quitese la tapa del compartimiento
depilas
2. Introduzca dos pilas tamaño UM-3.
controlandoqueestán ubicadas según
el esquema en el compartimiento.
Recomendamospilasalcalinas.
3. Pongase nuevamente la tapa.
Nota: Controlar periódicamente las
pilas.Cambiaseles pilas que estén
viejas o descargadas para evitar daños
provocadosporeventuales pérdidas de
àcido.
ALIMENTACION EXTERNA
Introducir la clavija DC, del terminal del
cable del adaptador CA/CC 3V (non
incluido), en la toma de entrada DC ,
siguiendo las polaridades correctas.
PARAESCUCHARLARADIO
RADIO
1. Girar el control ON/OFF/VOL (8).
2. Ajuste el nivel de volumen con el
control VOLUME (12).
3. Extraer la antena telescópica para
las bandas FM y SW. Para optimizar la
recepción en MW, rotar la radio en el
sentidohorizontal.
4. Seleccionar la banda deseada:
presionar la tecla FM (6) por FM y la
tecla AM (5) por las bandas MW y
SW1-8. Seleccionar entre las bandas MW
y SW1 a 8 con el selector MW/SW (2).
5. Sintonizar la estación deseada con
el control SINTONIA (3). Si una
estación fuerte es sintonizada, se
iluminará el indicador de SINTONIA (9).
6. Para apagar la radio girar el control
ON/OFF (8) en el sentido anti-horario
hasta escuchar un "click".
SELECTOR DX-LOCAL
Seleccionar DX para sintonizar todas
las estaciones. Seleccionar LOCAL
para sintonizar solamente las
estaciones mas fortes.
AURICULARES
Para escuchar en forma privada, el
aparato tiene una entrada para
auriculares estéreo de 3.5 mm. (7).

BATTERIE
1. Aprire il vano batterie sul retro.
2. Inserire due batterie del tipo UM-3
(si raccomandano quelle alcaline).
Seguire le polarità indicate sul retro.
3. Richiudere il vano.
Nota: Controllate le batterie regolar-
mente. Le batterie vecchie o scariche
devono essere sostituite perche
possono perdere materiale acido che
danneggia l'apparecchio.
ALIMENTAZIONE ESTERNA
L'apparecchio è provvisto di un
ingresso per alimentazione esterna DC
3V. Seguire le polarità indicate.
COMEPROCEDERE
RADIO
1. Per accendere, usare l' interruttorei
ON/OFF/VOL (8).
Regolare il volume desiderato ruotando
il controllo VOLUME (12).
3. Estendere l'antenna telescopica per
le bande FM e SW. Per ottimizzare la
ricezione in MW, ruotare la radio in
senso orizzontale.
4. Scegliere la banda desiderata:
premere il tasto FM (6) per FM e il tasto
AM (5) per le bande MW e SW1-8.
Selezionare fra le bande MW e SW1 a
8 col selettore MW/SW (2).
5. Sintonizzare la stazione desiderata
con il controllo SINTONIA (3). Quando
una stazione forte è stata sintonizzata si
accenderà l'indicatore di SINTONIA (9).
6. Per spegnere la radio girare la
manopola ON/OFF (8) in senso
antiorario fino a sentire un click.
AURICOLARI
Per un ascolto privato, l'apparecchio è
provvisto di un'ingresso per auricolari
stereo da 3.5 mm (7).

PILHAS
1. Abra o compartimento das pilhas si-
tuado na parte de trás.
2. Coloque duas pilhas do tipo UM-3
(recomendam-se as alcalinas). Obede-
ça as polaridades indicadas atrás.
3. Feche novamente o compartimento.
Observação: verifique as pilhas peri-
odicamente. É necessário trocar as
pilhas velhas ou descarregadas por-
que pode vazar material ácido que
pode danificar a aparelhagem.
ALIMENTAÇÃO EXTERIOR
Esta aparelhagem é equipada com uma
entrada para alimentação eléctrica ex-
terior de 3 V. C.C. Obedeça a polarida-
de indicada.
RADIO
1. Para ligar o rádio, rode o comando
ON/OFF/VOL (8).
2. Para regular o volume no nível dese-
jado, rode o comando do VOLUME (12)
na direcção horária.
3. Para as faixas FM e SW, estenda a
antena telescópica. Para optimizar a
recepção em MW, desloque o rádio na
direcção horizontal.
4. Escolha a faixa que desejar: carregue
no botão FM o no botão AM (MW, SW 1 a
8) mediante o selector de Faixas.
5. Escolha a faixa AM que desejar: MW,
SW 1 a 8 mediante o selector de Faixas (2).
6. Sintonize na estação que desejar
medianteocomando de SINTONIA.
Para indicar quando uma estação forte
tiver sido sintonizada, acende-se o in-
dicadordeSINTONIA.
