Warranty
Warranty time：12 months after received roaster.
Warranty item ：During the warranty , if any failure or quality defect occurs, we will mail the spare parts for
replacement and provide technical support. If we confirm that the customer cannot repair it by themselves, the
product will be returned to the factory for repair.
Exception: In case of natural disasters, improper use, or self-refitting, the warranty will not be covered. Consumables
such as exhaust pipes and sampling spoons are not covered by the warranty.

Use for collect chaff during roasting, when roasting is finish, pull out chaff and put back, collect roasted
beans.
2 .Start/Finish
Click one time start roasting, roaster will turn on and start heating, click again, roaster will stop heating in
cooling process.
3. Roasting air/drop air volume switch
Click it will switch the roasting air volume and drop beans air volume, after cooling, click the button, the
roasted beans will be blow to roasted beans collector.

App connection
1. Open roaster, the roaster will created a WIFI named SANTOKER Q5.
2. Open your mobile or Android Pad, connect to the WIFI SANTOKER Q5.
3. Open Q5 roaster app, it will notice you to open Bluetooth, after open Bluetooth, renew the app(touch
and pull down), will see the roaster connect with app.
Roast Assistant APP
1. APP connection
In the APP left, push down to renew, will scan and find roaster, click the roaster ,CHOOSE Q series, and
start roast.

2. Manual roasting
After you start roasting, you will go to this Select Curve page.
If you do manual roasting, skip this page. You will go to manual roasting page.
In manual mode, you can adjust Burner and Fan volume
In the roasting page click + or -, Q5 roaster recommend volume is air38%-42%, fire60%-100%. If you
want to roast slow, can decrease the fire. If add air volume or decrease fire will reduce the temperature
of the hot air. When the temperature of the hot air is too low, the curve will go flat, now will need to
decrease air volume or add fire to improve roasting degree .
Will finish roasting, you click end will stop heating, clean the chaff, push the fan button or increase fan
value to collect beans.

3. Roasting Curve
After your manual roasting, you will get 5 curves. ET BT ROR Burner, Fan.
And can record Begin yellow first crack, second crack, end time.
4. Automatic roasting
After start roasting –select curve- OK
After selecting the curve, insert the coffee beans. Click Start, and the app will automatically adjust the
fire damper according to the curve and finish roasting and cooling. control the heating automatically ,
just click to start and finish, during the roasting, you can record the roasting period such as first crack,
second crack etc of the second batch.

In automatic model, it will roasting according to the selected curves, you can see the BT and ET are both
same with the first batch, when finish roasting, it will stop heating automatically and notice you the
roasting is ended.
5. Curves compare and analysis function:
Go to Main Page-Roast Record –select 2 curves to compare (either 2 curves can compare no matter
it’s base curve or repeat curve ) This function can help you adjust roasting and find the best curve.

6. Edit curve
Go to Main page- Roast Record- Select curve (push for 2 seconds)-Edit curve
You can edit the several points temperature and time, then keep it. Do Not change the temperature
too fast, if over range the roaster’s ability, the edit curve can’t be successfully.
You can drag the points move, or point + or –to edit and curve, after you edit the curve, you can use
the edited curve to do roasting.

7. Share curve and exported in excel
Go to Main page-Curve record-Click a curve
You can view, share and edit curves in the curve management page. Click the details to view the minute
data and other details, and click the share curve to send the curve to friends via WeChat, SMS, email, etc.
After receiving the curve, the receiver can copy the text of the curve then open the APP ,will view and
download the curve.
