Insert latch arm into latch and position on gate.
If you have an out-swinging gate, it is recommended that you reverse your hinges to create an in-swinging gate for added security.
The following instructions are for OUT-SWINGING gates. Instructions for IN-SWINGING gates are available at www.yardlock.ca.

Install latch assembly on gate interior

Recommendations

Mark the point where the catch meets the gate.
Push cable
through gate.
Mount latch cover (C) on
Gate above latch (B).
Drill hole through gate.

Install spring and latch cover

Unlock Yardlock with default combination: 0-0-0-0
Mount Yardlock on gate with holes aligned.
Push cable through large hole in Yardlock.
Secure cable.

Loosen screws and push cable through screw posts.
Pull cable until latch is fully open. Tighten back screw.

Wrap cable around screw post and loop
under itself. Tighten front screw.

Remove rubber cover and
move lever to learn position.
Close Yardlock and rotate
dials to desired combination.
Enter code.
Scramble
dials.
Open Yardlock
and gate.
Close shutter.
Close Yardlock
Close gate.
Open Yardlock, move lever
to original position, and
install rubber cover.
