Connecting power
• Plug the AC adapter into the DC 5V jack on the back of your
speaker dock and into a power outlet.
OR
• Insert four AAA batteries (not included) into the battery
compartment.
Note: When you operate your speaker dock on battery power,
it does not charge a docked iPod or iPhone battery.

Docking an iPod or iPhone
1Select and insert the correct adapter for your iPod or iPhone.
Note: The adapters are marked. Make sure the correct dock
adapter is used to avoid damage to the dock connecter.)
2Insert your iPod or iPhone into the dock.
3Press to turn on your speaker dock.
4Press on the remote control or on the docked iPod or
iPhone to start playing a music or video le.
5To control playback:
• Press to pause or resume playback.
• Press to turn o the speaker sound. Press again to turn
the sound back on.
• Press or to go to the previous or next le.
• Press and hold or to search backward or forward
in a le.
• Press (repeat) once to repeat the current le.
Press twice to repeat the entire album or playlist. Press three
times to turn o the repeat feature.
• Press (shue) to play les randomly. Press again to
turn o the shue feature.
6Press to o your speaker dock.

Sound is not clear or Make sure that the iPod or iPhone is inserted
there is no sound correctly and that you are using the correct
adapter.
No power Make sure that the AC adapter is connected
securely and correctly.
Sound is too low or Press the VOLUME – button to turn down
too distorted the volume.
Too much distortion If you are using batteries, the battery charge
may be low. Replace the batteries.
Cannot exit standby mode Make sure that there is no cable connected
when playing music from to the LINE IN jack.
