FOREWORD
All machine
(1)
and equipment de igned and manufactured by ROJ are upplied
with the relative u er ’ manual in compliance with the E ential Safety Requirement
(ESR) 1.7.4 - Instructions – Annex I of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Since the Machinery Directive requirement , fir t of all ESR in Annex I are legally
binding obligations, ROJ put a pecial empha i on all ESR 1.7.4 point during the
drafting pha e of the e manual, in particular:
1. The ROJ u er and maintenance manual are upplied in the language of
machine target country, within the European Union and, when nece ary, an
“ Original language ” copy of the manual i al o provided.
2. The ROJ manual alway contain a “ proforma ” copy of the EC Declaration of
Conformity (or a “ proforma ” copy of the Declaration of Incorporation of the
“ Partly completed machinery ” for the relevant machine. The e have ju t an
indicative value, and they hall not be con idered ub titutive of the actual
Declaration of Conformity Incorporation ub cribed by the upplier, and
delivered eparately to the Cu tomer.
3. ROJ U e and Maintenance manual contain the information deemed important
and nece ary by the Manufacturer in order to:
Correctly under tand the functioning principle of the machine.
Carry out all the handling/mounting, in tallation/power ource cabling in
sa e conditions, keeping into account the po ible danger related to the
above activitie and giving direction , pre cription and ugge tion ari ing
from a careful ri k a e ment by the Manufacturer according to the
principle of the EN 12100:2010 Harmonized Standard and of the ISO/TR
14121-2 Ri k A e ment Guide.
Properly u e the machine ( afety device , emergency device , operating
procedure etc.) in Sa e conditions, drawing the operator ’ attention on
the po ible “ Re idual ri k ” , i.e. the till remaining ri k de pite all the
afety mea ure taken after the ri k a e ment a previou ly mentioned.
Carry out the ordinary/preventive maintenance of the machine

conditions, al o drawing in thi ca e the maintenance man ’ attention on
the po ible Re idual ri k .
4. ROJ U e and Maintenance Manual do not only de cribe the intended u e of
the machine

, but they al o give information about the improper u e which
can rea onably be fore een, ba ed on the Manufacturer ’ experience.

SAFETY
In relation to the ri k analy i and a e ment activitie carried out in accordance
with the principle of the EN 12100: 2010 Harmonized Standard (a de cribed in 3
above), ROJ elect the variou component of the control and afety y tem in a
way a to en ure a reliability level uitable to the actual everity of the hazard. To
thi purpo e we have followed the requirement of the EN 13849-1:2015
Harmonized Standard. Where the everity of the hazard i high (3 or 4 according to
the cla ification of EN 12100:2010 Standard), the countermea ure adopted are
carefully evaluated in order to guarantee the nece ary afety margin , through
redundancy or over izing principle .

comply with the Immunity and Electromagnetic Radiation Limit
defined by the EN ISO 14982: 2009 Harmonized Standard for Indu trial
Environment . .
The ROJ U er and Maintenance Manual contain the updated li t of the harmonized
tandard applied during the de ign tage to guarantee the compliance with the
E ential Safety Requirement Li ted on Annex I of 2006/42/EC Directive, while the
de ign and implementation detail are de cribed on the Technical File kept by the
manufacturer according to the pre cription of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
(1) The term "Machine" as used in this manual generally refers to the definition given in the
Machine Directive, 2006 42 EC and therefore includes both complete machinery
capable of performing a well-defined function and the "partly completed machinery", i.e.
drive systems or devices which cannot in themselves perform a specific function as
they are intended to be incorporated into a complete Machine.

Compliance with the European Directives and Regulations
Below i and extract of the Declaration o Incorporation, drawn up in accordance
with the requirement of Annex II B to 2006/42/EC Directive, by which ROJ declare
that the following “ partly completed machinery ” :

which it ha to be incorporated with the requirement of the 2006/42 /EC Directive -
Annex II A - relating to the machine afety i en ured by the Manufacturer of the
agricultural machinery or the y tem integrator and that for it de ign and
manufacturing the principle and concept introduced by the applicable paragraph
of the following Harmonized Standard were adopted:

•EN ISO13849-1:2015 • EN ISO13849-2:2012
•EN ISO 4254-1:2015 • EN 14018:2010
•EN ISO 14982: 2009
The equipment complie with the requirement of the 2014/30/EU Directive

ROJ complied with the following EHSR (E ential health and afety requirement )

completed machinery via email or FTP, upon rea onable reque t made by the
relevant national authoritie .
 The above indications are merely indicative and shall not be considered as
replacing the real Conformity Declaration signed and released by the
Manufacturer.
Note 1: The PCS FS and PCS 150 kits are a subset of the PCS 200 kit
