RF401s Single Channel Remote Control / With Timer
DESCRIPTION
AUTOMATE RF401s is a Single channel 433MHz wall mounted control-
ler compatible with the AUTOMATE EL motor range. It includes a daily
Timer Function and large LCD display.

Charging
The motor work with Li-ion battery, please have it charged when the motor stop working or work
faltering. Please plug the charger into the charger hole on the motor head, the charging time is
5 to 6 hours.
FAQ
If nothing works, please check:
●if the motor does not working or works faltering, please charging the motor battery firstly
●If the motor runs to a direction continually, the user didn't setup limit successfully, please re-set
limit.

ROLLER BLINDS 40mm MOTORISATION
ENSURE 'NOTCH' OF CROWN WHEEL
LOCKS WITHIN GAP OF MOTOR HEAD.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Install Crown Wheel onto40mm Motor. Ensure 'notch' of Crown
Wheellocks within gap of Motor Head.
STEP 2:
Install Drive Wheelonto40mm Motor.
NOTE:
* For Elero Motors, use 'O' ring supplied by Elero to lock Drive Wheel to
40mm Motor.
* For Gaposa Motors, use Gaposa Retaining Clipto lock Drive Wheel
to40mm Motor.
* For Selve Motors, use plastic retaining clip supplied by Selve to lock
Drive Wheelto 40mm Motor.
STEP 3:
Mount 40mm Motor Disk Adaptor onto Motor headwith Counter
Sunk Screws.

Cutting power before limit setting process is complete will result in loss of pairing.
To reset motor P2 + STOP + P2. Removes all emitters & deletes limits.

Please cycle blind up and down to settle fabric prior to setting limits

TIME & DAY SETTING
Hold MODE for 2 sec.
TO SWITCH BETWEEN MODES
Hold TIME SETTING BUTTON for 3 sec.
Adjust by pressing UP or DOWN
Befor starting ensure
MANUAL mode is
active first.
ENTER SETTING MODE
Press TIME SETTING BUTTON again
to toggle between HOUR / MINUTE or
DAY settings.
Hold TIME CONFIRM button >3 sec.

Short press TIME SETTING button
to start clock. The seconds indicator

Hold TIME SETTING BUTTON for 3 sec.
Before starting ensure
AUTO mode is active.
Adjust setting by pressing UP or DOWN
ENTER TIMER SETTING MODE

(O) Switch between UP & DOWN command

Hold TIME CONFIRM button >3 sec or wait 60 seconds. (HOUR & MIN FLASHES)
CONFIRM AND EXIT TIMER SETTING MODE
SET UP & DOWN COMMAND FOR EACH DAY

SETTING TIME TO “--:--” WILL DISABLE TIMER FUNCTION FOR A PARTICULAR EVENT SETTING.
TIMER SETTING MODE WILL AUTOMATICALLY EXIT AFTER 60 SECONDS.
A MINIMUM INTERVAL OF 32 MINUTES IS REQUIRED BETWEEN UP & DOWN COMMANDS. SETTING
AN UP / DOWN INTERVAL WITHIN 32 MINUTES WILL RESULT IN AN ERROR “ER01”

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE REMEDY
Motor is not responding Transmitter battery is dis-
charged
Replace battery
Battery is inserted incorrectly Check battery polarity
Radio interference / Shielding Ensure transmitter is positioned away from metal objects and
that aerial on motor or receiver is kept straight and away from
metal.
Receiver distance is too far
from transmitter
Move transmitter to a closer position.
Power failure Check power supply to motor is connected and active.
Incorrect wiring Check wiring is connected correctly (refer to motor installation
instructions)
“ER01” appears on LCD Timer UP & DOWN settings
are within 32 minutes to each
other.
Re-program timer settings. UP & DOWN times must be great-
er than 32 minutes of each other.
How to delete all transmitters & limits. P2 + STOP + P2.
