REAR PANEL
SPEAKER OUTPUT: Push terminals for speaker wire.
PHONO: RCA for connection to a record player
IN 2: RCA stereo input
PS24: For connection to the included power supply.
GROUND POST: Standard phono grounding post.
FRONT PANEL
VOLUME: Adjusts the level of signal.
IN 1: 3.5mm jack: For connection to a phone, music player or computer. TRS
Stereo (left, right and ground).
HEADPHONE: Headphone output jack 3.5mm stereo.
INPUT SELECTOR SWITCH: Selects channel used.
NOTE: THIS MANUAL ASSUMES THE USER HAS A WORKING KNOWL-
EDGE OF AUDIO ELECTRONICS, BALANCED AND UNBALANCED CON-
NECTIONS, AND PROPER SIGNAL LEVEL SETTING.

1. Unpack and inspect the MA258 box and package.
If obvious physical damage is noticed, contact the carrier immediately to make a
damage claim. We suggest saving the shipping carton and packing materials for
safely transporting the unit in the future.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase of the MA258.The MA258 is intended for high end
audiophile speakers or headphone listening. It has a FR4(V94-0) rated glass
epoxy circuit board, and a powder coated all steel chassis. It is designed to last.
OPERATION
The MA258 was designed to have the highest level of sound quality, whether
you are using it as a headphone amp or with speakers. At every design stage we
spent a considerable amount of time focused on one thing, sound quality.
The inputs and outputs of the MA258 are self explanatory. Plug a signal in, select
the source, and connect to your desired headphones or speakers.
One thing to note about the MA258 is the speakers are the default output. When
you plug Headphones into the headphone jack on the front of the unit. The power
amp section is then completely disconnected from the circuit. Meaning that when
using the Headphone output of the MA258 the unit is only a headphone amplier.
