240V power outlet.

Assembling Your Fan
Adjusting Fan Speed
Slide the speed dial for the required
fan speed.
The following settings are available:
0 - The Fan is switched O
1 - The Fan operates at the lowest
speed
2 - The Fan operates at the
medium speed
3 - The Fan operates at the highest
speed
Place the upper foot crosswise on
the lower foot (see Fig. 1).
Insert the stand and screw it
securely to the feet (see Fig. 2).
Loosen and remove the height
adjusting control. Insert the base
cover into the extension tube,
covering the base then screw
back the height adjusting control.
You can adjust the extension
tube to the desired height before
tightening the height adjusting
control (see Fig. 3).

WARNING: Avoid using
your fan in hazardous
areas.
Do not use your fan
if it has not been fully
assembled. Make sure
that the screws that
hold the base parts
and the main unit
together are tightened
securely.
Do not connect the
unit to the power
outlet until the
assembly is nished.
Loosen and remove the xing
screw, insert the motor unit into the
extension tube then screw back
and tighten the xing screw (see
Fig. 4).
Insert the rear guard into the motor
unit. Secure the rear guard with the
lock washer. Then insert the blade
and secure it with the blade nut
(see Fig. 5).

Handling the Remote
Control
Do not drop or cause
impact to the remote
control.
Do not spill water
or any liquid on the
remote control.
Do not place the
remote control on a
wet object.
Do not place the
remote control under
direct sunlight or near
sources of excessive
heat.
Remove the battery
from the remote
control when not in
use for a long period
of time, as it could
cause corrosion or
battery leakage and
may result in physical
injury and/or property
damage including re.

Attach the front guard to the rear
guard with the rim and secure with
the screw.
Installing Batteries In The
Remote Control
Remove the battery cover, insert
2 batteries (AAA) into the battery
compartment, make sure the
polarities match, then replace the
battery cover back on the remote
control.
Handling the Batteries
Improper or incorrect
use of the batteries
may cause corrosion
or battery leakage,
which could cause
re, personal injury or
damage to property.
Only use the battery
type indicated in this
manual.
When the batteries are
exhausted, the remote
will not function.
Do not dispose of used
batteries as domestic
waste. Dispose of them
in accordance with
local regulations.
Switching Fan On/O
Press on the unit or the remote
control to turn the fan on or o.

Adjusting Fan Speed
Press
on the unit or the remote
control to adjust the fan speed.
The following settings are available:
L - The Fan operates at the lowest
speed
M - The Fan operates at the
medium speed
H - The Fan operates at the highest
speed
NOTE: If the force of air coming
from the unit is weak, adjust the
speed up to a higher setting.
WARNING: If the
unit does not work,
check that the plug is
connected correctly
and that the unit is
turned on at the mains
supply.
If there are other
abnormal conditions,
disconnect the fan
and consult a repair
specialist.
Selecting Fan Mode
Press
on the unit or the remote
control repeatedly to select
dierent modes:
Normal
: the air ow speed
depends on the speed selected
Natural
: simulate natural wind
Sleep
: steady and slow speed
Setting The Timer
Press on the unit or the remote
control to set the timer from 1 to 9
hours.
To cancel the set timer, press .
Adjusting Fan Oscillation
To make the fan head oscillate,
push the oscillating control down.
To stop the oscillation, pull the
oscillating control up.
Adjusting Fan Head
The head of the fan can be
adjusted up or down manually.
Adjusting Fan Height
The height of the fan can be
adjusted up or down. To do this,
loosen the height adjusting control,
pull on the extension tube to the
desired height, then tighten the
height adjusting control.

Cleaning After Use
Always ensure that the power is
turned o at the power point. Then
remove the plug from the power
point.
Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe
the outer body of the unit.
Never completely cover the unit
with water or use chemicals or
detergents as they could damage
the unit in some way.
Storage
Always unplug the pedestal fan
from the power point before
storage.
Ensure the pedestal fan is clean.
Wrap the power cord around the
fan body.
The packing carton supplied with
this product is an ideal storage box.
