FILLING THE PRODUCT
1. Use only high quality fuel like Ronson or
Zippo Butane Fuel to fill and refill. Use of
other low quality fuels may result in damage
to the filling valve and could cause clogging.
2. Before filling, ensure that Product is
extinguished.
3. Allow sufficient time for the Product to
cool to room temperature before refilling
4. Do not refuel over containers such as
sinks or near a flame. Butane tends to
settle and collect in the lowest point.
5. Hold the product with the Butane Refill
Valve up.
6. For safe filling: ensure proper mating
between fuel can and Refill Valve.
7. Invert the fuel can and insert the tip of
the butane into the Product Refill Valve.
(Figure 2)
8. Apply firm pressure to allow fuel to flow
into the Product’s fuel tank until full.
9. Do not overfill.
10. After filling the Product, allow at least
2 minutes for the butane to stabilize
before igniting.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Product produces a precision blue flame
suitable for various hobby and household
projects including soldering, heating, melting,
and thawing. Not intended for commercial use
or for extended periods of burn time.
The length of the flame is adjustable and the
Product is equipped with an air mixture control
to adjust the flame temperature down from
the high temperature blue flame to a lower
temperature yellow flame, which can be used
for bending glass.
WARNING: When using, ignite away from face
and clothing. Be sure flame is out after use.
1. For ignition, be sure the Air Mix Slide (E)
on top of the Product is moved towards the
Flame Nozzle (F).
2. Fully engage the Child Resistant Lock (C)
by firmly gripping the Product. With Child
Resistant Lock (C) fully engaged, press the
Gas Ignition Trigger (B) to ignite the flame.
Release the Gas Ignition Trigger (B) and
the Child Resistant Lock (C) to extinguish
the flame.
3. To adjust the flame size, move the Flame
Adjuster (D) toward “+” for a higher flame
and “–” for a lower flame.
4. To work with yellow flame, move the Air
Mix Slide (E) away from the Flame Nozzle
(F) to limit the flow of air into the burner.
Change the flame only after ignition.
5. To return to blue flame move the Air Mix
Slide (E) towards the Flame Nozzle (F).
