We thank you for choosing your new ROOST product. Please read the
indications and instructions in this manual before using your new ROOST bag.
This user manual contains instructions for use and care that will help you
achieve maximum usability and correct conservation of your ROOST bag.
For all our bags, we place the combination of innovation and technique
acquired during so many years dedicated to the world of the motorcycle
at your service.
All ROOST products are designed and conceived in Barcelona, a city with
a long motorcycling tradition, our bags and products bring together the
passion we feel for the motorcycle.

HOW TO FIT THE BAG
Before using a ROOST backpack it is very important to take into account the different types
of settings you have. It will be these adjustments that keep the backpack well attached
to our back and shoulders to be able to carry loads safely and comfortably.
1. The chest straps finish fixing the shoulder pads to the body providing greater
stability while riding. Once adjusted and closed together, they join the two
shoulder pads on the chest. You can adjust them in height for greater comfort (2).
In the case of women, this tape is usually a little higher to avoid discomfort
with the chest
3. The hipbelt secures the lower part of the backpack to the body, above the hips,
avoiding that it swings and that the load hits us against the back. Its function is
stabilize the backpack on the back. Always keep it fastened while riding.
4. The shoulder pads must be tense and go over the chest and shoulders maintaining contact
with the body. If they are not completely tight, the backpack will not be completely fixed to the
back that can unbalance the weight. Use the fast adjustement for your perfect adjust very
quickly and easily before riding.
Always carry the backpack securely fastened while riding. wear loose straps
or poorly adjusted could cause injury during sports activity or in case of fall or
accident. Do never adjust your backpack while riding, always do it standing still.
Always put heavy things at the bottom of the backpack In the pockets,
distribute the material that you transport.

WATERPROOF
STANDARD MAINTENANCE
This backpack is made of 100% waterproof nylon on the outside, which will keep your
cargo dry in wet or muddy conditions when carried on the back. In addition, the zippers
seal against water and have flap that covers them in the closed position.
So it is waterproof in rainy conditions.
However, this backpack is not intended to be submerged in water.
After each use, make sure to clean the backpack thoroughly. clean the zippers regularly
using neutral soap, warm water and a soft brush. This will help keep them in perfect
condition. If the backpack is wet, hang it up to dry away from direct light. Loosen all the
straps. Wash the backpack if it has dirt, sweat, salt or stains on fabrics, straps or handles.
WASHING
Empty the backpack of food debris, dirt or content that has been spilled. Do not wash
the backpack in the washing machine, do it by hand. Clean the backpack and its
components with neutral detergent and lukewarm water. Shake the backpack lightly.
Rub the inside and outside of all compartments and pockets with a soft brush. Clean
zippers with neutral soap, warm water and a soft brush. Cleaning dirt and debris from
zippers and buckles will help keep them in perfect state. Empty the used dirty water
and rinse the backpack with cold water without soap. Repeat this step if necessary.
To dry, hang the backpack outdoors or in an area well ventilated and away from direct
sunlight or heat sources.
We do not recommend washing this backpack in a washing machine due to the harsh
elements that could be damaged as well as the use of hot water can cause damage to
the layer nylon, compromising its waterproofing capacity in future uses. Also,
the use of hot water can cause damage and wrinkles in the nylon shell.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Rinse and clean the bladder after use to keep it fresh, especially when using mixes of sugary
drinks. The use of iodine tablets or other purifying tablets will not affect the quality of the bladder.
However, these pills can leave stains over time. Freeze the bladder either will affect its quality.
If it is filled with water, remember that water expands when it freezes and can damage it if it gets
too full. Do not pour boiling or very hot water (+50ºc) into the bladder. This may damage it and
will void the warranty. Do not use this bladder with acidic, alcoholic or milk-based beverages.
While you do not use this hydrationbladder, store it in a clean, dry place and away from direct light.

FILLING HYDRATION BLADDER
To open the hydration bladder, pull the lock slider off and unfold the opening of the bladder.
For filling, make sure firstly the exit spout is correctly sealed with the tube’s connector
(you can tighten it clockwise) Do not fill over max-fill indicator of 1.5 litres.
To close the hydration bladder, fold the opening and then pass throught the lock slider on.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn Bladder inside out. Clean with detergent and brush, rinse clear. Top-shelf dishwasher safe.
Clean and dry between uses. Store out of direct sunlight, in clean, and dry space.
For a better maintenance, apply a food-grade silicone lubricant to the slider lock regularly.
NOZZLE
The hydration bladder nozzle of this backpack is sealed. remove the seal
before using it for the first time. Some users may notice a taste similar to
plastic at first, it is normal in products made of TPU and disappears over time.
To facilitate cleaning of the nozzle, it can be easily disassembled/assembled.
For it, remove the grey clip with your fingers.

All ROOST products have a minimum warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, due to
defects in their materials or manufacture, or because of the legal warranty period
depending on the country of purchase. This warranty covers both materials and labor.
It does not cover products that have suffered an accident, impact or that have not followed
the care or maintenance indicated in this manual. It also does not cover misuse, negligence
or if the product has been tampered with.
Fluorescent paints or graphics are also not covered by this warranty, as they may become
discolored over time and/or due to exposure of the product to the weather or sunlight.

CÓMO AJUSTAR TU MOCHILA CORRECTAMENTE
Antes de usar una mochila ROOST es muy importante tener en cuenta los diferentes tipos
de ajustes con los que cuenta. Serán esto ajustes los que mantengan la mochila bien acoplada
a nuestra espalda y hombros para poder llevar cargas con seguridad y comodidad.
1. Las cintas de pecho terminan de fijar las hombreras al cuerpo proporcionando mayor
estabilidad durante la conducción. Una vez ajustadas y cerradas entre sí, unen las dos
hombreras sobre el pecho. Puedes ajustarlas en altura para mayor comodidad (2).
En el caso de mujeres, esta cinta suele quedar un poco más arriba para evitar molestias
con el pecho.
3. El cinturón lumbar fija la parte inferior de la mochila al cuerpo, por encima de las caderas,
evitando que se balancee y que la carga nos golpee contra la espalda. Su función es de
estabilizar la mochila sobre la espalda. Mantenla siempre abrochada durante la conducción.
4. Las hombreras han de estar tensas y recorrer el pecho y hombros manteniendo el contacto
con el cuerpo. Si no quedaran del todo tensas, la mochila no quedará totalmente fijada a la
espalda lo cual puede desequilibrar el peso. Utiliza los tiradores rápidos para su perfecto
ajuste de forma muy rápida y sencilla antes de conducir la moto.
Lleva siempre la mochila bien sujeta mientras conduces. Llevar correas sueltas
o mal ajustadas podría provocar lesiones durente la actividad deportiva o en
caso de caída o accidente. Nunca ajustes tu mochila mientras conduces,
hazlo siempre en parado. Pon el material pesado siempre en el fondo de la mochila.
En los bolsillos, repartir el material que transportes.

MANTENIMIENTO ESTÁNDAR
Esta mochila está fabricada exteriormente en nylon 100% impermeable lo que te
permitirá mantener tu carga seca en condiciones de lluvia o barro cuando se lleva
sobre la espalda. Además, las cremalleras sellan contra el agua y disponen de
tapeta que las cubre en la posición cerrada.
Así que es impermeable en condiciones de lluvia.
Sin embargo, esta mochila no está indicada para ser sumergida dentro del agua.
Tras cada uso, asegúrate de limpiar la mochila en profundidad. Limpia las cremalleras
de forma regular usando un jabón neutro, agua tibia y un cepillo suave. Esto ayudará a
que se mantengan en perfecto estado. Si la mochila está mojada, cuélgala para seque
lejos de la luz directa. Afloja todas las correas. Lava la mochila si tiene tierra, sudor, sal
o manchas en los tejidos, las correas olas asas.
LAVADO
Vacía la mochila de restos de comida, suciedad o contenido que se haya derramado.
No laves la mochila en la lavadora, hazlo a mano. Limpia la mochila y sus componentes
con detergente neutro y agua tibia. Sacude la mochila ligeramente.
Frota el interior y el exterior de todos los compartimentos y también los bolsillos con un
cepillo suave. Limpia las cremalleras con jabón neutro, agua tibia y un cepillo suave.
Limpiar la suciedad y los residuos de las cremalleras y las hebillas ayudará a mantenerlas
en perfecto estado. Vacía el agua sucia usada y aclara la mochila con agua fría sin jabón.
Repite este paso si es necesario. Para secar, cuelga la mochila al aire libre o en una zona
bien ventilada y alejada de la luz directa del sol o de fuentes de calor.
No recomendamos el lavado de esta mochila en lavadora debido a los elementos duros
que podrían estropearse así como el uso de agua caliente puede provocar daños en la capa
de nylon comprometiendo su capacidad de impermeabilidad en usos futuros. Además,
el uso de agua caliente puede provocar daños y arrugas en el nylon.

1 Cierre tipo deslizador/slide para lograr un sellado hermético antigoteo.
2 Bolsa TPU de 1.5 litros de capacidad para agua y líquidos.

estés en el campo.
8 Boquilla con apertura/cierre automático que proporcionan un ángulo para beber ergonómico y un mayor flujo
de líquido cuando se necesita.
9. Clip sujección boquilla
+ Película de TPU (poliuretano termoplástico) altamente resistente, flexible, duradero y libre de BPA/PVC
+ Costuras soldadas por radio frecuencia adheridas a nivel molecular para asegurar un rendimiento seguro
+ Apta para lavavajillas (rejilla superior) con agua fría.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Aclara y limpia la reserva después de usarla para mantenerla fresca, especialmente cuando uses mezclas
de bebidas azucaradas. El uso de pastillas de yodo u otras pastillas purificantes no afectarán a la calidad de
la reserva. Sin embargo, dichas pastillas pueden dejar manchas con el tiempo. Congelar la reserva tampoco
afectará a su calidad. Sin embargo, si está llena de agua, recuerda que el agua se expande cuando se congela
y puede dañarla si se llena demasiado. No verter agua hirviendo en la reserva o muy caliente (+50ºc). Esto
puede dañarla y anulará la garantía. No utilices esta bolsa con bebidas ácidas, alcoholicas o de base láctea.
Mientras no uses esta reserva, gúadarla en un lugar limpio, seco y alejado de la luz directa.

RELLENO DE LA RESERVA DE HIDRATACIÓN
Para abrir la reserva de hidratación, tira del deslizador de bloqueo y despliegua la apertura de
la reserva. Para el llenado, asegúrate primero de que el la salida del tubo de hidratación esté
correctamente sellado con el conector del propio tubo (puedes apretarlo en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj) No sobrepases del indicador de llenado máximo de 1,5 litros. Para cerrar la
reserva de hidratación, dobla la abertura y pasa el deslizadorpara su sellado y bloqueo completo.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Gira la bolsa de la reserva al revés. Limpia con jabón neutro y cepillo, enjuagando después.
Apta para lavavajillas en el estante superior.
Limpiar y secar entre usos. Almacenar fuera de la luz solar directa, en un espacio limpio y seco.
Para un mejor mantenimiento, aplique regularmente un lubricante de silicona apto para uso
alimentario en el deslizador del cierre.
BOQUILLA
La boquilla de la reserva de hidratación de esta mochila viene precintada. Retira el precinto
antes de utilizarla por primera vez. Algunos usuarios pueden notar un sabor parecido al
plástico al principio, es normal en productos abricados en TPU y desaparece con el tiempo.
Para facilitar la limpieza de la boquilla, puede desarmarse / armarse facilmente. Para ello,
retira el clip de color gris con los dedos. Vuelve a colocarla antes de rellenar la reserva.

de su compra, por defectos en sus materiales o en la fabricación, o por el periodo
legal de garantía dependiendo del país de compra.
Esta garantía cubre tanto materiales como mano de obra. No cubre artículos que
hayan sufrido un accidente, impacto o no hayan seguido el cuidado o mantenimiento
indicado en este manual. Tampoco cubre el uso indebido, negligencia o si el producto
ha sido manipulado.
Las pinturas o gráficos fluorescentes tampoco quedan cubiertos por esta garantía, ya que
es posible que se decoloren con el paso del tiempo y/o por la exposición del producto a la
intemperie o luz solar.
