USER MANUAL
We thank you for choosing your new ROOST product. Please read the
indications and instructions in this manual before using your new ROOST bag.
This user manual contains instructions for use and care that will help you
achieve maximum usability and correct conservation of your ROOST bag.
For all our bags, we place the combination of innovation and technique
acquired during so many years dedicated to the world of the motorcycle
at your service.
All ROOST products are designed and conceived in Barcelona, a city with
a long motorcycling tradition, our bags and products bring together the
passion we feel for the motorcycle.

HOW TO FIT THE BAG
Before using a ROOST backpack it is very important to take into account the different types
of settings you have. It will be these adjustments that keep the backpack well attached
to our back and shoulders to be able to carry loads safely and comfortably.
1. The chest straps finish fixing the shoulder pads to the body providing greater
stability while riding. Once adjusted and closed together, they join the two
shoulder pads on the chest. You can adjust them in height for greater comfort (2).
In the case of women, this tape is usually a little higher to avoid discomfort
with the chest
3. The hipbelt secures the lower part of the backpack to the body, above the hips,
avoiding that it swings and that the load hits us against the back. Its function is
stabilize the backpack on the back. Always keep it fastened while riding.
4. The shoulder pads must be tense and go over the chest and shoulders maintaining contact
with the body. If they are not completely tight, the backpack will not be completely fixed to the
back that can unbalance the weight. Use the fast adjustement for your perfect adjust very
quickly and easily before riding.
Always carry the backpack securely fastened while riding. wear loose straps
or poorly adjusted could cause injury during sports activity or in case of fall or
accident. Do never adjust your backpack while riding, always do it standing still.
Always put heavy things at the bottom of the backpack In the pockets,
distribute the material that you transport.

WATERPROOF
STANDARD MAINTENANCE
This backpack is made of 100% waterproof nylon on the outside, which will keep your
cargo dry in wet or muddy conditions when carried on the back. In addition, the zippers
seal against water and have flap that covers them in the closed position.
So it is waterproof in rainy conditions.
However, this backpack is not intended to be submerged in water.
After each use, make sure to clean the backpack thoroughly. clean the zippers regularly
using neutral soap, warm water and a soft brush. This will help keep them in perfect
condition. If the backpack is wet, hang it up to dry away from direct light. Loosen all the
straps. Wash the backpack if it has dirt, sweat, salt or stains on fabrics, straps or handles.
WASHING
Empty the backpack of food debris, dirt or content that has been spilled. Do not wash
the backpack in the washing machine, do it by hand. Clean the backpack and its
components with neutral detergent and lukewarm water. Shake the backpack lightly.
Rub the inside and outside of all compartments and pockets with a soft brush. Clean
zippers with neutral soap, warm water and a soft brush. Cleaning dirt and debris from
zippers and buckles will help keep them in perfect state. Empty the used dirty water
and rinse the backpack with cold water without soap. Repeat this step if necessary.
To dry, hang the backpack outdoors or in an area well ventilated and away from direct
sunlight or heat sources.
We do not recommend washing this backpack in a washing machine due to the harsh
elements that could be damaged as well as the use of hot water can cause damage to
the layer nylon, compromising its waterproofing capacity in future uses. Also,
the use of hot water can cause damage and wrinkles in the nylon shell.

1 Slider closure for leak-tight seal.
2 1.5 litre capacity TPU bag for water and liquids.
3 Flexible kink-resistant TPU tube that allows rapid flow of water and liquid.
4 Wide-mouth opening makes emptying and filling a breeze.

7 Clip on/off system makes it easy to remove and empty the reservoir when
you are in the countryside.
8 Auto open/close spouts provide an ergonomic drinking angle and increased flow
of liquid when needed.
9. Mouthpiece retaining clip
+ Highly resistant, flexible, durable and BPA/PVC free TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) film
+ Radio frequency welded seams bonded at the molecular level to ensure safe performance
+ Dishwasher safe (top rack) with cold water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Rinse and clean the bladder after use to keep it fresh, especially when using mixes of sugary
drinks. The use of iodine tablets or other purifying tablets will not affect the quality of the bladder.
However, these pills can leave stains over time. Freeze the bladder either will affect its quality.
If it is filled with water, remember that water expands when it freezes and can damage it if it gets
too full. Do not pour boiling or very hot water (+50ºc) into the bladder. This may damage it and
will void the warranty. Do not use this bladder with acidic, alcoholic or milk-based beverages.
While you do not use this hydrationbladder, store it in a clean, dry place and away from direct light.

FILLING HYDRATION BLADDER
To open the hydration bladder, pull the lock slider off and unfold the opening of the bladder.
For filling, make sure firstly the exit spout is correctly sealed with the tube’s connector
(you can tighten it clockwise) Do not fill over max-fill indicator of 1.5 litres.
To close the hydration bladder, fold the opening and then pass throught the lock slider on.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn Bladder inside out. Clean with detergent and brush, rinse clear. Top-shelf dishwasher safe.
Clean and dry between uses. Store out of direct sunlight, in clean, and dry space.
For a better maintenance, apply a food-grade silicone lubricant to the slider lock regularly.
NOZZLE
The hydration bladder nozzle of this backpack is sealed. remove the seal
before using it for the first time. Some users may notice a taste similar to
plastic at first, it is normal in products made of TPU and disappears over time.
To facilitate cleaning of the nozzle, it can be easily disassembled/assembled.
For it, remove the grey clip with your fingers.

All ROOST products have a minimum warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, due to
defects in their materials or manufacture, or because of the legal warranty period
depending on the country of purchase. This warranty covers both materials and labor.
It does not cover products that have suffered an accident, impact or that have not followed
the care or maintenance indicated in this manual. It also does not cover misuse, negligence
or if the product has been tampered with.
Fluorescent paints or graphics are also not covered by this warranty, as they may become
discolored over time and/or due to exposure of the product to the weather or sunlight.
