INFORMATION BEFORE MOUNTING
• Anchor points may only be installed by
qualified persons.
• Ensure that terminations are per designed
strength.
• Ensure that both children and adults can
reach the TWEEZLE KEY easily. If necessary,
attach appropriate steps to the platforms.
• To ensure best climbing fun with the LockD
Clips system, RPE recommends installing
the securing wire ropes at a height of 1.00
m (3.2 ft) to 2.00 m (6.5 ft), depending
on the LockD Clips length and size of the
participants. Observe/read the User Manual
of the LockD Clips system.
• It should be possible to reach the
TWEEZLE KEY without excessive bending of
the LockD Clips system.
• Color use must be clearly explained to
the participant because simultaneous
tweezling with both carabiners can
damage the LockD Clips cable.
• We recommend installing waiting loops so
that slower guests can be overtaken and
several people can wait on a platform.
• Avoid courses where guests are tempted
to trick or manipulate the system, e.g.
labyrinths, dead ends.
VISUAL/FUNCTION TEST
• Ensure that the TWEEZLE KEY is
undamaged before mounting.
• Test the function of the identification marks
on the LockD Clips system before using.

MOUNTING / USE OF THE TWEEZLE KEY
MOUNTING
A. Mount the TWEEZLE KEY as close as possible
to the obstacle or element that needs to be
passed (tree).
B. The distances between the TWEEZLE KEYS
must be kept as small as possible but far
enough apart so that it is not possible to skip
or tweezle both carabiners at the same time
and bend the LockD Clips.
C. Ensure that the TWEEZLE KEY is mounted
so that the LockD Clips hook falls down after
tweezling. This avoids bending loads. Avoid
vertical ascent.
D. On zip lines or other rolling devices, attach
the TWEEZLE KEYS so that the LockD Clips
carabiner cannot become caught at the
start, i.e. steps must be taken to ensure that
the LockD Clips does not get stuck in the
TWEEZLE KEY or slide behind it.
E. Install the TWEEZLE KEY halves onto the
securing wire rope, making sure the TWEEZLE
KEY does not move.
F. If necessary affix using the assembly clamps
Screw the screws M5 into TWEEZLE KEY
using an appropriate wrench.
CAUTION:
Avoid over-tightening as this could damage the
TWEEZLE KEY.
