Your iron h s been designed to oper te using untre ted t p w ter. If in doubt, check with your
loc l w ter uthority. However, if your w ter is very h rd, you c n mix 50% untre ted t p w ter
with 50% distilled or deminer lised w ter.
IMPORTANT Before doing nything else, remove the sticker on the side fig.1
W rning! Before using your iron with the ste m function for the first time, we
recommend th t you oper te the ste m in horizont l position for few moments,
w y from your linen, i.e. press the Shot of Ste m button few times.
During the first few uses, h rmless odour nd sm ll mount of smoke m y be

This h s no effect on the use of the iron nd will ce se quickly.
Upon the first use, you m y notice sm ll p rticles coming out of the solepl te. This
is p rf of m nuf cturing process nd is not h rmful to you or your g rments. It will
dis ppe r fter sever l uses. You m y cceler te this by using the self cle ning
function (fig.13a - 13b) nd sh king the iron gently.

WHAT WATER MAY BE USED ?

gener tor built inside the iron. With unp r lleled ste m gener tion c p city re ching
220g/min nd v ri ble ste m of up to 50g/min, Ste mforce pushes up to 35% more
steam** into the fibres of your fabric. This extr ste m t the he rt of the f bric is the
secret of perfect ironing nd long-l sting results.
The movement sensor is n intelligent system which tempor rily stops ste m being
rele sed when the iron is not moving, even when it is pl ced horizont lly. This function
elimin tes w sted ste m while you re h ndling the clothes !

c use spitting, brown st ining or prem ture we r of the ppli nce:
w ter from tumble dryers, scented or softened w ter, w ter from refriger tors,
b tteries or ir conditioners, pure distilled or deminer lised w ter or r in w ter should
not be used in your iron. Also do not use boiling, or bottled miner l w ter.

• Before filling the w ter t nk, unplug the iron fig.2.
• Set the temper ture control di l fig.3 on position (Min.)
• Open the filling inlet fig.4. Fill in w ter up to the M x. m rk. fig.5. Close the filling
inlet nd return the iron to the horizont l position.

2 • Setting the temper ture
Your iron is equipped with the Autoste m function, it utom tic lly djusts the
ste m mount nd the temper ture b sed on the selected f bric for optimum
results.
Select the f bric to be ironed on the thermost t di l. For perfect results, n optimum
position for e ch f bric h s been pre-defined. This position is m rked on the di l.
You c n lso set your iron b sed on the intern tion l temper ture me surements •,
••, •••. Ensure your thermost t di l is positioned on these settings.
When your iron re ches the required temper ture, the thermost t indic tor turns off
