☛Do a quick inventory to make sure the product contains all the parts and hardware.
☛Missing, damaged and defective parts can be replaced at no cost to you. Please
refer to the CO TACT and the WARRA TY cards included with the product.
☛If during assembly you find an issue or need clarification, please contact our Customer
Service for assistance. Please refer to the CO TACT card included with the product.
☛On each step read the instructions and analyze the illustrations thoroughly before
proceeding to do the assembly.
☛To avoid misalignments, always leave the screws loose and tighten them until all pieces
are positioned correctly.
☛Do not overtighten or force the screws as they might break, strip, damage the threads
of the holes or get stuck inside the part.
☛Sometimes the laminate might cover partially or entirely the hole on a panel, but the
hole should still be located under the laminate.
☛If there is no visible hole for the screw, pass and press the tip of your finger over the
area where the hole should be located to feel the indentation, and once found, carefully
pierce the laminate to reveal the hole underneath.
☛If the hole seems too small for the screw, first make sure you are using the correct size
of screw and that it’s been installed in the correct hole. If the hole still appears to be too
small, carefully pierce the laminate to reveal the hole’s actual size.
☛This unit uses cam bolts and locks. The following page explains how to work with this
kind of hardware.
☛Make sure you understand which hardware will be used on each step. Using the wrong
size of screw, bolt or pin might cause damage to the part in which it is being used.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE ARTS USING CAM BOLTS AND CAM LOCKS.
☛This is not an assembly step; it is a guide for when you are
actually doing the assembly using this kind of hardware.
Cam Bolt Cam Lock
1. Screw the bolt into
the corresponding
panel.
2. insert the cam lock in the
hole of the other panel
making sure it is aligned to
engage with the bolt, then
join both panels. ALIGNMENT

3. The panels might have a
very small gap which is
normal; turn the cam lock
clockwise to lock the parts
together and the gap will
also close.

Assemble the small drawer back panel (6) to the side panels (5) and (7) using
screws (A) as shown.

Insert the drawer bottom panel (8) in between the groves of panels (5), (6)
and (7) as shown.
☛Tip: The laminate might be covering the groves, if this is the case, pierce
first with the tip of a pen or screwdriver.

Assemble the drawer front panel (9) to the side panels (5) and (7) using cam
bolts (B) and cam locks (C) as shown and explained in page 5.

Grab all the sliders (1), (2), (3) and (4) and detach the smaller part (b) on all of
them by pressing up or down the lever as shown. Parts (b) will be used on
steps 5 and 9, while parts (a) will be used on step 10.
☛Tip: Make sure the sliders are completely opened, and press hard by the
thickest part of the lever, not the tip.

REPEAT STEPS 1-3 TO ASSEMBLE

Assemble the rails (1b) and (2b) to the side panels (5) and (7) using screws
(D) as shown.
☛Tip: Both rails are exactly the same.

First assemble the back panel (11) to the left panel (10) using screws (A) as
shown. Then insert the file tubes (13) in between the panels (10) and (12).
Finally, assemble (12) to (11) using screws (A) as shown.
☛Tip: This drawer is for archiving Letter-size files only, but it can also be used
for regular storage if you leave it without the tubes (13).
REPEAT THIS STEP FOR THE
SECO D SMALL DRAWER.

Insert the drawer bottom panel (8) in between the groves of panels (10), (11)
and (12) as shown.
☛Tip: The laminate might be covering the groves, and if this is the case,
pierce first with the tip of a pen or screwdriver.

Assemble the drawer front panel (14) to the side panels (10) and (12) using
cam bolts (B) and cam locks (C) as shown and explained in page 5.

With the panels (15) and (16) positioned as shown, assemble the sliders (1a),
(2a), (3a) and (4a) to the panels using screws (D) EXACTLY as shown.
Assemble the sliders (3b) and (4b) to the side panels (10) and (12) using
screws (D) as shown.
☛Tip: Both rails are exactly the same.
☛Tip: Rails (1a) and (2a) are the same; (3a) and (4a) are also the same.
☛Assembly tip: Open the slider, attach first on the back, then close the slider,
move the ball bearings to the front and screw through the opening as shown.

Attach the cam bolts (C) to the panels (15) and (16), and insert the wooden
pins (E) as shown.
☛The bolts go at top, the wooden pins at bottom.
Please refer to page 5.
Insert the cam locks (B) into back panel (17) and both panels (18) and
assemble these panels in between the left panel (15) and the right panel (16) as
shown and explained in page 5.

Attach the cam bolts (C) to the cabinet top panel (19), and insert the pins (E)
as shown.
Assemble the cabinet top panel (19) to panels (15), (16) and (17) using cam
locks (B) as shown and explained in page 5.

First attach the studs (F) to the underside of bottom panel (20), then attach
the pins (E) to the top side as shown.
☛Make sure to install the pins into the correct holes, as the other are for
screws on the next step.
Place the parts assembled in step 14 upside-down, and assemble the bottom
panel (20) to panels (15), (16) and (17) using screws (A) as shown.

With the tabletop (21) upside-down, first assemble the structure (22) and the
support tubes (23) using screws (G), then attach the studs (G) to the structure
(22) as shown.

Assemble the support tubes (23) that are attached to the tabletop (21) to the
cabinet top panel (19) using screws (I).
Insert the drawers very slowly, making sure their rails engage into the black
plastic guide of the sliders.
☛Assembly tips: The ball bearings should be all the way to the front on the
sliders inside the cabinet; first insert the bottom drawer, then the middle, and
the top at last.
☛Assembly tip: First attach the back support tube and leave the screw loose,
then attach the front support tube, and proceed to tighten both screws.

☛Do not expose the surfaces to direct sunlight or to extreme environmental conditions. Damages
caused by this kind of exposure is not covered by the product’s warranty.
☛Clean the surfaces preferable with a soft cloth damped with a solution of mild soap and water, then
dry with a clean towel. Damages caused by the use of solvents or abrasive materials are not
covered by the product’s warranty.
☛If you decide to apply a cleaning agent, first test on a small area of the unit that is hidden from view,
for example, underneath the tabletop.
☛Do not allow small children to climb over the unit or play underneath. Do not let them reach inside
the unit unsupervised.
☛Before moving the unit within the same room or to an adjacent room:
a) Remove all objects from the tabletop or drawers that are heavy or might fall off.
b) The unit must be handled by at least 2 persons.
c) Use both of your hands and bend your knees, not your backs.
☛To transport the unit to a location far away from its current location, it is recommended to
disassemble it partially in sections to avoid breakage during transit.
☛Making any modification to the unit will void the warranty on it.
