1. Charging the battery
• Connect the battery to the charger and plug
the charger into any standard electrical
outlet.
• The battery must continuously charge for
a minimum of four hours during its initial
charge period.
• After the initial charge, it should take
between 3 and 4 hours to recharge the
battery.
• The LED light on the charger will indicate
RED when the battery is being charged,
GREEN when the battery is nearly fully
charged, and it will go off when fully
charged.

Connect the battery cable to
the outlet marked with the
battery symbol.
Place the battery in the back
pocket of the vest. Pull the
battery cable through the hole
at the bottom of the pocket.
2. Connecting the system
Attach the blower unit
to the vest.
Attach the blower unit to the blower
unit support by pulling the velcro tabs
through the slots. Connect the blower
unit to the matching vest air intake.
Connect the flexible blower support
snaps to the vest.
Plug the heating cable to the
matching outlet.

Put on your protective
equipment, making sure that
the blower’s air intake is not
fully covered by it.
Press cooling button on the
remote control supplied to
toggle between on/off.
Press heating button on the
remote control to toggle
between on/off.
When connected to the battery
you can use the cooling
function with a maximum of
2h of autonomy.
Connect the blower unit to the vehicle with the cable supplied for
this purpose. When powered by vehicle, both heating and cooling
systems can be activated individually. When powered by battery,
only cooling system can be activated.

6. Pairing and resetting the
device
When pairing, please perform the following
pairing procedure:
• Turn off the RUKKA®M-CLIMA®system.
• Locate the tiny hole at the
back of the blower unit,
to access the pairing/reset
button.
• Use a small, unfolded paper-clip or similar
to push the button (the button is inside a
tiny hole).
• Tap & hold the pairing/reset button for
3 seconds & release.
• Click on the remote control cooling button
to reinitiate the system.
• Do not apply excessive force or the
electronics may be damaged inside the
blower unit.
For restarting and resetting the device:
• Hold the pairing/reset button down for
10 seconds and release.
NOTE: The remote control could be
paired with up to 5 blower units.
4. Caring for the system
RUKKA®M-CLIMA®vest can be hand
washed in warm water using a mild
detergent and hang dried. To wash this
product, firstly disconnect all cables from
blower unit, remove the blower unit, extract
the manifold from the vest side. Ensure
the battery and all system components are
removed from the garment. To clean all the
components wipe with a dry cloth.
In case you are not using some of the cable
plug holes on the blower unit, use the cover
caps provided to cover them to prevent dust
or water ingress.
5. Charging the battery
Remove the battery from the vest, connect
it to the charger and plug the charger into
any standard electrical outlet. Charging is
complete once the LED on the charger goes
from red to green to OFF (3-4 h).
Battery storage
Store the battery/remote control in a cool,
dry area. Avoid extended exposure to
direct sunlight. Charge the battery every
6 months to the amount specified by the
manufacturer, even if the battery is not
used.

Stop using this product
immediately if it becomes damaged
or is found to be defective.
Do not attempt to disassemble
the battery unit, blower unit or
heating system. If any of these
elements become broken,
cracked or ruptured, stop using
immediately and return to your
dealer for guidance.
Discontinue use immediately
if heating system becomes
uncomfortably hot.
