Let’s get started….
1. Never work onyour bike when it’s hot! Make sure your bike is cool andparked on a flat surface.
2. Locate your battery. Remove your seatand disconnectthe negative (-) cable of your battery to avoidsafety hazards. Make sure
the negative cable does not touchor contactthe positive (+) terminal of the battery.
WARNING
DO NOT ALLOW an exposednegative wire to touchthemetal frame ofyour bike. This will createa negative shortcircuit. If this
happens, the lights will illuminate very dim, andyou can’t turnthe lightsoff. This isnot a malfunction of the remote-control box.
Locateand repair thenegative short circuit and your lights will work as described. If you cut any strips, youmust seal the cut
end with silicone sealant or youwill have anegative shortcircuit.
DO NOT mount the LEDstrips to any component of the motorcycle that produces heat or is partof the system at engine
temperature. DO NOTmount directly on the engine, oil tank, oil lines, coolant system, etc.

You may cut the strip if you wishone time only in amultiple of 3 LEDs. Please cutthe strip within the copper as per below.
Note: Do not cut strip whileconnectedto power source. Do not let end of cut strip touch frameof bike.Seal the cut end ofthe
strip withthe supplied silicone sealant. Cut endsof strips that arenot sealed willcause a negativeshort resulting inthe lights
coming on very dim which could burn thecircuits of the remote-control module.
Your warrantyand guarantee are VOID if the cutend of the strip is notsealed.
Install the Engine Kit
We recommend starting withthe 36-LED strips. Thesestripsshould be installed to the bottom of theright side, andthe bottomof
the left side ofthe fuel tank shining down on theengine headers. One of the 9-LED strips should be installed behind the breather
between the engine headersshiningtowards the other side, another one behind thehorn between the engine headers shining
towards the other side, and theremaining (10) 9-LED strips can be placed anywhere under thegastank to shine downwards. Clean
the mountingsurface with the supplied alcoholtowels first. Once the alcohol dries, usethe supplied 3M adhesion promoter to
prepare the surface where you’llbe attaching thestrips. The 3M adhesionpromoter is used to enhance the adhesion strengthof the
3M tape onthe back of thelight strips and makes a permanent bond. YOU CANNOTSKIPTHIS STEP. Alwaysapply 3M Promoter to
any surfaceLED strips will be mounted. Note - Donot get thepromoter on your hands. Let the promoter dry before proceeding.
We suggest you position the LED strip before removing thetape backing.When ready, remove asmall amountof tape backingfrom
one end of thestrip while holding it in position. Continue topeel it offand press as you goto ensure the tape doesn’tstick
prematurely to thewrong place. DO NOT put excesspressure onthe resistors or onthe LEDs whenmounting them down. Always try
to connect2 strips together witha “Y-Connector”, thenthe “Y-Connector” to an 18” or 36” extension wire whenever possible then
connect the extension wire(s) tothe Remote-ControlBox.
The promoter used will cause immediateand permanent adhesion on contact with the3M tape sobesure to TAKE YOUR TIME.
You must getit right the first timefor a guaranteed trouble-free installation.
For best results, attach your lights within one houror less after the promoter has been applied.
Install the Road Coverage Kit
We recommend installing these 36-LED strips on the bottom of the frameat a 45-degreeangle on theleft and rightsidesto shine
down on the highway. They must be ata 45-degree angle and not directly on the bottom at a 90-degree angle. This is toavoid
damage to the strips if your bikeisput on a lift. Cleanthe mounting surface with the supplied alcoholtowels first. Once the alcohol
dries, use the supplied 3M adhesion promoter to prepare the surfacewhere you’ll be attaching the strips. The 3M adhesion
promoter is used toenhance theadhesion strengthof the 3M tapeon the back of thelight strips and makes a permanent bond. YOU
CANNOT SKIP THIS STEP. Always apply 3M Promoter toany surface LEDstrips will be mounted. Note - Donot get the promoter on
your hands. Let the promoter dry before proceeding.

Install the Front &Rear Wheel Kit
There are (2)9-LED strips with 72”connector wiresfor the Front Wheel, and(2)9-LED strips with 6” connectorwires forthe Rear
Wheel. The strips for the frontwheelwill go on theinner side of the left and right forktubes shining intothe wheel. The strips for
the rear wheelwill goon the inner sides of the leftand right sides of the frame or swing arm shining into the wheel. Clean the
mountingsurface withthe supplied alcohol towels first.Once the alcohol dries, use the supplied 3M adhesionpromoter to prepare
the surfacewhere you’ll be attaching the strips. The3M adhesion promoterisused to enhancethe adhesion strength ofthe 3M
tape on the backof the light strips andmakes a permanentbond. YOU CANNOT SKIP THIS STEP. Alwaysapply 3M Promoter toany
surface LED strips will be mounted. Note - Do not get the promoteron your hands. Let the promoter drybefore proceeding.
We suggest youposition the LED strip beforeremoving the tape backing. Whenready, remove asmall amount of tapebacking from
one end of the strip while holding it in position.Continue to peelitoff and press as you go to ensurethe tape doesn’tstick
prematurelyto the wrong place. DO NOT putexcess pressure on the resistors or on the LEDs whenmounting them down. Always try
to connect 2 strips together with a “Y-Connector”, then the “Y-Connector” to an 18” or 36” extension wire whenever possible then
connect the extension wire(s) to the Remote-Control Box.

Install the Wireless Remote-Control System
Place theRemote-Control Box as close toyourbatteryas possible. Connect theBlack(Negative) wiretothe Negativeterminal of your battery.
Connect the Red (Positive) wire to one wireof thein-line Fuse Holder andthe otherwire of the in-line Fuse Holder tothe Positiveterminalof your
battery.(See picturebelow) Put a fusein thefuse holder.
Now youare readyto test the strips. You have (3) connectors on the Remote-Control Box. To expand this, youmust usethe “1 to5 Connectors” or
a “Y-Connector”. When youpush theMale/Female Connectors togetherbe carefulthat the“pins” of eachconnector line up. Donot force them
together!
Press the“Upper Left”button of the Remote-Control Key Fob to turn the lights ON andOFF. Pressthe “UpperRight”button to viewthe 16
Functionsof the Controller.Press the “Lower Right and LowerLeft”buttons tochange the speed of the Fade, Flashing, and StrobeFunctions.
Once youhave tested all thestrips and confirmed they workproperly youarenow readyto connectthem.
PLEASENOTE: Yourwarranty isVOID if youconnect theLEDs directly tothe battery without usingthe In-Line FuseHolder & 5A Fuse includedin
this kit. Beware of FIRE Hazardif connectedincorrectly orwithoutusing theIn-Line Fuse Holder& 5A Fuse. Always use 5A or smaller.We are not
responsible if you donot install according to our instructions.

Notes: While 3M statesthe promoter and tape combinationwill not harm painted surfaces, we do notrecommendusing the
promoter on newpaint jobs that are not fully cured or aren’t at least six months old.
If you needto remove a light striponce placed, you cando so using ahair dryer/heatgun and carefully pullingthe lightstripoff. We
recommendusing a hard plasticcard or similar object (e.g., old credit card) to helppry the lightstrip off thesurface to whichit was
mounted. If you must remove the light strip for anyreason, the 3Mtape on the backof the light strip will not be reusable.
Clean up: 3M Promoter can be removed with isopropyl alcohol. Vigorousscrubbing may be required.
The 3M adhesive tape on the back of our LED strips is one-use only. If you applythem to a surfacethat has not been properly
prepared, the holding power of the 3Madhesive tapewill be greatly diminished perhapsmaking the light strip unusable. If you take
the time toproperly prepare thesurface in accordance withour instructionshere, you won't have any problems mounting your
LEDs.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
The Rush Lights original-owner warrantyis onlyavailable to customers who purchasegenuine Rush Lightsproductsfrom
www.rushbikes.com, ordering over thephone, or by purchasing in personat the shop. This warrantyisnull and voidinthe absence
of an originalsales receipt from oneof the purchasing options.
This warranty is aproduct-onlywarranty and doesnot cover reimbursement forlabor or any other charges you may incurhaving
a defective product replaced.
RMA Authorization Required for Defective Returns
Defective productmust bereturned for inspection and warranty approval prior toreplacement. Product thatisphysically damaged
is not eligible for replacement underwarranty. All returns must clearly displayan RMA authorization number on theoutside of the
package. An RMA number will beissued by requesting anRMA number via email OR by calling our officeat 855-969-2453. If calling
our office, pleasebe sure to have yourorder number handy which will beprinted on your receipt. Any shipmentreceived at our
offices withoutan RMA authorizationnumber clearlylisted on the package will be refusedand returned to sender.

Our FlexibleMultiColor LEDstrips have alimitedlifetime warranty tothe original purchaser. This warranty coversany defect in
material or workmanship that causes any of the LEDs not to light. The warranty does not cover damageto the LEDs, connectorsor
the strips resulting fromimproper handling, installation,corrosion,misuse, or abuse as determined by Rush Lights. This warranty
is not transferable. Cutting this product into smaller piecesin no way voids yourwarranty as it wouldwith other products, if you cut
the strips as instructed.
IMPORTANT NOTE! All Rush Lights LED and remote-control products must be protected with the included 12V fuse. Failure to use
this fuse voids the productwarranties describedherein.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE LIABILITYOF RUSHLIGHTS, IF ANY, AND PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FORDAMAGES FOR ANY CLAIM OFANY
KIND WHATSOEVER, REGARDLESS OFTHE LEGAL THEORY AND WHETHER ARISING INTORT OR CONTRACT, SHALL NOT BE GREATER
THAN THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT FOR WHICH SUCH CLAIM IS MADE. IN NO EVENT SHALL RUSHLIGHTS BE
LIABLETO PURCHASER FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, COMPENSATION, REIMBURSEMENT OR DAMAGES ON ACCOUNT OF THE LOSS OFPRESENT ORPROSPECTIVE
PROFITS OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON WHATSOEVER.
GOVERNING LAW:This non-transferrable limitedwarranty shall be governed by thelaw of the State ofTexas,U.S.A., and the United
States of America,excluding their conflictsof laws principles. The courts of Harris County, Texas,shall have the exclusivejurisdiction
over any legal action withrespect to this warranty. This limited warranty givesspecific legal rights.You mayalso have other rights
that may varyfrom state to state or from country to country. Some states or countries donot allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, sothe above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.You are advisedto consult
applicable stateor country laws for a full determination of rights.
