You may cut the strip if you wishone time only in amultiple of 3 LEDs. Please cutthe strip within the copper as per below.
Note: Do not cut strip whileconnectedto power source. Do not let end of cut strip touch frameof bike.Seal the cut end ofthe
strip withthe supplied silicone sealant. Cut endsof strips that arenot sealed willcause a negativeshort resulting inthe lights
coming on very dim which could burn thecircuits of the remote-control module.
Your warrantyand guarantee are VOID if the cutend of the strip is notsealed.
Install the Engine Kit
We recommend starting withthe 36-LED strips. Thesestripsshould be installed to the bottom of theright side, andthe bottomof
the left side ofthe fuel tank shining down on theengine headers. One of the 9-LED strips should be installed behind the breather
between the engine headersshiningtowards the other side, another one behind thehorn between the engine headers shining
towards the other side, and theremaining (10) 9-LED strips can be placed anywhere under thegastank to shine downwards. Clean
the mountingsurface with the supplied alcoholtowels first. Once the alcohol dries, usethe supplied 3M adhesion promoter to
prepare the surface where you’llbe attaching thestrips. The 3M adhesionpromoter is used to enhance the adhesion strengthof the
3M tape onthe back of thelight strips and makes a permanent bond. YOU CANNOTSKIPTHIS STEP. Alwaysapply 3M Promoter to
any surfaceLED strips will be mounted. Note - Donot get thepromoter on your hands. Let the promoter dry before proceeding.
We suggest you position the LED strip before removing thetape backing.When ready, remove asmall amountof tape backingfrom
one end of thestrip while holding it in position. Continue topeel it offand press as you goto ensure the tape doesn’tstick
prematurely to thewrong place. DO NOT put excesspressure onthe resistors or onthe LEDs whenmounting them down. Always try
to connect2 strips together witha “Y-Connector”, thenthe “Y-Connector” to an 18” or 36” extension wire whenever possible then
connect the extension wire(s) tothe Remote-ControlBox.
The promoter used will cause immediateand permanent adhesion on contact with the3M tape sobesure to TAKE YOUR TIME.
You must getit right the first timefor a guaranteed trouble-free installation.
For best results, attach your lights within one houror less after the promoter has been applied.
Install the Road Coverage Kit
We recommend installing these 36-LED strips on the bottom of the frameat a 45-degreeangle on theleft and rightsidesto shine
down on the highway. They must be ata 45-degree angle and not directly on the bottom at a 90-degree angle. This is toavoid
damage to the strips if your bikeisput on a lift. Cleanthe mounting surface with the supplied alcoholtowels first. Once the alcohol
dries, use the supplied 3M adhesion promoter to prepare the surfacewhere you’ll be attaching the strips. The 3M adhesion
promoter is used toenhance theadhesion strengthof the 3M tapeon the back of thelight strips and makes a permanent bond. YOU
CANNOT SKIP THIS STEP. Always apply 3M Promoter toany surface LEDstrips will be mounted. Note - Donot get the promoter on
your hands. Let the promoter dry before proceeding.
