
Air Fry - Batch 1
1. Start your Russell Hobbs Dual Air Fryer by pressing the “Power” button.
2. Select the “Meal” function on the touch pad. (Drawer 1’s settings will automatically be
available to adjust.)
3. Select the “Defrost” cooking function on the touch pad which will illuminate once selected.
4. Adjust your temperature to 180°C by pressing the down arrow by the “TEMP” button and set
the time to 8 minutes by pressing the down arrow by the “TIME” button on the touch pad.
5. Place frozen prawns into drawer 1.
6. Press “Start” and defrost your prawns. (Only press “Start” once you have completed both
recipes and both drawers are filled.)
7. Once the time reaches 00:00, you will hear a chime go off to inform you that your
Russell Hobbs Dual Air Fryer has finished the cooking process and ready to serve.
8. Remove the prawns and place into a bowl. Wash and dry the drawer.
9. Remove the heads and shells of the prawns, leaving the tail intact. Split each along the back to
remove the “vein”.
10. Mix the oil, sesame seeds, ginger and seasoning to taste in a bowl. Add the prawns and
coat completely.
11. Reset the Russell Hobbs Dual Air Fryer to the “AIR Fry” function, then air fry the coated
prawns for 5 minutes until cooked through. Wash and dry the drawer.
To finish
12. To soften the rice paper rounds, place into warm water for a minute. Remove and pat dry with
kitchen paper. Do this one at a time if you are using a small dish as they may stick together.
13. Divide the prawns, hoisin, carrot, spring onions and herbs between the rice paper rounds,
placing along the middle of each round. Starting from one edge towards the middle.
14. Fold the edges over to enclose the ingredients, then fold over the bottom edge. The prawn tail
and some ingredients should be visible once rolled.

17. Select the “Air Fry” cooking function on the touch pad which will illuminate once selected.
18. Adjust your temperature to 180°C by pressing the down arrow by the “TEMP” button and set
the time to 8 minutes by pressing the down arrow by the “TIME” button on the touch pad.
19. Press “Start” and air fry until they are cooked and golden brown on the outside. (Only press
“Start” once you have completed both recipes and both drawers are filled.)
20. Once the time reaches 00:00, you will hear a chime go off to inform you that your
Russell Hobbs Dual Air Fryer has finished the cooking process and ready to serve.
Chefs tip: Replace the prawns with fish of your choice, cut into strips or shredded, adjusting the
cooking time to ensure the fish is thoroughly cooked. For a vegetarian option, use your favourite
vegetables, cut into thin strips and prepare as per the recipe, but reducing the cooking time.
