3.1.3 Helpful tips for installation
Avoid mounting the detector near heat sources, such as
heating vents, air conditioning, vents as dryers, lights, etc.
Avoid aiming the detector toward the objects which may be
swayed in the wind, such as curtain, tall plants, miniature

The detector can be bypassed to keep the light(s) on if
required. When the connected manual switch (Manual SW)
is closed, the detector is overrided and the controlled load
stays on. Whereas the connected manual switch is opened,
the detector can resume to work normally. Please refer to
the wiring diagram (FIG. 6 & FIG.9) for the connection of
manual switch and detector for this function.

OS-365P / 365PA / 365S has a circular lens shield to
limit the detection range. The shield has 2 layers
(Layer A / Layer B), each layer includes 12 small pieces
shield and each small piece shield can cover detec-
tion area. For example, to install at the height of 2.5m,
the detection range can reach up to 8m diameter if no
lens shield is used; the detection range can reach up to
5m diameter if Layer A is used; the detection range can
reach 1.5m diameter if the whole lens shield is used
(See FIG.25-A & FIG.25-B).

the lens shield. Fix the lens shield by keeping the "△"
symbol, scale line on detector head and the gap on de-
corative frame in line, then insert the hooks of lens
shield into the four gaps of detector head firmly
