å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty
carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. Save some
packing material for support to be used later in assembly.
å Place the WASHER (82S) into one of the MOLDING
CONNECTOR CLIPS (173M) as shown in the enlarged
diagram. Using your hammer, gently tap on the WASHER to
insert the MOLDING CONNECTOR CLIP into the hole in the
LONG MODESTY PANEL (M).
å Repeat this method to insert five MOLDING CONNECTOR
CLIPS (173M) into the LONG MODESTY PANEL (M).
å Line up the groove in the LONG MODESTY PANEL
MOLDING (T) over the MOLDING CONNECTOR
CLIPS in the LONG MODESTY PANEL (M) and snap the
MOLDING onto the CLIPS.
å NOTE: The MOLDING should be centered on the PANEL.

å Stand the LONG MODESTY PANEL (M) on its edge with
the LONG MODESTY PANEL MOLDING (T) on the floor.
å Fasten the LONG TOP MOLDING (V) to the LONG
MODESTY PANEL (M). Use three BLACK 2-9/16" FLAT
HEAD SCREWS (147S).
å NOTE: You should start each SCREW a few turns before
completely tightening any of them.

å Insert two LONG DOWELS (40F) through the panel in the LEFT PEDESTAL.
å Insert two WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the LEFT PEDESTAL.
å NOTE: You may need someone's help to hold the LONG MODESTY PANEL (M)
or use packing material for support as shown.
å Fasten the LONG MODESTY PANEL (M) to the LEFT PEDESTAL. Tighten two
HIDDEN CAMS around the small ends of the LONG DOWELS.
å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the LEFT PEDESTAL insert into the
LONG MODESTY PANEL.

Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Inspect the parts thoroughly before
assembling. Disassembly of glued
parts is extremely dicult.

å First, fasten the INNER SKIRT (FF) to the CENTER SKIRT (S). Use
three SILVER 1-5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (152S).
å NOTE: You should start each SCREW a few turns before
completely tightening any of them.
å Next, fill the holes in the OUTER SKIRT (R) 1/4 to 1/2 full with
GLUE (177M). Then, insert the WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the
holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE.
å Now, fill the holes in the END SUPPORT BOTTOM MOLDING (EE)
1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Then, insert the WOOD DOWELS in the
OUTER SKIRT (R) into these holes. Wipe away the excess GLUE
.

å Push two SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS (37F) into
the large holes in the END SUPPORT (X).
å Turn three CAM SCREWS (8F) into the END SUPPORT (X).
Hardware Usage Guide
1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the
hole of the adjoining part.
NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must
remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining
part while locking the FASTENER.
2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips
screwdriver as tight as possible.

å Fasten the LONG TOP BRACES (Q) to the LONG TOP (G). Use eight SILVER 1-1/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (10S).
å NOTE: You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them.
å NOTE: The angled edge of the BRACE should face down and toward the back edge of the TOP.
å Fasten the END SUPPORT TOP MOLDING (N) to the LONG TOP (G). Use three SILVER 1-5/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (152S).

å With your hands, separate three LOCK MECHANISM SETS (193M). Be careful
of any sharp edges after separating each set.
å Fasten the LOCK MECHANISM SETS (193M) to the LONG TOP (G) exactly
as shown. Use three BLACK 15/16" SHOULDER SCREWS (144S).
å NOTE: Be sure the post on the bottom surface of the LOCK MECHANISM
SET inserts into the hole in the LONG TOP.
å NOTE: The handle should face toward the back edge of the LONG TOP.
å NOTE: The SHOULDER SCREW will allow the LOCK MECHANISM to swivel.

å With someone's help, carefully turn the LONG TOP (G) over, and hook the angled edges of the BRACES on the LONG TOP into
the angled edge of the LONG TOP MOLDING (V) and LEFT PEDESTAL BRACE.
å Fasten the LONG TOP (G) to the END SUPPORT (X). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the
END SUPPORT insert into the END SUPPORT TOP MOLDING.
å Remove the SMALL DRAWER (B) from your unit. Push in the black lever on each side of the drawer and pull the drawer
completely out. Refer to the diagram at the bottom of the page.

To remove the drawer, push the black lever in and
pull the EXTENSION SLIDE on the drawer from the
EXTENSION RAIL on the PEDESTAL.
