3.2. Operator guide
To enter the menu, turn the machine back on and press the following keys in sequence

If the sequence is correct,
the programming menu is
accessed.
Menus must be PASSWORD-protected.
The PASSWORD is not requested if it is set to the default value (0000). The password must be changed upon rst
starting the machine, so as to prevent access by unauthorised staff.
PASSWORD SETTING
The PASSWORD shall be set by the operator, so as to prevent access by unauthorised staff, who might change the
settings of the machine and cause its malfunction.
Follow these steps to set the PASSWORD:

CREDIT MENU This menu makes it possible to manage credit so as to avoid the delivery of the wrong product Credit
management does not work for hot water, hot milk and steam delivery.

Note: the machine shall always display the number of credits when they reach the

BEVERAGE PARAMETERS
This paragraph describes the various parameters that can be changes.
Note: not all parameters are present for all programmable items.
Pre-infusion:coffeeiswetbeforeinfusion,soastohighlightthefullaromaofcoffee,withexcellent
results.OFF:pre-infusiondoesnotoccur.
LOW: enabled HIGH: longer, to enhance the taste of coffee.
This section can be used to program the quantity of milk delivered every time the beverage is selected.
Thebarmakesitpossibletone-tunethequantityofmilktobeused (unit of measure in seconds)
These settings are valid only to program the delivery of beverages containing milk.
This section can be ised to program the coffee brewing temperature.
LOW: low temperature
NORMAL: standard temperature
HIGH: high temperature
This section can be used to program the quantity of water delivered every time the relevant key is
pressed.Thebarmakesitpossibletone-tunethequantityofwatertobeused(unit of measure in
turbine pulses).
These settings are valid only to program the delivery of Hot water.
This section can be used to program the quantity of coffee delivered every time the beverage is

For every beverage, it is possible to go back to the default settings, also according to the language
selected.
Once this function is selected, the customised settings for that beverage are deleted.

This function makes it possible to set the language for the menu and the brightness of the display
This setting is fundamental for the correct adjustment of the machine parameters according to the
Country of the user.
The currently selected language is displayed. It is possible to change language using the
appropriate keys.

This function makes it possible to enable/disable the audible warnings

the latest beverage dispensed. The default interval is 30 minutes.
Aftertheexpirationofthesetinterval,themachinegoesonstand-by.Pressanykeytowakethe
machine.
After a diagnostic cycle and a heating cycle the machine is again ready for use.
To enable the audible warnings
In this way, when the machine is turned on all the boilers are also turned on, to allow immediate
preparation of all beverages. This entails a higher energy consumption, as the machine is always
ready to use.

Note: this section describes how to reset the default values for the custom settings of the
machine menu.

This menu can be used to set the parameters for the correct management of water used to brew
coffee.
To change the water hardness setting of the machine. Thanks to the "Hardness" function, it is possible
to adapt the machine to the level of hardness of the water used, so that the machine can signal the
need for a descaling cycle at the correct time.
To activate the function that allows the machine to be connected to the water mains.
(only for specic models).

Particular attention must be paid to this function, as malfunctions can occur in case
the wrong values are input The "ON" option can be enabled only if the "Mains Water " kit is installed, and
only if it is correctly connected; in all other cases, the option causes a malfunction. When the "ON" option
is selected, the "FILTER ENABLING" and "FILTER ACTIVATION" functions shall be hidden and it will not be
possible to select them.
