machines.Werecommendusinga Saecodescalingagent.
Descalingis necessaryevery3-4months,when thereis a reductionin the water
capacity.Themachinemustbe on;it automaticallycontrolsthe distributionof the
descalingsolution.
Whenthe machineneeds
descaling, the indicator
lightwillflash.
Removethecartridgefilter
carefully. Fillthewatertankwiththe descalingsolution. Placea large receptacle
beneaththesteamtube. Press the button for 5
seconds.
Openthe knob.
The descaling process
starts.
The solutionwill be di-
schargedatintervals. The lights will flash to signalwhendescalingis
over.
Close the knob.
Removethe container.
Place a large receptacle'
beneaththesteamtube. Opentheknobto rinse. Whennowateris left,turn
theknobtoclosethevalve. Remove the container.
Rinseout thetank andfill it
with fresh drinking water.

With the pre-brewingprocess the coffee is slightly
moistenedbeforeactualbrewing.Thisbringsoutthefull
aromaofthecoffeeandlendsit anexcellentflavour.It is
possibletochooseeither"enabled"or"disabled".
Whenthisfunctionisenabled,theinternalmachinecircuits
will be rinsedimmediatelyafterthewarming-upphaseto
ensurethatcoffeeispreparedwithfreshwateronly.
In all new appliancesthis functionhas already been
enabledinthefactory.
This procedure serves to activate allthe settings made.

replacethefilter.
5. Tostoreanalreadyopenedfilter,sealitinanylonbagandkeepinthefridge;
donotstoreitinthefreezertoavoiddamagingthefilterproperties.
6. Beforeusingthefilter,leaveitto soakinthewatertankfor30minutes.
7. Onceitistakenoutofitspack,donotkeepthefilterintileopenair.
