• Make sure that the polishing wheel is securely fastened to the spindle.
• Make sure that the polishing wheel can be turned by hand.
Before use, always ensure that the surface to polish has been thoroughly washed
and is free of dust, dirt, oil and grease.
Place the polish directly onto the pad before turning the Polisher ON
Using the Polisher
• Always hold the Polisher in both hands to start and stop.
• Always start polishing on the lowest speed by setting the regulator to its
minimum setting before turning the unit on.
• Keep the foam pad or polishing bonnet flat against the surface being polished.

6
The Polisher has a variable speed control setting. Always start using the slowest
speed to get the best results.
The polishing pad can be changed as required. Ensure that the Polisher is turned
off at the mains before changing the pad.
The polishing sponge should be centred on the backing pad. The easiest way to do
this is by placing the polishing pad underneath the Polisher and then placing the
backing pad onto it from above. It should be placed evenly around the edge of the
backing pad.
The Polisher normally vibrates during use due to its oscillating action. If the
Polisher vibrates a great deal, check that the polishing sponge is centred on the
backing pad.
The backing pad is factory-balanced for a polishing sponge of the recommended
dimensions.
