SALTON ELITE FAN HEATER

2
Congratulations on purchasing our Salton Elite Fan Heater. Each unit is manufactured to
ensure safety and reliability. Before using this appliance for the first time, please read
the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
FEATURES OF THE SALTON ELITE FAN HEATER
The Salton Elite Fan Heater is ideal for both summer and winter. This unit comes
with a cool-air fan function, perfect for cooling down those hot summer days.
Two heat settings on the heater mean that you can set the heater to WARM or HOT.
The variable thermostat allows you to control the output of the heater, according to
the ambient temperature and size of the room being heated.
The fan heater has a 90˚ oscillating function with a separate on/off switch for the
oscillation.
The over-heat protection switch will automatically switch off the heater in a case of
overheating, and switch it on again when the heater cools down sufficiently.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the heater on a stable floor surface, away from curtains, clothes and any other
flammable materials. Make sure the controls knob is in the Off “O” position, and the
temperature control knob is on Min.
Plug the heater into the wall socket and switch on the wall socket.
To switch the unit on, turn the control knob on the right-hand side of the unit in a
clock-wise direction. The first setting is the fan setting. The second setting is the
WARM setting (1000W), and the third and last setting is the HOT setting (2000W).
Select the setting you require.
Next, turn the thermostat control knob (left-hand side of unit) in a clockwise direction
to select your ideal heat setting, based on the room size and the ambient
temperature.
To make the heater oscillate, switch on the oscillation function using the switch on
the front of the base. Turn this switch off to stop the heater from oscillating. The
heater will then point in one direction only.
When you have finished using the heater, turn the control knob to the Off “O” position
and the temperature control knob to the Min position. Switch off the wall socket and
unplug the heater from the wall socket.
