•This flash requires using 4AA-size Ni-MH alkaline batteries. m
Please do not use the battery other than this type. There are cases that the flash does not operate ~
normally, does not demonstrate sufficient performance, or is overheated. ~
• It is not recommended to use the manganese drycell for the sake of battery performance. =r
•When not using the unit for along period of time, please remove the battery.
The inside of flash can be damaged by the leaked fluid of battery.
•When using the unit
in acold place, the battery performance may be deteriorated and the charging
time may get longer.
In this case, please prepare spare battery and use them alternately while keeping warm.
•Please
do not destroy or charge disposable battery.
This may cause rupture or leakage.
•When replacing the battery, please do not use the batteries by mixing them with different
manufacturers, type or capacity.
•Please insert the batteries properly according to the

• The fiash light can be adjusted manually in 6 steps according to the zoom lens of camera (P/R 111 - 1/32). ~

• By adopting a large LCD panel, you can easily check the status of fiash and can set the functions of fiash. =r
• In order to prevent unnecessary power consumption I the unit is automatically switched into the power
saving mode when not being used for a certain period of time. (P 16)

Installing the flash
Before installing the flash, release the hot-shoe fastening ring by turning it in the
counterclockwise direction.
Upon the installation, lock the flash by turning the hot-shoe fastening ring
in the
clockwise direction.

Using the flash mode
Use of A-TIL mode
When using aSamsung digital camera that supports the A-TTL (Advanced Through The
Lens) mode, the A-TTL icon will appear when the
mode button is pushed. This measures
the light entered through the lens and calculates an appropriate level of exposure while
basing on the exposure and shutter speed set
to the camera in the A-TTL mode.
1. Please install the flash after removing the hot-shoe cover of camera.
2. Turn on the power of flash.
3. The burst mode of flash is set to the A-TTL mode.
4. When the charging is completed, the light is turned on to indicate the completion of
charging. Please take pictures after checking whether the flash is fully charged.

* This is based on the Samsung digital camera that is installed with hot-shoe.
Adjusting the amount of flash light
1. Please install the flash after removing the hot-shoe cover of camera.
2. Turn on the power of flash.
3. Set the flash mode to MANUAL by pushing the Imodelbutton on the back of the flash.
When pushing the 'modelbutton in the MANUAL mode, the PR (amount of flash light)
value is changed in the order of 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32.

Using the flash
Using the 'zoomlbutton
This product is installed abuilt-in power zoom head. The
power zoom, which can be controlled through camera,
automatically sets
an appropriate range of flash light
according to the focal distance of zoom lens in use.
You can either set automatically in the range of 28 ~
105mm or set manually in the focal distance of 28, 35, 50,
80 or 105mm by pushing the 'zoom
lbutton.

The power zoom function can be used in the zoom lens
of 28mm or above.
- The auto power zoom function can be used only when
