Avoiding hair tangles
If your hair gets caught in the attachment, do not panic!
The unique rotating detangler should ensure that you do not have any tangles.
In the unlikely event that your hair should become tangled:
1. Immediately slide the speed switch to the OFF (O) position.
2. Unplug the Styler.
3. Depress the rotating detangler button, and gently and slowly pull the hair
free.
4. Twisting the attachment up and down will only cause the attachment to
become more tangled.
5. Using the end of a tail comb is sometimes useful to loosen the tangled area
if it has become very tangled. Once you have loosened the hair repeat step
3.
6. Try not to wrap the hair around the brush more than 2 –3 times.
Long hair
1. Use caution with hair that is longer than shoulder length.
2. Use small sections and take your time.
3. Be cautious to avoid tangles.
Cool Shot
1. While styling, it is a good idea to slide the settings switch to the Cool Shot
setting, before letting the hair down.
2. Cold air helps to set the curl for a longer lasting style.
3. The hair must be completely dry and warm to the touch before using the
Cool Shot.
Damp hair
1. If styling damp hair, the use of a mousse or styling spay is helpful to
maintain volume and hold the curl.
2. Use a hairdryer to remove excess moisture from the hair before using the
Curl Power Hot Airbrush.
3. The hair should feel moist to the touch (a little more than halfway dry).
Dry hair
1. Hair that is dry should be “misted” slightly using a spray water bottle, then
combed through.
2. Although the Curl Power Hot Airbrush may be used on dry hair, misting
allows the hair to be more responsive to styling.
Operating the Curl Power Hot Airbrush
1. Plug the Curl Power Hot Airbrush into an AC electrical outlet.
2. During the first few minutes of initial use, or after being stored for a while,
you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly
dissipate.

3. Set the Curl Power Hot Airbrush to the desired setting.
4. Direct the Curl Power Hot Airbrush through a section of hair at a time.
5. The average size of a section should be between 2 –2.5 centimeters thick
and 4 –5 centimeters wide.
6. When finished, slide the speed switch to the OFF (O) position and unplug
the unit.
Care and Maintenance
1. Switch the Curl Power Hot Airbrush off, unplug it and let it cool down.
2. Wipe the body of the Curl Power Hot Airbrush with a soft damp cloth. If
necessary use a little washing-up liquid.
3. Remove deposits from the inlet grille, filter mesh and styling attachment, by
brushing with a soft brush.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
