Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to
local regulations.

fully understand all the operational features it offers.

INSTALLATION
Location
When selecting a position for your unit make sure the floor is flat and firm, and that the room is well
ventilated with an average room temperature of between 16°C and 32°C. Avoid locating your unit near
a heat source, e.g. a cooker, boiler or radiator. Avoid direct sunlight. If you are placing your unit in an
outbuilding such as a garage or annex ensure that the unit is placed above the damp course, otherwise
condensation will occur on the cabinet. Never place the unit in a wall recess or into fitted cabinets or
furniture.
When installing the unit, ensure that 2 cm of free space is left at both sides and 3 cm at the rear of the
unit. The door can open to the right or the left, depending on what better suits the location. Please
ensure there is adequate space for the door to fully open.
• If you want to have the door swing reversed, we recommend that you contact a qualified
technician. You should only try to reverse the door yourself if you believe that you are qualified
to do so.
• All parts removed must be saved to do the reinstallation of the door. You should rest the unit
on something solid so that it will not slip during the door change process. Do not lay the unit
flat as this may damage the coolant system. Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
Installation
Should you wish to move the unit to another location
and reverse the door, see the “Reversing the Door
Swing” Section.
Do not over tighten the screws as you may damage
the glass door.
Installing the Door Handle
1. Remove the 2 decorated caps on the left hand side of the
front of the glass door.
2. Position the door handle over the 2 screw holes.
3. Using a screwdriver and the supplied screws carefully
screw the door handle to the glass door.

10. Unscrew and remove the lower hinge bracket and foot, and
the door supporter.
11. Screw the bottom hinge and door supporter into place on
the new side.
8. Remove the top hinge cover and unscrew the top hinge.
9. Slide off the door and place it on a padded surface.
4. Remove the decorated caps on the glass door.
5. Unscrew the two screws that hold the door handle and then
transfer the handle other side.
6. Place the decorated caps back to glass door.
7. Tilt the unit carefully. 2 people are required to tilt the unit
during the door reversing process.
• Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty.
• Adjust the two levelling feet to their highest position.
• To take the door off it is necessary to tilt the unit backwards. You should rest the unit on
something solid, e.g. a chair just below the top panel.
• All parts removed must be saved to do the reinstallation of the door. You should rest the unit
on something solid so that it will not slip during the door reversing process.
• Do not lay the unit flat as this may damage the coolant system.
• We recommend that 2 people handle the unit during assembly.
Reversing the Door Swing
Tools required: Philips style screwdriver / Flat bladed screwdriver / Hexagonal spanner.

12. Set the door back onto the bottom hinge, re-attach the top
hinge bracket to where it was located on the opposite side
(right to left).
13. Check that the door is aligned horizontally and vertically and
that the seals are closed on all sides before finally tightening
the bottom hinge. Re-adjust the levelling feet.
Levelling the Unit
To do this use the two levelling feet at the front of the unit.
If the unit is not level, the door and magnetic seal alignments will
not be covered properly.
Cleaning Before Use
Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda. Then rinse with warm water using
a ‘wrung-out’ sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and bottle rack. Clean
the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
If you require more information refer to the Cleaning section.
• Before Plugging in YOU MUST
Check that you have a socket which is compatible with the plug supplied with the unit.
• Before Turning On!
Do not turn on until two hours after moving the unit. The coolant fluid needs time to settle.
Before Using Your Unit
Before placing any wine in the unit, turn it on and wait for 24 hours, to make sure it is working properly
and to allow it time to fall to the correct temperature. Your unit should not be overfilled.
Adjusting the door
If the door supporter is blocking the door, or the door
becomes unbalanced during use, please adjust using 1 of
the following methods:
1. Insert 2 or 3 plastic rings on to the bottom door hinge.
2. If the door supporter is not needed, please change it to
the supplied levelling foot.

6. If you are concerned that the temperature display of wine
cooler is not correct and wish to check the temperature
you will need a special fridge/freezer thermometer.
You may also need a hygrometer to check the humidity
of your wine cooler. These are available from most
supermarkets and hardware shops.
Place the thermometer and hygrometer on the middle
shelf of the wine cooler, where it can be read easily. Leave
overnight, compare the temperature of the thermometer
and the display in the wine cooler. The humidity in the
wine cooler should be between 50%-80% RH depending
on the type of wine.
When you use the wine cooler for the first time or restart the wine cooler after having been shut off
for a long time, there could be some frost form inside the compartment. There could also be a few
degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated on the display. This
is normal and it due to the length of the activation time. Once the wine cooler is running for a few
hours everything will be back to normal.
Using the Humidier
Using the humidifier can protect wine from too much or too less humidity. If your wine cooler is too dry
(below 50% RH), the cork dries up. The air can get into the wine and alter its composition.
The humidity of the wine cooler can’t be too high (above 80% RH), as the humidity damages the cork and
the smell of the cork will go into the wine.
Operation
Switching On Your Wine Cooler
1. Press the POWER button to switch on the Wine Cooler.
2. You can select the temperature display setting from Fahrenheit to Celsius degrees by pressing the °C/°F
button. When Fahrenheit is selected, the °F indicator will illuminate on the display. When Celsius is
selected, the °C indicator will illuminate on the display.
3. You can turn the interior light on or off by pressing the button.
4. You can set the temperature in the upper / lower chamber by pressing the respective or button.
The flashing number shown on the display represents the selected temperature. After the selected
temperature is set, the display will show the actual temperature. The temperature will then gradually
adjust to your selected temperature.
5. The upper chamber temperature can be set from 12°C to 22°C, and the lower chamber temperature
from 5°C to 12°C. You can increase or decrease 1°C (or 1°F) with each press of the or button. To
avoid frost build up, the temperature should be set above 7°C when the ambient temperature is above
28°C.

Stacking the Wine Bottles
The shelf system has been designed so that a range of
shelf heights can be selected. All the shelves can be
adjusted. There is also a bottle rack at the bottom of
the wine cooler.
When placing the bottles into the wine cooler, make
sure there is no contact with the back inner surface.
Make sure the bottles could not be places directly
onto the electronic board of control panel. Always
place the bottles onto the wooden shelves.
Noises Inside the Wine Cooler
You may notice that your wine cooler makes some unusual noises. These noises are perfectly normal,
and are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. It has become more
pronounced since the introduction of CFC free gases. This is not a fault and will not affect the performance
of your wine cooler.
This is the compressor motor working, as it pumps the refrigerant around the system.

Filling Water into Humidier
1. Pull out the water tank of the humidifier.
2. Use a bottle to fill water into the water tank to the Max level.
3. Remember to fill with water every 6 days (depending on the actual humidity in your wine cooler).
