• If the blender becomes clogged, switch o and unplug the mains cable from the mains
socket before cleaning the obstruction. Check carefully for damage.
• Do not use the appliance for any purpose not specied in this manual.
• The blender jug should only be used with the base unit provided.
• Ensure the base unit is switched o before removing the blender jug from the base.

• This appliance is intended for indoor household use and similar applications such as:

First Time Use
1. Before using your blender for the rst time, wash the blender jug, blender bottle, blade
assemblies, lids and measuring cup. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Place the base unit on a stable surface, free from heat and moisture and within easy
reach of a mains socket. The mains cable should not be taut.
Preparing and Filling the Ingredients
1. Cut the ingredients into 25mm (1”) cubes before placing them into the jug or bottle. If
the food is very solid or dry, cut the pieces into smaller cubes.
2. Fill the blender jug or bottle with the ingredients.
3. Do not overll the jug or bottle. If you are preparing a large quantity, use several smaller
batches.
4. If the ingredients are very dry, put some liquid into the jug or bottle. You should never
try to reduce dry ingredients in the blender.
Fitting the Jug Lid
Place the lid on the top of the jug and
slightly push the lid to release the air
pressure from the jug. Make sure that the
lid is properly secured.
Fitting the Measuring Cup
The measuring cup has an integral measuring
cup which is useful for measuring small
amounts of ingredients.
Place the measuring cup in the slots on the
lid and turn clockwise to lock. Make sure the
measuring cup is properly secured and locked.
To avoid splashing, always operate the blender
with the measuring cup rmly in place.

Fitting the Blender Bottle to the Base Unit
1. Screw the blade assembly to the open end of the blender bottle.
2. Turn the bottle upside down. Align the arrow to unlock position and turn the bottle
clockwise to lock. To unlock, turn the bottle anti-clockwise. If the bottle is not properly
tted to the base, the blender will not start.
Fitting the Jug to the Base Unit
Place the blender jug on the base unit. If the jug
is not properly tted and locked to the base, the
blender will not start.
The lid must be secured and locked
to the jug to avoid splashing. The jug
must be properly tted and locked to
the base, otherwise the blender will
not operate.

Operation (Blender Jug)
1. Open the lid and put food into the jug. Close the lid and slightly push the lid to release
the air pressure from the jug.
2. Make sure the jug, measuring cup and the lid are secure and the jug is properly tted
and locked to the base.
3. Plug your blender into the mains and press the On/O button. The On/O button will
ash. The display shows “0:00” ashing. Select your desired operation mode.
4. To stop the operation, press the On/O button.
5. To power o, press the On/O button.
Blender’s Operation Modes
Pulse Button Press the Pulse button to run the blender intermittently rather
than continuously. You can press this button repeatedly to
achieve the desired result.
Crush Ice Button • Press the Crush Ice button for crushing ice.
• Put some ice cubes into the jug (12 to 15 ice cubes). There
is no need to add water.
1 Single Serve
Button
Press the 1 Single Serve Button while you’re using blender
bottle.
2 Chop Button Press the 2 Chop button for chopping function.
3 Mix Button Press the 3 Mix button for mixing function.
4 Liquefy Button Press the 4 Liquefy button for liquefying function.
5 Smoothie Button Press the 5 Smoothie button for making smoothies.
The number on the button indicates the blending speed.
During blending, you can feed in small amounts of food or liquid through the jug lid. To do
this:
1. Stop the blender and hold the lid.
2. Turn the measuring cup slowly clockwise to free it and then lift it out.
3. Gradually feed pieces of food or liquids into the jug through the feeder.
4. Fit the measuring cup back when you have nished.
• Do not run the blender continuously for more than 1 minute. After 1
minute the appliance will auto-stop. Allow the blender to rest for 2 minutes
before using it again.
• Never blend very hot liquids in the blender. This is dangerous as the
pressure inside the jug will build up and may cause the contents to escape
from the jug.
• If you spill liquid on the blender base immediately switch o and wipe dry.
• Do not run the appliance without securing the lid and measuring cup.
• The blender will enter stand-by mode after it is idle for 2 minutes.
