STEP BY STEP INSTALLATION
1. Select Location
First, select the location of the Bio Smart Screen. In
order to do so, keep in mind that the touchscreen has
to be located near a power outlet and that the Ethernet
cable of 20 provided has to run between the ballast box
and the touchscreen.
You could always consider procuring a longer Ethernet
cable if the 20 provided is not adapted to your
installation. We recommend not using cables longer than
100. Ensure that the cable is a Ethernet cable
straight-through (standard) and not a crossover.
e preferred location for Bio Smart Screen should allow
for an easy access and high visibility, preferably on a wall
at eye level. Environmental conditions, where the Bio
Smart Screen is installed, should be of 4 to 40°C (40 to
105°F) with a non-condensing humidity level.
2. Secure Enclosure to Wall
Separate the front cover from the back cover of the plastic
enclosure that holds the touchscreen. Set aside the front
cover (attached to touchscreen). Depending on the type
of surface you encounter, use the appropriate screws (and
anchors) to secure the back cover to the wall.
By aligning the guiding grooves of the top rst, gently
press in the front cover to reassemble it with the back
cover already axed to the wall with the Sanuvox logo
facing straight.
3. Connect the Ethernet Cable to the Ballast Box
Make sure the power to the ballast box is disconnected
before following the next steps. Remove the cover of the
ballast box. Push in the desired knockout and run the ca-
ble through it and connect it to the Ethernet port located
on the PCB. Insert the grommet around the cable and t
it in the knockout to create a seal. Close the cover of the
ballast box and power ON the UV Bio-Wall Max.
4. Connect the Ethernet Cable and Power Supply to the
Bio Smart Screen
Connect the remaining end of the Ethernet cable to the
Ethernet port of the Bio Smart Screen. Finally, plug in
the power supply into the power outlet and connect the
DC power jack to the Bio Smart Screen female jack.
