The Air Washer is based on electrolyzed water
technology developed by SANYO. This system
electrolyzes tap water containing chloride ions to
generate hypochlorous acid and hydroxyl radicals,
which are two different types of active oxygen
species that suppress germs. Maintaining a high
concentration of these active oxygen species in the
electrolyzed filtration water effectively fights
microbes.
