IMPORTANT
1. Connect the negative leads of the signal source and output indicator to the chassis ground unless
otherwise specified.
2. The signal input should be kept as low as possible to avoid AGC and AFT action.
3. The standard modulation is 30?4.amplitude with 400Hz signal for AM and 22.5 KHz deviation with 400Hz
signal for FM.
TUNER ADJUSTMENTS
●Use aplastic screwdriver for adjustments.
.Adjust the intermediate frequency of MW, LW and FM to the frequency of ceramic filter.
●Set of unit.

HEAD REPLACEMENT
After replacement, demagnetize the heads by using degauser.
Be sure to clean the heads before attempting to make any adjustments.
All wiring have to be returned to the original position after completed.

HEAD AZIMUTH ADJUSTMENT
Connect the oscilloscope to the headphone jack.
Load the test tape 10KHZ (MTT-1 13N or equivalent) for azimuth adjustment.
Press the PLAY button.
Use across-tip screwdriver to turn the screw for azimuth adjustment so that the left and right outputs are
maximized.
Press the STOP button.
After completion of the adjustment, use the thread lock material to secure the azimuth adjustment screw

3. TAPE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
●Connect the equipments as below.
●Load the test tape 3KHz (MTT-111 or equivalent) for tape speed adjustment.
.Press the PLAY button.
●Adjust the semi-fixed resistor on the motor bottom for frequency counter indicates 3000 Hz.
●Press the STOP button.
